Very centrally located place to stay, especially if you are traveling without a car. Boat dock: 5 minutes. Bus station: 5 minutes (easy access to the beaches!). Shops, restaurants and the impressive central square with the beautiful town hall are also within walking distance. Also the restaurants recommended by Ellie are within walking distance and excellent (be sure to try the pastry shop Athimaritis!). The apartment has no view but is cozy and very functionally furnished (very good bed, nice bathroom!). From the espresso machine to the washing machine, there really is everything you need for a longer stay and the air conditioning does its job perfectly. Communication with Ellie was just great! We enjoyed our stay in Ermoupoli very much. Thanks for everything!

Giannis's place is a very nice house, in a very beautiful village. The house was very clean and in order. Giannis has been very proactive and supportive. Surely recommended!

The apartment was new and spacious. It was about 10 to fifteen minute walk from the main part of town and harbour therefore it was quiet. There were quite a few stairs to or from the apartment and the harbour . The apartment had a large veranda with a table and chairs which was great for breakfast or a drink .

Syros is special, but Dimitri and his wife, Iro, are even more so! From the moment Dimitri picked us up at the port and drove us to their place, we felt completely looked after, safe, and truly cared for. The house is GORGEOUS- photos don’t do it justice. Within hours, I felt as though I was at home, not just on vacation. You are literally on the water, with a view from the top/main floor from every bedroom, and direct access from the lower level. I have never felt so sad having to leave in all my travels and stays. I will definitely be back! Thank you Dimitri and Iro!

Louis & Thanos's place was lovely and just like described. They were really proactive in their communication and helpfull in their tips for restaurants and beaches. Thanos was there to greet us and showed us around when we arrived. There were also two beaches just next to the house, one rocky with lot of fish and other with sand. They even provided beach umbrellas and diving masks and kids beach toys. Travelling with a kid and family the set-up with two "separate" apartments with us downstairs with out 3 year old was really handy as then everyone didn't have to wake up at 6 o'clock. We couldn't have expect for a better experience!

I had a great stay! The studio was very spacious with everything I needed, and the location was super central. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a partial sea view from the balcony. A nice addition was the Nespresso coffee machine. George was very friendly and responsive throughout my stay.

When we come back to Syros this will be our place of choice. The apartment was impeccable and exactly as listed. The host and his mother were absolutely fantastic during our entire stay. The best part about the location was the proximity to the only beach in town just a 3 minute walk away. Thank you for a fantastic experience! Shaun and family.

Wow! Panagioti’s place was way better than we expected. The neighborhood was beautiful, quiet and the balcony was our favorite place. The apartment was super extra clean, it smelled amazing and had everything we needed. Panagioti went above and beyond to help us find Serenity Apartments and even helped us with our bags. The accommodation was conveniently located close to both the port and the city center, making it easy to explore. The amenities were top-notch, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We had a wonderful stay in Syros at Rodo and George's AirBnB. We loved waking up in the morning surrounded by beautiful views of the sea, exploring the local beaches, and strolling to dinner each night! The complimentary massages were an added bonus!

We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the island of Syros. The host was so kind and picked us up at the port and also provided a range of local recommendations on places to see/things to do. The apartment is spacious and very close (10-15 minutes walking) to everything you could need.

Rena is a caring and generous host who exemplifies the original Airbnb concept of local hospitality and cultural exchange. She is kind, smart and engaging and we loved the opportunity to meet and speak with her. Staying at her place was also the perfect landing spot and home base for our 5-day stay on Syros. The room was clean and comfortable and the location, just behind the main square of the town was fantastic for exploring Ermoupoli and Ani Syros by foot. For adventure farther afield we rented a car from the port, which was easily accessible and a great day trip option to explore the beaches and beyond. A highlight of the stay was developing a breakfast routine walk through town to gather apricots, yogurt and bread from the local shops and having a low key start to the day before venturing out. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing host that went above and beyond for us to enjoy our stay. The place is beautiful with a little balcony with a view of the shopping streets to be able to sit and enjoy the beautiful coffee provided. We loved this place and the host’s hospitality so much, that we extended our stay.

Eleni's apartment is out of this world, incredible! She kindly met us late at night to welcome us. As the other reviews have mentioned there are lots of stairs, but we were fully prepared for this. The location by the sea and in Ermoupoli could not have been better. The patio and outdoor area is simply stunning. We swam in the sea everyday despite the weather - there is a wonderful swimming platform (Vaporia Beach) a few minutes away. The apartment is much larger than we expected with excellent amenities. Eleni left us extra towels, water, blankets and was very helpful, letting us leave later on our last day. Thank you!

We booked last minute 3 nights when Asimina had a cancellation - how lucky we were! The apartment is fabulous with three bedrooms, lovingly presented by Asimina and excellent air conditioning in all. The bathroom, kitchen and living room are all spacious and have everything you could need. The neighbourhood is very peaceful & quiet, but there is a mini-market just 1 minute walk away and it was less than 10 minutes walk to the port, main square and all the bars and restaurants. Asimina was fantastic - very responsive to messages and she went above and beyond to get the flat ready so that we could check in early when our ferry arrived so we did not have to wait around for hours with our bags. We are so grateful we had the chance to stay here and would recommend to anyone who needs a clean and comfortable place to stay in Ermoupoli.

We could not recommend this accomodation highly enough. The location was so perfect, with cafes and restaurants at your doorstep. The room itself was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a short stay. The hosts were extremely helpful, super friendly and even left us with drinks and pastries in the fridge. If you are staying in Syros we reckon this accommodation and wish we could give more than 5 stars. Thank you for such a great stay!

Great place, close to everything, I loved the cute garden. The host was kind enough to provide extra towels for my friend and was lenient with the check out. They even gifted me a box of local sweets. I would totally choose it again for my stay in Syros.
