Family-friendly vacation rentals in Syros - Ermoupoli Municipality

We had a wonderful stay for a few days with our family. The place was very charming and peaceful. The view was even more incredible than in the photos. Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible stay! From the moment we arrived in Naxos, the hospitality from Nektarious was beyond exceptional—he picked us up from the airport and greeted us with the warmest welcome (and some delicious local treats!). The home itself was absolutely stunning—modern, spacious, and impeccably clean with a super comfortable bed that made it hard to leave. And the views… just breathtaking. Every window seemed to frame a postcard-worthy scene. This was easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. Highly, highly recommend!

This place is perfect! It’s a very short walk from town so easy to get to all the restaurants but far enough away that sitting on the balconies is extremely peaceful. Every part of the house gets sunshine so it is a lovely oasis to relax. The host was so incredibly helpful in organising transfers, rentals and answering questions we had. Highly recommend!

The villa was the most beautiful Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Stunning views and it looks just like the photos. We enjoyed the back terrace with the view of the ocean and the front garden with the heated jacuzzi. George was very responsive and offered to help with transportation and gave local recommendations. The gym on property was a great added bonus that we enjoyed in the mornings. 10/10 experience and if we’re ever back in Mykonos we would hope to book here again. It is helpful to have a car/transportation to get around the island as the villa is outside of the main city.

The view is stunning both day and night. The apartment is clean and they refresh it each day. The hosts are responsive and proactive with a long list of local recommendations. They have clear communication and are very friendly. We do recommend renting a car or ATV, the hill is steep and it’s a lot easier to explore the island this way. The hot tub was great, we used it everyday and it definitely enhances the experience. This is a great place to stay, highly recommend.

Annita and her caretakers (Elias and Vali were amazing! On short notice, we needed a place to stay for 3 days in Mykonos and Annita’s home was perfect. Although she was in Asia on holiday she immediately arranged for us to stay. The house, pool, location and view were outstanding! Will want to go back as soon as possible and stay longer! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

We felt right at home in this beautiful house, very nicely decorated. The view is extraordinary. And a special mention to Katarina, our host, very kind, flexible, super responsive and attentive. And cherry on the cake, she speaks French! We also enjoyed the cleaning that was done every day, like in the hotel! Recommended.

As other guest have mentioned, photos don't do this place justice. The place is SO cool, quirky.. interseting, everything! We were 6 people with 1 baby and it was plenty of space for us - one shared bathroom and one en suite. The cielings are so high, the art work is bonkers and so fun. GREAT! location for a morning swim in (6 min walk, tops!) and same distance to town. Tall narrow stairs maybe tricky for someone with limited walking abilities but otherwise its a perfect house! The rooftop views and sweet little terrace (x2) are so special. 1000% reccomend.

We stayed at Antonio’s’ for 8 nights; I think it wasn’t until we left that we fully appreciated what a privilege it had been to stay there. Luxury accommodation it is not, but instead there is peace and privacy with a beautiful outlook & the sound of the sea. We only left the accommodation a few times, once to get shopping from the town (it’s a bus ride away), & a few times to walk to a sandy beach 10 minutes down the road. The rest of our stay we were content to use the pebbly cove by the house & to sit in the garden and read, accompanied by four entertaining young cats. There is a taverna across the road which serves excellent food but unfortunately no shop in the area (closed for the season). Antonis was a great host, he collected us from the port & took us to a supermarket for supplies. He lives behind the property so was on hand if needed, but not intrusive. The house itself is spacious with quiet air con & all the essentials for keeping clean (hot water) & basic self-catering.

This was maybe the loveliest home I've ever visited. The place in Ano Syros was beautiful, full of such character, charm and coziness; I can't imagine a more perfect stay. Our check in was very easy thanks to Yannis's very detailed instructions that lead us to right to the door. We had absolutely everything we could've needed in the home and the location in ano syros was perfect for accessing everything else-- food and shops and the liveliness of Ermopoulis port were an idyllic walk away. Yannis's many local recommendations were also greatly appreciated. Thanks again Yannis, I will be dreaming of returning here soon. :) Χρόνια Πολλά!

I agree with previous reviews. Friendly welcoming staff, nothing too much trouble, beautiful setting, lovely apartment, great air con. My partner was ill during our stay and Maria was available and responded quickly to my request for assistance. The road down to the place would have been an issue for me if I were our main driver: it is unmade and steep in places. My partner was fine with it so if you are a reasonably confident driver it’s no problem.

We felt very comfortable. The property has an amazing view from the roof terrace, which can be reached via a ladder staircase through a gap. The two older children (7 years and 5 years) found the place particularly beautiful, exciting and cool. The many steps and different rooms on different levels were very appealing. We had to carry a lot of our little ones (2.5 years) because the stairs are not secured. In the terrace behind the seating steps, the parapet is not elevated, as there was a lot of care and caution.

Anna's place is serene, pleasant and beautifully situated in Chroussa. We had a lovely stay overall and Anna was quick in providing us with solutions when something was missing or needed, especially as we were challenged by a family health issue that complicated things for us in unforeseen ways. Anna is warm and friendly and her pets are entirely adorable. We recommend her place as it is a great location from where to explore the island.

Graciela was a great host. She cleaned the pool every morning, which was perfect for our kids, and gave us lots of tips for things to do on Syros. The house had everything we needed and we fehlt very comfortable. We'd love to come back!

We were attracted by the old charm of this beautiful house and it's mature gardens when we found the listing but nothing had prepared us for the deeply moving experience of inhabiting this work of art. It was a feast for the senses and we hardly wanted to leave the property to explore the island durring our 10 day stay. It is an artists' house best enjoyed by other artists and all those who cannot live without beauty and can see past the odd inconvenience of a preloved space.

We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful typical, comfortable, large house with plenty of outdoor spaces and very well designed for several families. The view is incredible from everywhere, very nice pool in a beautiful and quiet environment while being only 10 minutes from the pretty Kivi station with beaches and restaurants, supermarket. Essential car Dimitri on site is full of good advice and very responsive if needed. Hoping to get back to Syros and Dani soon.

What a beautiful villa! The pool was fantastic, and the views were priceless. We had everything we needed and more. Every detail was thought out perfectly. Kameliya was so friendly, responsive, helpful, and proactive in tending to our needs. She spoiled us with ice cream, cold waters, and espresso cups upon arrival, and had a box of hand me down toys to engage the kiddos. All 8 of us slept comfortably with plenty of AC units on both floors. We used the laundry/wash machine once, and it worked great. Also, the restaurant/tavern Kameliya recommended was exceptional. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return.

The home and grounds were just as appeared in photos. A modern home built in classical style and old world quality sitting upon immaculate grounds. Korina, the owner stays on the lower level and is always available to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and to make sure everything is in order with the home. Our stay was a much needed treat in luxury, peace and tranquility.

The place is beautiful! The photos don't honor the reality of the view and the interior layout. Dimitris was very welcoming and always good advice, and Litha was very responsive in terms of communication. We recommend without hesitation!

We stayed at Bernard and George’s place for five days in August, and we absolutely loved it! The accommodation was clean, cozy, and quiet. The shared outdoor kitchen worked perfectly, and the communal spaces were overall fantastic. Despite the shared pool and kitchen, there was plenty of privacy. The place is even better in real life than in the pictures! Bernard and George were brilliant hosts—so generous and full of great recommendations for the area. We definitely recommend it! Thank you!
