Thessaloniki places to stay

We had a fantastic stay at Dimitris' place! The apartment is beautiful, super clean, and perfectly located in the charming Upper Town – a real highlight of Thessaloniki. Dimitris was a great host, very friendly and always ready with the best local tips for restaurants and sights. We loved the neighborhood, the food, and the atmosphere – everything was just perfect. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much, Dimitris!

Very nice and friendly hosts, perfect if you are travelling with a baby, they have everything you might need. Is a 30 minute walk to the city center and you can also take a bus, all very accessible. Great place, definitely would like to come back.

A very nice and cozy place close to Macedonia airport and Ippos Riding Centre. Quiet and well furbished, the apartment is ideal for 2 couples or a family with kids. I loved the terrace overlooking the street, it's a place I can spend hours drinking coffee and working on my computer!!!

We stayed at Αθήνα’ς for the second time! Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and very homely. We will return for sure!

Very nice rental where I stayed for 6 days. The photos correspond to the reality of the accommodation which is very pleasant to live in including for a family with two children. It is located in Naro Poli so there is a small climb to go to the center of Thessaloniki but it is still quite easy (20 minutes from the city center). The bedroom door that is made of glass lets light through which does not make it easy to sleep. The decoration is very nice and Pelagia very responsive to text messages; however, I regret the lack of physical contact with the host that could be made upon arrival but it is a personal point of view and this lockbox procedure is also very convenient especially when you don't know exactly the arrival time…..Many RBNB homes do this.

The apartment was as described. it was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend it. quick walk to the sea and local restaurants.

Our stay at Theodosia's home was more than wonderful! The place is located on a quiet street, 15 minutes' walk from the coastal street. The apartment has a beautiful garden. During the period in which we stayed, the flowers were in bloom and it was wonderful. The apartment is so well arranged that everyone would feel at home. Attention is paid to every detail. Theodosia is a wonderful landlord. He gave us extremely detailed and clear instructions, both for the apartment itself and for the sights, how to get to the central part, what transport to use, etc. He helped us call a taxi, as I had a problem with the Uber app. I can't find such nice words to describe my stay in Thessaloniki and at Theodosia's home! I highly recommend the place with both hands!

Very nice apartment with a great terrace. Everything was as described and the jacuzzi could also be used. From the terrasse you have almost a 360-degree view. Sunrises and sunsets are wonderful. We also received breakfast vouchers and were very happy about it. All pastries and coffee are excellent. Our host was always approachable and helpful. We will be happy to come back.

Highly recommend this Airbnb, it is deserving of the rave reviews as one of the best Airbnbs in Thessaloniki. The only thing better than the location and the apartment is Giorgos' hospitality. His listing and instructions are very detailed and he is also responsive and flexible. Giorgos is so kind and nothing is too much trouble. The location is incredible - within walking distance to all of the top attractions but with the high floor it's quiet and peaceful. The balcony/terrace is huge especially by Greek standards and a nice place to enjoy the sunshine. The apartment is modern, furnished well and spotless. Giorgos has it stocked with everything you need to feel comfortable - shampoo, coffee, biscuits etc. I enjoyed this Airbnb so much I have booked it two more times.

Our thanks to Eleni for this lovely apartment and her great communication. We didn't realise on booking just how nice a street and good a central location this was! 2 restaurants in our side street both great and the lovely Gallerias palace excavations in the square below. The apartment was quiet although in a vibrant area, and is light and spacious as per photos. Everything works well and it has everything we needed. Eleni's comms were great - super-quick replies and her blog is really helpful. We used one of the o/n parking garages round the corner that she suggested and the left luggage lockers on Egnatia on our last day as taking a late flight. These are just along the road from the airport bus stop (01X - great). You can buy bus tickets at the general shop called 'For All' which is along the road (turn left out of Apellou) on the next corner. I will definitely recommend this apartment and Eleni to any friends visiting Thessaloniki.

Everything was perfect!!!

This apartment was gorgeous – spacious and well-appointed. The location is great – in the middle of everything, close to restaurants, shops and the metro. Everything you need in the kitchen to cook some basic meals. Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Dimitris was a great communication, answering any messages within minutes. Would highly recommend!

A very nice apartment right in the centre of Thessaloniki. Very quiet as it faces an inner courtyard. Lots of space, very clean and well decorated. Neighbourhood is great with everything less than 5 mins away. Hosts were very flexible and easy to communicate with. We wish we could stay longer!!
