Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Swabia

We had a lovely stay at Dunja’s house in Westendorf. It’s a very peaceful village in a beautiful area, and a great base for exploring south-west Bavaria. The house is fabulous, and extremely well appointed. We felt right at home immediately, It is extremely spacious and immaculately clean. We would definitely look to stay here again if we were in the area.

We stayed 2 nights, was with grandma and my two boys. Fantastic view, quietly located but still close to the S-Bahn and great excursion opportunities nearby.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean and well maintained. The location is perfect – quiet yet central, so you can reach everything quickly. We would particularly like to emphasize the friendly hosts, who welcomed us warmly and were helpful at all times. We will be happy to come back and absolutely recommend this place!

We can only recommend a stay in Manuel and Lisa's cottage. The two are great hosts and everything was as described. We felt right at home. Even our dog was thought of and he had his own cozy basket in the accommodation, which he would have preferred to take with him ;) The house is quietly located and allows many great activities in the area. We will be happy to come back!

We felt very comfortable with so much space and tranquility in the cozy house and would have stayed there longer than just for a weekend. The place is well equipped and was also designed for our larger group. Dealing with Christian is super straightforward and he is happy to help with any questions.

Our whole family loved it, the countryside is especially beautiful, with cows🐑, sheep, the whole grass green oil, and the snowy mountains in the distance, which can't be enjoyed in the city. The hostess was very welcoming and waited for us in the yard in advance. The house is big enough for us to be active, if it is winter, the wood fire is burning and feeling the rural atmosphere of Germany, it must be nice. The location is good, it is only half an hour drive from Shinchan Castle, it is very convenient to come and go, the nearby town is about 7 minutes by car, there is an Aldi supermarket and gas station, it is also very convenient to need supplies, the key is that the town building is also beautiful and very clean.

We were lucky to get this place at quite short notice as we spontaneously agreed to go on a trip. 2 adults and 2 children were there. The place offers more than enough space to accommodate everyone. Theoretically, there would have been room for another person. The village where the place is located is very nice. Everything is within walking distance. The Lech that flows there invites you to take long walks. Beautiful area there. All other attractions are super easy and quick to reach by car. Even the initial doubts that there is no TV in the accommodation (the smaller participants have this) made us very nervous. But at no time was that missed. All in all, we are very glad to have had a place to stay from Micha. Who, by the way, is super nice and always available should there be any questions. I/We can only recommend it

We spend two nights and everything was perfect. The house is comfy and beautiful decorated. The hote was welcoming, easy and warm. I recommended ;)

I had the pleasure of staying at this place and can only recommend it. The location is excellent, so you can easily reach everything. In addition, the apartment is very clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. You're right at home. It's definitely worth staying here – an all-round pleasant experience!

The apartment is bright, friendly and cozy and we immediately felt comfortable. Everything you need is there and we slept wonderfully because it is a quiet area and you are immediately in nature. In about 40 minutes, you will be at Lake Constance. (Wasserburg/Langenargen/Lindau) We will be happy to come back.

I can only recommend the apartment as a starting point for hikes and a relaxing summer vacation in the mountains. The apartment is quiet and yet the village shop (fresh rolls) is central and can be reached in 2 minutes, there is also a nice ice cream shop. The apartment corresponds to the description and is really well equipped for 5 people. Contact with Julian is also excellent. I'd love to come back.

What a lovely gem, located on the winding river path in Oberammergau. We felt right at home and the family was very hospitable. Beautiful home with updated features and awesome fenced in backyard for your pets. Peaceful, quiet stay and very walkable into the center of town. Would definitely stay here again!

Katrin's place is just worth every penny! Very quiet location and very nice neighborhood. The place is even nicer than in the pictures and so far the cleanest Air BnB we've been to. Everything was just perfect. A fully equipped kitchen where really nothing is missing. Very cozy and comfortably furnished, especially with the fireplace. Very easy check-in, everything described in detail and quickly accessible for inquiries (which actually can no longer arise). Private parking right in front of the property is also available. We will be happy to come back!

The place was very quiet and beautiful and was perfect for our weekend in the mountains. Communication with Krisztina was very friendly and straightforward. We were very satisfied and can recommend the accommodation.

A home that is superbly equipped. It is nice and quiet and from there you can do many activities in nature. We felt very comfortable and recovered well in the short time

The house is very nice, large and modern. We felt very comfortable. What you should know, the room upstairs is open. The room downstairs has a large glass door that doesn't really close, large gaps to the right and left of the door. So if someone snores upstairs you can hear it downstairs, especially if you hear as well as I do and are sensitive. Thus, the 2 rooms only gave us something to a limited extent. Otherwise, but everything is really great!

We felt really comfortable in the house and had a great weekend. The house is in a beautiful and quiet area and the hot tub outside ran for us without interruption. Just the thing for rather gray weather. The bedrooms are also a really good size. Clear recommendation.

We stayed there for a few days and felt very comfortable. The apartment is very nice and in great condition, especially the fireplace was a highlight. We also liked the kitchen, super equipped and cozy. We had a good time and would be happy to come back!

We stayed here with our family of 12 people ages 5-82 and had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is beautiful and the town of Garmisch is fantastic. Tons to do, absolutely stunning location, easily walkable to a million things. We hope to be back.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Nicholas’s house. The countryside is beautiful and there are totally stunning views of the mountains from the back of the house. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna very much, and my nephew enjoyed saying hello to the chickens. The bedrooms were generously sized and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and washing machine room was essential and very welcome for our family after muddy walks. It was great how close a few walking trails were to the lake and across the moor, and the town is walkable too, with a good selection of a few local shops and larger supermarket for groceries. Even on the rainy days, the house was a very peaceful place to spend time and the large smart tv and games cupboard was a blessing for adults and toddler alike. Special thanks to the caretakers who helped make our stay especially comfortable with thoughtful recommendations and guidance when we needed it about the house.

We spent a beautiful girlfriend weekend here. It really has everything you need for it. The sauna with magnificent views over the lake, a warm hot tub that invites you to relax, and a crackling fireplace that warms up in the evening and creates a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen and large window fronts are also particularly good. Just arrive and relax. Wonderful and happy to come back.

We could not be happier with our stay at Hotel Villa Ludwig. The private villa is an entire private residence which is both luxurious and historic. The staff are lovely and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. They ensured that all our needs were met, were very responsive, and took the time to answer questions and make helpful recommendations. Fresh breads with butter, honey, and jams were delivered to the Villa each morning, and they even included gluten free options. The property is at the base of the Neuschwanstein Castle, so the location is very close to both castles in Schwangau. It is also close to local restaurants and stores. We would highly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Ludwig and plan to stay here again. Thank you to Jessica and her colleagues for making our vacation special and for being so gracious and hospitable.
