Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sumida River

Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

Fumiaki's place was great. The location is excellent and is a great hideaway after a busy day wondering the city. Looking out at the bamboo is beautiful. The place was clean and tidy and the little shop downstairs is so cute and the owners were super friendly. We loved our stay!

Yoshi was very helpful and accommodating. He thought of all our needs, towels, toiletries, toilet paper, tissues, lots of charging stations and things to use during your stay like umbrellas and suica cards. The space is narrow, since it’s in the city. But having 3 toilets was really great for our family of 5. There is one shower/bath. But we just scheduled our times and it worked out well for our group. The rooms were dark at night, and we rarely heard street noise with our sound machine on. The beds were firm. The neighborhood was very nice and there was a 7-11 and a Lawson’s around the corner. We used the Yamamote line everyday. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the closest station.

We stayed three weeks at Asakusa. We loved the place and the location. Our host was very nice and he was giving a lot of information. We want to visit again.

This is my favorite homestay in Japan, just 6-chome block Asakusa, it is not 3 minutes away from the Sensoji Commercial Street, it is very convenient.We love the layout of it the most, it is very practical and reasonable, we made breakfast for two days, even because the induction cooker can move, we even went to the supermarket to buy seafood a beef made hot pot at night, our family of 5 stayed very happy, will definitely recommend it to friends who came to Tokyo, we will come back again for the summer vacation, thank you dear host, very friendly response very promptly and kind, I wish you a lot of business

We spent three weeks in Japan with my family (including a 9 month old) and we were so happy to have found Yuri’s house. The house was very clean and free of clutter which made it perfect for our 9 month old to crawl around. It is also extremely spacious for Tokyo standards and newly renovated. Yuri was so thoughtful throughout. For example, she provided a high chair, baby cutlery, and offered us a bouncer (which we didn’t need so she took it back). She was extremely responsive to any questions. For example I asked about a rice cooker because we cooked a lot and she brought us one the next day (including a bag of rice!). She is also made us a beautiful cake. Bunkyo city is a bit quieter than other parts of Tokyo and great for kids, but has also very nice small restaurants. I never had such a positive Airbnb experience. I recommend it to anyone traveling to Japan. Thank you very much for everything, Yuri san!

Fantastic host, well decorated, and easy to get into. Bathroom is a little odd from a Western perspective, as the toilet and shower open right onto the kitchen, but is easy to adjust to. Is close to two train stations, one of which is hub at the SkyTree (which is also a large and nice mall and tourist attraction). We really enjoyed our stay!

Really spacious apartment in harajuku. Right next to everything but still quiet. Had a hairdryer and laundry in apt (washer/dryer). Would stay here again. Recommended

We had a great stay, it was very spacious which was great for us as we had our baby with us. Kotaro is a friendly, thoughtful and helpful host.

The location is in a residential area peaceful, away from the tram, Amyokocho, Daqing house, the lively place is in walking distance.Yoko's place matches the photos, you can cook something, you can take a bath all day; you can stay for many days, there is also a washing machine to wash your clothes; after checking out, you can leave your luggage, eat and buy it, and leave!It was great! If there is a drawback, it should be to carry your luggage to the 2nd floor!

Very functional and very well located accommodation in Tokyo, right next to Ueno Park. We really enjoyed these few days.

The location is closed to the station, just few stops away from Tokyo station. There are lots of places to eat nearby as well as convenient stores. Mieca was really helpful and quick response to your needs. It is a cosy place for two people and more comfortable for one person.

Great place that has a front desk. Staff is super nice and responsive. About a 7 min walk to Kuramae station (which we used quite a bit) and 12 min from Asakusa station (which we used to get a direct train to Narita airport). The room is very clean and has a washer/dryer which was very useful on the last leg of our trip. It was also pretty quiet so if noise bothers you, this is a good choice. Beds were comfortable and it was perfect space for 2 people (although im sure you can make more fit). All in all, great experience and would definitely stay here when we are back in Tokyo again. Very spacious, very close to the subway station, very convenient.The house is fully equipped, the toiletries are also fully equipped, the host is very friendly, and luggage can be stored.

I would recommend this place and would stay here again if I have the chance. Harumi was very responsive and met me in person for check-in. She has taken care of everything and the place was very nice and clean and the view of the river is amazing!

I had a lovely stay at June’s place! The room was clean, beautiful, and very well organized. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is quiet and convenient, with the subway just a 10-minute walk away. June was a kind and helpful host. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Maple's was really great! The apartment was as shown in the pictures, very spacious and the beds super comfortable. Maple prepared everything great for us and was always there, lightning fast to help, if we had any questions. Everything in the apartment was taken care of and easily explained. (such as how the washing machine works) We had a lot of shopping, were super fast everywhere by train, but also on foot at good spots. We really liked Maples neighborhood / location and it was totally quiet, despite this proximity to the city. We will definitely be back. Thx 😊

It was nice to be in a quiet neighborhood, and it was nice that the host responded quickly and was kind. And the accommodation was small but cozy, and it was nice because it felt comfortable.
