Fantastic stay in Asakusa! Comfortable apartment in a wonderful neighborhood with many options for sampling local cuisine and easily walkable to transportation. The hosts are very responsive and provide many area recommendations and informative travel guides for Greater Tokyo and beyond. The taxi was also a plus! The host has good taste, and there are lots of nice tableware and decorations in the room.Although the room is not large, it is fully functional, clean and tidy.The location of the house is very good, quiet in the middle of the bustle, and life is very convenient.The surrounding environment is also very good, and both stations are very close.The warmth and beauty of home.

i came here for our 3rd anniversary trip with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved this place!! we highly recommend it for its awesome location right next to a 7/11 for late night munchies and lots of other good bakeries and restaurants. it’s also a super short walk to the train station and it’s a quick trip to central tokyo via the express train. the place was spotless and beautiful. one of my favorite spots is in that little nook above the entrance that i’ll miss so much along with the massive windows. the hosts are super sweet and kind and made our stay till the very end extremely easy and enjoyable. my most memorable stay so far!

This was a great place to stay close to everything and an easy walk to the Ueno station. It was clean and nice and everything worked well and instructions were provided for ac and other appliances. I can’t wait to visit again!

this place humbled me. one of the most smallest airbnbs i've stayed at in japan and i've stayed in 5 others. this place is better for one person to stay, challenging for two people. if you just need a place to sleep and keep your stuff that's great. if you're frugal, modest, and simple, this place is for u. bathroom was super tiny. i needed to keep the door open to use the toilet because it felt like an airplane bathroom. supreme location and close to the ginza lines, ueno station, and convenient washing machine. comfortable bed. there was always interesting men watching from the across the patio on the staircase so we had to keep our curtains closed. hopefully more mirrors in the place next time. it was hard to share and use a 12 x 12 mirror placed at 3 feet above ground that was only in the bathroom.

It’s a bit small but if you just need a crash pad, it’s more than worth the value. Has its own washer and balcony. The room is also super clean and well-maintained. The neighborhood is nice, although quite far from central Tokyo (but super close to the train station so it’s all good).

The apartment is very spacious and clean! There is lots of closet space and places to lay out luggage without ever feeling cramped. The view from the bedroom window is spectacular at night, just a beautiful view of the Tokyo Tower. The appliances worked great especially the on-demand water heater, the super auto heat function on the microwave and the Dyson hair dryer! The shower room heater/room dryer dried our clothes and the room super fast. Walkable to a convenient store, grocery store, and good restaurants. The neighborhood is truly silent at night yet convenient to multiple train lines. Excellent stay❣️

The room is well-equipped. It includes all the things you’ll need and the amenities are clean and well-preserved. The location is very convenient, one-minute walk to the station and there is a supermarket nearby which sells food cheaper than the markets in the city center. The owner provides clear instructions and pictures, easy to check in. But note that there is no elevator. Overall the place is clean and comfortable. The price for stay was also reasonable! Great place in a great location! Room was on 5th floor and elevator only went to 4th floor, so if you have any physical disabilities or limitations, this may not be the best place for you.

Location - Easy to find from Ueno station, prime location next to the zoo, ueno park swan boats and there's a even a bus that goes directly to the skytree from the main road. Nezu station is just around the corner with plenty of shops and a supermarket next to that. It's an ideal locale for exploring tokyo, whether its sightseeing in the daytime or exploring the ameyoko nightlife. Inside - the apartment was exactly as shown in the photos. Plenty of towels provided, comfortable, good sized beds, good air-con, a washing machine and everything you would need. It even had some kids toys and books that my daughter absolutely loved playing with. Hosting - Lynn provides a lot of clear information from how to access the apartment to local recommendations for sights and restaurants. She gets in touch to make sure everything is going ok, and is always very responsive. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay to introduce my daughter to Tokyo.

A very nice place to stay! It was compact yet equiped with everything you could want like a washing machine, a balcony and a small kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy and a huge bonus was the view from the balcony. The apartment is located in a quiet area with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. Two train lines are nearby. A bus station is right outside the apartment. On top of that was our host very quick to respond to our problems and frequently asked if they could help us in any ways. We felt welcomed, relaxed and pleasant throughout our entire stay and would definetly come back here <3

Really beautiful place to spend few nights while staying in Tokyo. Pipi was always on the line, ready to assist you. Location was wonderful! Old Japan neighborhood and very calm and quiet at night. For someone a little inconvenience could be the distance you need to walk to get on the Asakusa station, as it’s 10 minutes walk. 10/10 would stay here rather than any fancy chain hotel.

Lovely apartment! We picked this place because it was close to tokyo tower and it met our expectations. Would recommend!

We were lucky to find this place, the location was great. There were a lot of shops and restaurants nearby and there are konbinis like mybasket and 24-hr lawson so it's easy to get food and snacks. The unit was very nice, clean, and spacious enough for us two, and the facilities were great. There were washing machine so we were able to do laundry and let it dry overnight in the bathroom. There was also wifi, it's very fast. The host was very nice and responsive, there were almost no delay in getting replies. Overall we had a very nice stay and hopefully we can come back to Tokyo again soon. Missing Sugamo already ❤️

Nori-san's place is great, it has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The location is great, you'll be close to many shops and restaurants while also being close to the train station to explore more of Tokyo. Nori-san also provided good recommendations close by which was appreciated. No complaints, I would stay here again if I get the chance.

The place was small, but nice. We had everything we needed and we were always helped directly with questions. Very close to the subway station. I recommend the place :)

Such a great find! The flat is stunning and looks exactly as described, spacious and very nicely designed and decorated. The area is also very vibrant, loads of restaurant and the host kindly provide a long list of places to go

Helen and Sozo were great hosts. They checked on us and made all instructions clear. The apartment is clean and quiet. It worked well for our family of 4, 6 might be tight unless you have small children. The location is in a cute neighborhood and was nice to come back to after a busy day in the city. 7-11 and restaurants all close by. Easy walk to JR line or subway. So glad we stayed here!

Gimmicky. I want to get that out of the way right now. This property is capitalizing off of having an onsen nearby with traditional looking Japanese bedding and decor. That's what got me, and it might be what's getting you...I would say that's probably not worth it. The place itself is fine. The bedding is fine, but in the end I chose this place over other cheaper options for the novelty, I feel I could have gotten a little bit better value elsewhere, but still overall happy with what I got and what I paid. I used the onsen once during my two week stay. I really like onsens, but this one is small, busy, and I just wasn't a fan. Service was awesome. He spoke great English, and helped me bring my heavy luggage up the stairs to my room. Overall, despite starting out critical here, this place is really nice and I like the quiet area next to nice walking paths. Lastly, I wish the place had a small dining table and chairs. You basically have to eat at a small low table on the floor.

Perfect spot in a quiet, residential area of Tokyo with walking distance to the nearby Ueno park, stations and plenty of nice local places for coffee, food and drinks. This was my second time in Tokyo and we were looking to stay in a less crowded, quieter spot and this was a perfect spot for those reasons. Fantastic little spot!

The apartment is very comfortable, clean, overlooking Tokyo's Sky Tower, modern and great for a good stay, close to the subway, which connects you very well with the whole city. The host was very attentive to all needs. I highly recommend this airbnb.
