My favorite Airbnb ever, great atmosphere, great people, very clean, very friendly!

Wow, what a great vacation! We could not have asked for anything more. Our hosts, Sarah, Roly, and Marilyn, took such great care of us from the time we arrived, until the day we left. Our apartment was as advertised, and set the perfect location for a great fishing trip. The river access was excellent, just a brief walk to the platform. The fish cleaning station was well lit, and very clean. There are vacuum sealers for your use to preserve your fish and several deep freezers to store your daily catch in until you leave. We were minutes from Fred Meyers, and Safeway, as well as some great places to eat. If you go, be sure to eat at Mykels, and the Acapulco. We are so looking forward to returning, and would highly recommend this property for your ultimate fishing experience, or just an amazing getaway.

Sue and Mike are very friendly and accommodating! The house is modern, clean, roomy and beautifully decorated. The hosts have it well stocked and have thought of everything to make it feel homey. The pictures don’t do it justice! Fishing on the Kenai was a blast. Most of us caught our limit daily. Would definitely go back!! Thank you soooo much for sharing your amazing home, Sue and Mike!

Very beautiful place and outdoor scenery. We felt right at home and enjoyed the deck and fire pit area. We would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay here and felt at home. The location is unbeatable and the apartment has all amenities for a pleasant stay. Thank you, Bryan, for offering up this magical spot for guests. We hope we get another chance to stay there. Fishing for world class salmon just steps from the property was an incredible experience!

This home is perfect if you’re looking for the perfect Alaskan experience. The view of the river is gorgeous. There were two bald eagles that showed themselves often. Gary gave us perfect instructions for fishing and even left us bait and tackle. He was always responsive and genuinely a perfect host.

The place includes everything you need for your stay including a fully stocked bathroom and kitchen plus a chest freezer and even bear spray (though we didn’t use it!)

Hideaway Lake House was a gem. The view of the lake and the layout of the house was great. Felt like our very own cabin on the lake. Really enjoyed taking the canoe out of the lake. Special place.

Amber is a great host! The house was clean and very comfortable for a group of 4. Amber went above and beyond even letting us use a personal cooler for our lunches during the day while fishing. A couple of our guys did complain about how uncomfortable a couple of the beds where. But they made it work. Overall a great experience and again Amber is an exceptional host! We will be back.

Melissa's place is beautiful, right on the Kenai River in Soldotna and just like in the pictures. We had a wonderful time as an extended family group fishing and using the place as a base for exploring the area. Lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy the Alaska summer.

We loved this place. It really made our fishing trip top notch. Was in a great location. The river was beautiful and great fishing. The amenities were nice. We loved the fire pit outside by the bank of the river. Would definitely recommend and we hope to go visit again.

Okay, I'm not a great writer and my lack ability with words would require a thesaurus to find the right superlatives to express how much we loved Alicia's place in Soldotna. I guess I should start with peaceful and serene, move to relaxing and enjoyable, and end with the beauty of the surroundings. The beds were comfy and warm. The kitchen had everything we needed and the outside grill worked perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a better placed to end our two week trip around Alaska. Not sure I'll ever be blessed to be able to make another Alaska trip, but if I do, I know where I'd like to stay when on the Kenai peninsula.!
