Our guest space is a 2 BR in-law unit on the downstairs level of our beautiful Alaskan log home. About 20 mins from the Anchorage airport, we are located on the Anchorage Hillside, known for its scenery, great hiking trails (including Flattop Mountain), and fabulous mountain and inlet views. We are minutes from the Old Seward Highway South-bound exit that leads to some of Alaska's best-known tourist hot spots including Girdwood, Seward, and Kenai Peninsula. Family friendly, we welcome children.

Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Top of Our House

This is an apartment on the top floor of our home in Girdwood with views of Alyeska, Fishes Breath, and Maxes Mountains. It is one mile from Alyeska ski resort, and near Virgin Creek Falls. It's a one bedroom with a king bed, full bath, kitchen, TV in the bedroom, and a kitchen table and couch. It is accessible by walking up two flights of stairs on the outside of the house. We live downstairs with a toddler who you will likely hear. Sometimes four wheel drive is needed in heavy snow.

Nestled in a forest of Mountain Hemlocks hundreds of years old, the home is located in a quiet neighborhood only a 5-6 minute walk from the Glen Alps/Flattop Trailhead providing the most direct and easy access to Chugach State Park. There are endless possibilities for hiking, climbing, and skiing from the house. Or, if you prefer to sit and relax and read a book, the view from the deck or living room couch of the Anchorage skyline and Denali/Mt. McKinley is spectacular.
