Cabin is small, cozy and clean. Full bed and single downstairs. Ladder loft has space for 2. dry cabin. No running water or bathroom in cabin but a mermaid outhouse nearby and a summer outdoor hotwater shower and coldwater sink. Shared fire pit. Wood is available,water nearby on property. Please register pets as they require an additional cleaning fee. 1 or 2 pets kept on leash and never left unattended. Please pick up after. TY Close to Kenai River, mtns and coast. Very relaxed and casual here!

The Russian river is 30 minutes, Bings landing is 10 minutes and Skilak Lake road is 5 minutes. All are nearby. Soldotna and Kenai are a short drive away. Alden's Vacation Rental is located on Scout Lake Road in Sterling Alaska. We are in the heart of the best fishing in AK. King, Sockeye, Silver & Pink Salmon. There is also excellent Rainbow trout and Dolly Varden Trout. The world famous Kenai River is just a mile away. This is a very peaceful area with lots of privacy. The Moose River is also only a mile away. The famous Swanson River canoe trails are just down the road. There is a local Pizzeria, restaurants and local taverns with live music.

The closest stay to Skilak lake loop for all of your hiking, fishing and outdoor adventures. Additionally it is the closest stay on this side to the Russian. When your day of Alaskan adventures comes to an end, return, cook dinner in the full kitchen, spend the evening lounging fireside in our outdoor space and finish off with a relaxing soak in the indoor jetted jacuzzi tub.

Sterling Escape - Close to the BEST Kenai fishing!

Really wonderful stay. Comfortable soft bedding, well stocked kitchen, and Tiffany was very proactive in reaching out prior to arrival. Probably the easiest AirBNB as far as finding it, and locking/unlocking the door that we've ever experienced.

Peaceful and secluded, far enough away from town that it is quiet, but close enough for supplies, dining etc. We loved staying at this cabin, very cozy, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the beds and couch was very comfortable. We would absolutely book this stay again!

Great stay. Were Alaskans but still enjoyed the mana moose and her baby calf the first morning. The Loons sounded beautiful and the view was better than advertised.

The night sky is illuminated by vibrant green auroras dancing above the silhouette of dark evergreen trees. Snow blankets the ground, reflecting the ethereal light. The scene captures the enchanting beauty of the Northern Lights, creating a serene, natural ambiance.

We really enjoyed our stay. Fishing close by was what we came for and that's what we got. The house was super comfortable to stay in. While we didn't see any moose we saw signs of them in the yard. Fun!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin overlooking the lake! The views were stunning, with wildlife all around. The location was perfect—close to Soldotna, Homer, and Cooper Landing, making it easy to explore. The cabin itself was fantastic—well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kristin was an outstanding host, responsive and welcoming. Highly recommended.
