Cottage vacation rentals in Stellenbosch

Wir waren bereits zum dritten mal in dieser Ferienwohnung und das sagt in meinen Augen schon vieles aus. Hazel und Christo machen den Aufenthalt jedesmal zu etwas ganz besonderem und ihre Gastfreundschaft ist einfach grandios. Die Ferienwohnung im Landhausstil verfügt über einen Pool zu privaten Nutzung und ist kindergesichert. Zusätzlich gibt es einen HotTub der bei Bedarf angeheizt werden kann. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die perfekte Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen. Die Gegend ist super angenehm, wir haben uns nie unsicher gefühlt. Es sind mehrere Geschäfte und auch Restaurants in 5min mit dem Auto zu erreichen. An die Waterfront braucht man ca. 20min und zur Canal Walk Mall sind es nur knapp 10min. Wir werden mit Sicherheit ein viertes mal kommen.

Highly recommend this spot to anyone wanting to get the full Franschhoek experience. Marlicia, and her husband are gracious hosts, more than accommodating when we needed a spot to park, their place is gorgeous, especially their backyard. The only downside about our stay is that we didn’t have enough time to enough the garden and the pool more. The location is also just a 6 min drive from the Franschhoek wine tram/bus station!

What a Gem of a place on the most beautiful apple farm. The cottage is perfectly positioned to access the most amazing mountain bike trails in the surrounding area. The rooms are spacious and modern, giving you the feeling of luxury, yet still on a farm enjoying the smells and feelings of not being in town. Dwayne and the team were extremely good at communications too and allowed for a seamless stay. Keep it up team, amazing work.

This is a lovely cottage with a peaceful atmosphere and fantastic mountain views. There were a couple of snags during our stay, but the hosts were quick to respond to any needs

What a stunning airbnb. Everything is pristine, designed beautifully, and thoughtful. The garden is so relaxing to sit in and the outdoor patio by the braai is also lovely for nighttime dinners. My husband and I absolutely loved this place and plan to return in the future. It was so peaceful and lovely. The large bath tub and equipped kitchen were also highlights. It is located on the vineyards of a few wine farms and so it was great to walk to Stellenbosch Reserve for a tasting & dinner and also nice to walk along the vines. It felt very peaceful and relaxing.

Very good and central location, beautiful property with a great view of the surrounding mountains, cozy accommodation and helpful hosts. Definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay! Every second of it was incredible. The place felt so homey and cozy—it instantly made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The outdoor area was especially beautiful and added such a peaceful vibe to the whole experience. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making this space special. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

The cottage was fantastic, beautiful setting with great privacy. You have a whole dam to yourself, walk in the vineyards, relax in the wood fire hot tub under the stars. No complaints, but do not plan to cook a lot of meals, the kitchen is small and washup area, we lit a braai outside and that was perfect. Definitely would recommend and return.

The place look exactly like the photos. The surroundung are beautifull and peacefull, perfect for vacation.

I use Airbnb A LOT. I book 3 or 4 places a month & I must say, this is definitely top 5 for me! We felt right at home from the moment we checked in! Jay was a ray of sunshine. Her lovely energy makes you feel like you are meeting an old friend. She took the time to read my profile & seeing that I love plants, she gave me permission to play in her garden the whole week. This was the highlight of my stay. These 2 wholesome beings are such a lovely couple that goes above & beyond to make their guests feel welcome & taken care of! Their caretaker Mr Darlington was friendly, helpful & there whenever l needed his assistance! This home is very comfortable, safe, clean & had everything we needed. It looks even better than the pictures! The outdoor garden is so cosy. You can braai or just chill & enjoy a quiet evening! check out was ofcoz sad, l wish l could’ve stayed longer. Our whole stay was exactly what my little family needed. Would definitely recommend & we plan on staying here again!

Lovely and peaceful with interior space even better than in the photographs. The unit had everything we needed and communication was clear an quick. Good location close to town but away from the crowds. As is clear from the pictures these unites are side-by-side, but they are still very private. (I guess you could have bad luck and a noisy neighbour.) Would definitely recommend.

We spent 3 blissful days Ilah's place. An idyllic location with stunning views of the ocean and the mountain. The house was well maintained and very well equipped. Ilah was responsive and accommodating when we needed to change dates. We do not hesitate in recommending Ilah's place, if you are looking for peace, beauty, ease and a homey feeling.

Its absolutely beautiful! Wish we could've stayed for a week!

Linda is a great host! She made us feel very welcome, gave us loads of travel tips and was on hand if we needed anything. Her place was very conveniently located for our trips around the helderberg basin trips to Cape Town.

The house is sooo cozy and nice interior design! Many details and I felt soo homely, I spent mostly all the time of my staying at Constantia at this home)) Horses stables are also super nice , everyday I went there to meet them ☺️ Good location of the house to walk around, close to few very good supermarket, walking distance to Constantia Uitsing wine yard So, highly recommend this house 👌

This cottage is stunning, it is even better than the photos! There was a complimentary bottle of wine to welcome us as well! The beds were very comfy, and it had every amenity you could wish for. There was also a lovely beach walk along a marked trail. All in all, it was perfect, and I highly recommend a stay here.

Good directions and communication, so it was easy to find. Christelle who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Bo La Motte Farm cottages are ideal for a short stay as the location is close to Franschheok centre, which has great shops and restaurants. We took a 5 minute drive in an Uber into the town in the evening for dinner. The cottage was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. We didn’t use the pool as it was in the shade but say in sun on verandah. We even purchased a bottle of their wine which had been chilling in the fridge.

Wauw! Boek dit verblijf! We verbleven hier 3 nachten met twee kleine kindjes van 2 en 4 en het was perfect! Een prachtig verblijf, de vriendelijkste hosts en een zalig ontbijt. Ze gaven super leuke tips om activiteiten in de buurt te doen. Dit mag je niet missen als je in Stellenbosch wil verblijven!

I loved my stay at Jane and Harry's place. It's spacious and beautiful and the private patio at the back a real bonus. The bed is comfy, ample cupboard space. I appreciated the walk-in shower. And the kitchen. It's close to shops and it's a beautiful area to go for a walk in. Jane and Harry were attentive hosts and I'm looking forward to staying there again.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Sterna. La déconnexion est garantie, nous avons beaucoup aimé nous réveiller chaque matin entourées de chevaux et de chèvres, avec une très belle vue sur les montagnes ! Le cottage est à seulement quelques minutes en voiture du centre de Franschhoek, ce qui est très pratique.

We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful stay at Jenny’s. The cottage is a little slice of heaven - beautifully furnished with meticulous attention to detail. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and the view of lush greenery as the morning sunlight streamed. Jenny was the perfect host and made us feel right at home. We already miss her highly addictive weekly cinnamon buns :-) Thank you so much Jenny for being so wonderful and the best holiday, we can’t wait to be back!

Lesley and her husband Linden are a lovely couple and just the most caring hosts anyone could wish for! They reside on the property and are very hands on and always available should the need arise, yet the cottage is very private and secure with it's own and very beautiful outside spaces. Our family spent a week over Christmas in this beautiful cottage. It's fully equipped for self-catering and so much care is taken in every detail! Christmas decorations, fresh fruit and flowers blew us away upon arrival! The cottage is managed with pride and SO much love! This is a very special address and we'd love to visit again. Thank you again beautiful people!

Our stay at Grant's place was perfect. Needed a spot nearby the start of the Two Oceans and this was perfect. Place was just what we needed. Grant is a great host and extremely accommodating. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend Grant's place.
