Wildekrans is absolutely beautiful. The gardens are spectacular, and the cottage is beautifully and tastefully designed and decorated. The two bedrooms are nicely private from each other with en-suite bathrooms in both, with the shared kitchen in between. It is delightful sitting on the porch looking out onto the gardens and mountain vistas ahead, either with morning coffee or an evening drink. The swimming pool was surprisingly warm and inviting. Everything we needed we had! We will definitely be back!

Excellent accommodation for 4 in a perfect location for walking to Franschoek main St. All very clean and plenty of kitchen equipment and crockery. The property is tucked behind the owners' house on Van Wuk St and isn't obvious. It is up a drive behind two wrought iron gates. A sign on the gates saying Jonquil Cottage would have helped no end.

What a beautiful spot! A real home away from home with everything so carefully thought of! A stones throw from the hustle of the Main Street but quiet and peaceful on a little close! Dalena has thought of every single detail, and we had a beautiful stay! A very warm and personal welcome and spectacular views of the beautiful surrounding mountains! Perfect peaceful location. Lovely rooms and great outdoor spaces. The host recommended Boschendal just down the road for the night market, which was awesome.

Perfect quiet spot, lovely stay, extremely accommodating host! My husband was hurt during our time away, and we were offered an additional night at no charge, my first time ever!

It's a small but nice place with 'soul' and a beautiful terrace with fireplace. It's located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The walking distance to the beach is short but you need to cross a road with some traffic. Marinda is a great host and you need to try her lovely self-made sweets :-)

A Quiet, sunny cottage in their yard. Parking beside cottage, all very easy. Durbanville is a lovely town with everything you need including plenty of wineries.

This place is a gem ‘ home away from home Judy and husband are amazing hosts as they go far and beyond to make your stay memorable. This place has everything u need and more ‘ the pool is always clean and ready the bbq area stocked up all u need is your meat ‘ it even has a toilet meaning u just seat in the bar area and enjoy the afternoon. There’s a big cooler box to borrow which makes it handy for beach days. It’s so private and quiet and also near the motorways so easy to get anywhere’ the electric gates make it easier and safer to just stay in your car until u enter the premises. 15-20min from the airport’ 5 min away from zone fitness gym . thank u guys for making my month stay amazing and thank you for being so kind to my friends and family ’ I will most definitely be coming and recommending your place to all my friends 🙏🏾

This gem exceeded all expectations! Nestled in a prime location with seamless access to Stellenbosch, Gordons Bay, and Strand, the convenience factor alone makes it worth booking. Chantelle's attention to detail shines through in the thoughtful extras provided throughout the home, elevating our stay from good to exceptional. The kitchen is well-equipped for those who enjoy cooking while traveling. What truly sets this property apart is how it combines practical convenience with genuine comfort. It serves as an ideal base for exploring surrounding towns, while providing a serene retreat at day's end. We'll definitely be back :)

We spent two nights only but enjoyed our time very much. It was spacious enough for the two of us, super cozy and comfy, everything available to prepare a simple dinner, wifi to get some work done, hot shower after a hike (or pool to cool down) and lovely garden and patio to relax with a glass of wine. Safe car parking included, fan was provided,… we were more than satisfied.

Absolutely stunning views, lying on the very comfortable bed with the doors open and watching the colours of the sunrise was just magical.

The place was a perfect location for my needs. I was able to walk to the local supermarket and stock up on some essentials for my 5 day stay. The best part were the hosts. They were more than accommodating and made me feel welcomed and taken care of. If their place is free the next time I’m in the area, I will gladly stay again.

My fiancé and I had a brilliant stay here. As one always says, the photos don’t do it justice, well this was really the case here. The space was immaculately clean and spacious with all the amenities we could have possibly hoped for. Communication with host was brilliant, they were warm and welcoming and went above and beyond. The location is also great and only a 10 minute drive from the most beautiful wine farms Stellenbosch has to offer. Would definitely be back if we visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful accommodation! From the moment we arrived, Jude and Theunis gave us the warmest welcome and made us feel right at home. They provided us with really nice family recommendations for the area, which made our trip even more special. The view from the accommodation is absolutely stunning, and it’s the perfect place for couples looking for a relaxing getaway. While the road runs directly past the property and can sometimes be a bit noisy, it didn’t disturb our sleep at all. Overall, a very nice experience with a truly kind and welcoming hosts.

This is a wonderful stay for 3 people, in a beautiful garden with private access. The house is in a villa area with guarded barrier by the main road. Practical space with everything you need and nice garden seat and sunbeds. From here, quick access to shops, coast, airport and inland.

This accommodation was truly a home away from home. It was stocked with coffee, tea, dish, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, bathing soaps. all utensils with more than adequate including outside barbecue equipment. The pool was easy to operate and keep clean on a daily. everything was fully modern and accommodating ,love this place.
