Beach house vacation rentals in St. John

Lovely stay - home is super private yet just a few minutes from downtown Cruz Bay. The deck is large and very comfortable and is a great place to relax and take in the sunsets. Great place for 2 couples, clean comfortable and very welcoming. Would be delighted to have the opportunity to stay again. You will want a jeep to access.

I highly recommend Rosanne's home. Tiffany, a member of the Anteres crew, met us in town after picking up our jeep rentals. We followed her to the house. Super welcoming and answered all of our questions. Casa Del Palmas was in pristine condition and beautifully decorated. Rosanne has put great effort and thought into decorating and stocking her entire home from top to bottom with everything you will possibly need for a perfect vacation. The amazingly beautiful views off the back porches will be greatly missed.

We had a wonderful stay at Meritage house! The layout was spacious with beautiful views - better than the photos in all regards. A perfect house for a multigenerational trip - we had grandparents, parents, and teens (6 people). Location was very convenient. We had a few minor issues that arose and Linda and Abby coordinated quickly to address them. Highly recommend!

I don’t know where to start.. this Airbnb was the greatest I’ve personally stayed at. Very convenient, within walking distance from Cruz Bay & all the main restaurants & bars. Also, a whole market right next door. Comfort and cleanliness was an A+ with everything you need, including washer/dryer, stove, utensils & even some sunscreen & beers! The best part about the room..Tempur-pedic bed! I’ve never had a better experience in any hotel or AirBnB. Highly recommend to anyone. We’ll be back for sure!

This is a neat little spot. we stayed in 3 places over both STT and STJ. This last leg we wanted something with crashing waves. It was great. there were some vacations rental guests next door that were rude and smoked quite a bit even though they weren't suppose to. No fault of either property manager managing our places. This is why I didn't reduce the number of ratings. I'm in property management must and understand outside factors. Note, this is not a beach you will want to swim from. It's teaming with sea creatures and this includes urchins. If you love to explore tide pools, theire right outside. You will enjoy staying here and its very convenient to town without the dust and noise!

Beautiful home right by the coast. You cannot beat the view from the balcony in the morning, very calm and quite as well. About a 5 minute drive into town so very convenient. Make sure you rent a jeep or an AWD car because the hills are no joke. The host are wonderful and gave us some top notch recommendations as well for our stay. We will definitely be back!

This property is exactly as pictured and beautiful with new furnishings and decor. Nora has even created some of the art in the home. Nora is helpful, picked us up and dropped us off from the ferry and offered rides and a beach day. She’s a wealth of information and extremely helpful and kind.

The location was amazing. Easy to access Cruz Bay and all the North Beaches. Can’t beat waking up each morning and enjoying our near private beach. The villa was spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Some other villas were still being restored in the area but no construction noise or inconvenience. David was very receptive both before and while we were on property. Amber always responded quickly to travel advice and anything else I came up with. Would stay again and recommend to others - can’t beat ocean front location and convenience to town with private secluded feel. Thank you Amber! And thank you David for your assistance as well!

We had a great stay at Villa Amerigo. It is located on a hillside overlooking the town and bay. The property is well maintained and the views are amazing. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the sunset every night. The place has everything you need. Even had coolers and beach chairs we could use when we went to the beach. I particularly liked the location. It was not right in town but yet close enough that you could walk to all the stores, restaurants, and bars in town if you wanted. I have to warn you though that pocket money lane is a steep hill and is a bit of a workout walking back up the hill. Also, there is a very short stretch that you have to walk on the side of Rte10. We didn't mind but wouldn't recommend doing with kids. We walked down town a couple times and one morning even walked to Salomon and Honeymoon beach from the Villa. Great place, great host, would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Tua. The property felt so secluded by all the surrounding plants and trees but we loved how conveniently located it was to restaurants and a grocery store that we could walk to. The inside spaces were very comfortable and we enjoyed the screened in porch area with the Weber grill for cooking. James was very responsive host and helpful during our stay.

Beautiful, clean, eclectic villa in a great location!! Host representative met us at check in and walked us through everything. House was super clean and the view was great. Definitely want to arrive during daylight as the driveway is a little tricky the guest time up. Also, recommend 4 wheel drive vehicle. Having the beach chairs and cooler was a great addition for our adventures. Location is great for beaches and islands exploring. Was a great place to spend our 25th wedding anniversary:)

Star villa was a great find in an amazing location (5-10 min walk into town) on St. John. Bob and Marlene were out of town during our stay but Mike took amazing care of us the whole week. The AC in the bedrooms was amazing after long days at the beach. The pool is large, clean and perfect for cooling off after hot days. The view from the villa porch was amazing. I definitely recommend renting a jeep or some other 4 wheel drive car to terrain the steep hills and rough roads on the island. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing a well rounded place to stay in beautiful St. John and the amazing hosts (and Mike) were the icing on the cake!

I really don’t want to write this review for fear this villa will never be available when I want to come back but… Villa Capiz hands down the best choice we could have made for our honeymoon trip. This Villa has it all from a extremely well stocked kitchen (minus food and drink) to comfortable furniture inside and out including the beds, there are coolers beach chairs/towels, drinkable water from the faucet and so much more. The pool and hot tub clean and inviting. We spent our mornings and nights in the hot tub overlooking one of the most majestic views you will ever see in your life, I promise you the pictures you’re looking at for it, although great, do not do this place or the view justice. The Villa is also completely private to the point you feel your the only ones on the mountain. Even on a rainy day the views are amazing. We loved the Villa so much that most of our stay on the island was spent here. Do not look any further you found your dream place right here.

This location is ridiculously beautiful, and our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful-they met us in Cruise Bay to escort us to the home which was very helpful to first timers to St. John. We loved that it was not a resort which allowed us to explore the island's restaurants, beaches, and roads which were extremely fun to drive (if you're up for an adventure which we were:) before returning to a home with views better than the tourist meccas. The house is supplied with sun screen, bug balm, beach chairs, snorkeling stuff, umbrellas, towels and everything else you need to do all the St. Johns stuff!

Ross and Eve are great hosts! It was our first time in St John so they took time to meet with us online and share information and tips to make our stay better. The condo is very welcoming and beautifully decorated. Beds are super comfortable and the place is squeaky clean. PERFECT location for anywhere you want to go on the island. We recommend Love City Tacos just up the street and Johnny Lime in Coral Bay for great casual dining. The side streets and condos in the neighborhood are not well marked so make sure you watch Eve’s video before you go! We didn’t have phone service or GPS so had a tough time finding the place the first time. My only disappointment is that my husband did all the driving and wouldn’t let me practice driving on the left side of the road! 😊

The house and property were absolutely incredible. The view was amazing, especially at sunrise where we could see for miles and miles offshore. The location about 10 minutes outside of Coral Bay was perfect with easy access to restaurants and beaches. We would absolutely love to stay here again!

Amazingly beautiful home. Loved that there were screens and you could open up all doors and windows and enjoy the breeze day and night. Very comfortable, clean, quiet and private. Amazing views in every direction, beautiful plants on property.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is incredible; the property even better. Super clean, peaceful, fantastic views everywhere you turn. The property is very private and set back a good bit from the road, but manages to not feel too remote. Other homes are visible yet we felt we were in our own world. Definitely need a Jeep or SUV to get to the property (and generally for STJ) - I would not walk anywhere from the home as the roads are very narrow and very unsafe for walkers. If we're lucky enough to get back to STJ, we'd absolutely look to stay here again!

Jackie was always very responsive with our questions leading up to the stay. Before arrival Tammy her PM reached out and was very helpful. Once we arrived we immediately felt at home. It was perfect and exactly what we needed. It was clean and the views from the wraparound porch is stunning. We are already planning next year's trip and will stay at Jackie's home again.

Lynn’s place was absolute paradise. Beautiful clean space with gorgeous ocean views. The amenities were exceptional. Comfy beds, great kitchen, everything was great. Plus very close to town and the market.

We were lucky enough to find this listing after being very unhappy with our first airbnb. The view was incredible. The 2nd floor unit was immaculate when we arrived. There was an issue with the refrigerator when we arrived due to the power outages that day(not the property's fault at all), and Brenda had a brand new fridge at the property within an hour. The bedroom area was huge, and the king-sized mattress was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was very nice and well-equipped and perfect for preparing meals. There is a coffee pot, a kureg, and a blender. The bathroom and shower were very clean with excellent water pressure and consistent hot water. The gas/charcoal grill on the deck was a huge bonus!! The hot tub was a fantastic way to wind down at the end of the day. We will definitely try to book this property again when we return to St John. This property literally saved our vacation. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

Helen's place is truly a slice of paradise. the morning views of sunrise were second to none, and we had plenty of private space for both my husband and I as well as my dad. We definitely needed the 4 wheel drive to get up to the house, but it was so worth it. Super close to private beaches, good food down in the bay. We would happily stay here again any time. thank you!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. Stunning views with beautiful landscaping. We loved seeing the hermit crabs and hummingbirds. The house is was very comfortable and clean. We especially appreciated the organized kitchen. The only thing I wish I could change would be to stay longer. I hope we can come back again.

Staying at this place worked out better than we could have hoped. The pictures do not do the place justice. It is clean, well-kept, and very comfortable for groups up to 6-8. The washer/dryer in-unit and FREE PARKING are huge when going to St. John. Errin was also very responsive. The listing said there would be a hairdryer, and when we couldn't find it our local host, Enid, came by with a new one in less than 10 minutes. The location is less than 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal (passenger and car), so the location on the AirBNB map isn't correct. It is right in the heart of Cruz Bay. To get to shops/restaurants/VI National Park Visitors Center there is no need for a car. The car is useful if you want to explore the beaches or the east side of the island, but theoretically you could get to all the main tourist beaches using taxis. Either way, having a dedicated parking space is a huge perk (get a Jeep). We would absolutely stay here again! Thanks for a great trip!
