Pet-friendly vacation rentals in St. John

This triplex, that amounts to a five bedroom, 4 bathroom house worked exceptionally well to accommodate my three friends and me…All appliances worked well and we literally did not have any problems whatsoever … it is a Very safe location way up in the mountain; so safe was it that we never had to be concerned about locking the doors, day or night… I recommend this location without reservation! I’ve stayed at a variety of Airbnb properties in St Thomas and Haagensen House is my favorite for its uniqueness and privacy. The property manager, Harold, met me near the airport to ensure I found my way - I encourage future renters to do the same as nav systems can be spotty on the island. The decor was refreshing and nailed the old town vibe of Charlotte Amalie - I loved the colors and wood details throughout. The entry garden is breathtaking and the expansive patio overlooking the water was such a pleasant surprise - I couldn’t believe it was all mine. The AC in the bedrooms worked well and at night, there was a nice breeze if you kept the doors open in the main space. The hosts are the NICEST people!! I travel with my small dog and finding dog friendly accommodations in STT is very difficult. We were welcomed with open arms. They were so thoughtful, following up to make sure we were settled okay and didn’t need anything. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in St. John. Isa was so friendly and welcoming, always offering helpful recommendations and suggestions. She always made sure we had everything we need. Her home is beautiful and was the perfect place to stay on the island. The place was peaceful and her artwork was stunning. We would absolutely come back and stay here again. Thanks Isa!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this house. It exceeded our expectations, and the house was in excellent condition. The morning coffee on the patio was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We loved the secluded location of the house, but it was still just a short drive to the beaches, restaurants, and stores. Baron was an amazing host who even gave us some mango and coconuts from his backyard. The three AC units in the house were a huge plus, and the fully stocked kitchen was a great convenience. We would love to return to the USVI and stay here again. 10/10.

Just wow!!! We’ve been coming to the islands for about 30 years, mostly staying in St. John… but the views from this villa were the best we have ever had! The villa was just extremely practical and homey! The king beds and cold AC helped us to recover from long days of hikes, snorkels, beaches, and shopping! The decor was so nice and we loved the live plants and orchids! We enjoyed the huge tv as we watched the college World Series in the evenings. The breezes through the villa were very relaxing! We will plan to come again! Thanks Michael for being so helpful, attentive, and quick to respond!

Absolutely beautiful views! The beds were comfortable and it was stocked with beach towels. There aren’t really any food options within walking distance so would recommend a trip to the grocery store which we did and the kitchen was well stocked. An important note is that during carnival the music does travel all the way up the mountain so it’s still quite loud in the main bedroom but that’s obviously only time of year specific and we had an excellent view of the fireworks!

This place was amazing. It was equipped with everything you need for your beach getaway. The pool was nice. The panoramic views were breathtaking. Plenty of privacy. I would recommend renting a bronco or a jeep while on the island it's very mountainous. especially getting to this house but you won't have any issues finding it. Also they drive in the left side of the road here so stay to the left! We decided to add a day to our stay and the host were quick to respond. lots of wildlife around the area iguana, deer, goats, and chickens. overall this place was well worth the price and we will be back.

Place was great! Easy to find and Theresa helped me w/ the door code in a pinch (my fault not reading the instructions carefully 🫣).

This was a great play to stay with a really good layout. Nice to have two bedrooms on the same floor for a younger child, but then a downstairs room and game room for the older kids. Would definitely recommend this place! Very friendly staff as well!

Absolutely Perfect Stay at Just Peachy! Our stay at Just Peachy in St. John was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the mountains and ocean—it truly felt like paradise. The villa itself was immaculate, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Melissa, our host, was phenomenal! She was incredibly responsive, always just a message away, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Whether it was providing great local recommendations, answering any questions we had, or simply ensuring we felt at home, her hospitality was unmatched. Waking up to breathtaking sunrises, lounging on the patio with the cool island breeze, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings made this trip unforgettable. This house is in a great location at the top of the hill. Feels like a secret paradise get away with breathtaking views but conveniently close to down town. Yes air in the main living space would be nice, but we found air conditioning to be extremely rare on the island. The air in the bedrooms was wonderful. Washer and dryer were a nice bonus. Never had a problem with power, WiFi or water supply while there. Few locks and screens need repair which I alerted the owner to so they can be addressed for the next tenant, but did not impede our stay. We were Overall very pleased with the home. Pictures are very accurate!

We are an incredible stay at the Hills. The property was exactly as described, beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean with every amenity. The views were amazing. The staff was very helpful in arranging for grocery delivery... We will definitely return.

Kim, was so fabulous of making sure we had every thing needed including an information packet, which was so informative, and then some. Kim met us upon arrival and gave us a tour and filled us in on all necessary information. She had a gift basket prepared upon arrival as well. If we had any questions and concerns she was Johnny on the spot. We had a great trip and appreciate Kim's island hospitality.

My husband and I spent 5 days at Susan's beautiful guest house and loved every minute of it! Susan's home was close enough to Cruz Bay to make it a quick drive to restaurants, the national park, shopping, ferry dock, markets, gas, etc. but far enough away for peace and tranquility. And the view of Cruz Bay was beautiful. The house was spotless and furnished with everything we needed for our stay. The furnishings were great quality and the bed was comfortable! I loved the outdoor showers , the gardens and beautiful patios with their archways and shell designs. Susan also provided beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler which we were so grateful for and used everyday! And best of all, Susan was so sweet to answer any questions we had and to offer suggestions of places we would enjoy exploring throughout our stay. We would 100% stay here again and would give her 10 stars if we could!

From check-in to check out, the process was easy and seamless. Love the location as it was an easy eight minute drive from downtown Cruise Bay. It was very private and safe feeling with spectacular views. The outdoor showers were a great touch and we enjoyed the pool. Joy was a very responsive communicator and quick to be as accommodating as possible to our needs. Would certainly book again.

Kim was amazing. Greeted us with a basket of goodies, gave great recommendations and let us know everything we needed to know about our stay there even down to details like putting sugar water on the balcony and you will see a little. yellow and black bird come for it…and it did! The unit had everything we needed. It was close to good restaurants. It was very peaceful. The balcony had a great breeze. We spent early mornings outside with coffee watching the birds and iguanas up in the trees. We saw a doe grazing on the property from up there too in the afternoon. Aiming to go back in the fall!

Had a lovely time here and highly recommend it. The place is in a semi private section near coral bay and you'll have most everything you'll want including a relaxing pool. The host, Lorraine, was really nice and great at communicating and letting us know what to do. Parking can be a bit difficult to get up and down the incline, I'd say better to just leave the car below and walk up. Would gladly stay here again!

If you find yourself in St. John and want a beautiful secluded space with a great view, do not hesitate to stay here! The road getting up to it is extremely steep so if that is hard for you, that would be the only issue. Our jeep made the climb up and down no problem, but it was the steepest road I have ever been on! Other than that, the space is perfect for your homebase. I highly recommend Coffee on the porch for sunrise before your adventure of the day. A great clean space that just feels good to be in.

Kim’s place is AMAZING! The property was pristine! Easy to find, accessible to all the best spots on STJ, and a peaceful retreat after Long Beach days. AMENITIES LEVEL 1000! She has EVERYTHING you can possibly need for your trip and more. Ice trays, cooler, beach chairs, vacuum! As a single mom traveling with 2 kids she made it EASY. The parking area is one of the best! Her pool, beds, and balcony were the perfect retreat. We cooked meals each night and her kitchen had everything I needed to be able to do that. The bedrooms are private and comfortable. The pool and pool area was the perfect end of each day. My kids loved being able to jump in the pool after a good beach sand rinse. The sunsets are beautiful!!!! She was extremely responsive and helpful! We truly felt at home away from home and will be back! The frogs, birds, iguanas, and landscaping was beyond our expectations! Thanks Kim for an amazing stay!

Karen's place was the perfect spot for us to stay for our honeymoon. The view was absolutely breathtaking and honestly topped any other view we saw in the week that we were there. The fact that it was right outside our window was incredible! The space itself was cozy and had everything that we needed. We also were so happy that we stayed on the Coral Bay side of the island as it was peaceful yet still close enough to everything else that we wanted to do. The drive up and down from the house is a little bit jarring at first, but we quickly became accustomed to it. Four-wheel drive is a must! We would not hesitate to stay here again any time we return to St. John!

Hannah’s place was beautiful! The views from the patio were amazing and it was a close drive to many restaurants and beaches.
