Monthly Rentals in Spieden island

This is a very well kept, smaller space that makes walking into town very easy. Checking in was easy, the space was very well stocked, extremely clean, and the t.v. with an electric fireplace was an enjoyable touch. Building noise was fairly low the majority of the time and I did not personally have any issues with it. I spent 3 months here and would strongly recommend Annette as a host! I briefly had some issues with the wifi and Annette was very responsive and proactive in helping get it resolved quickly. Thank you again, Annette for helping me have a place to land for a few months, cheers!

Gloria's Tall house is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay with all the amenities you need. The cozy living area with a wood stove was a great place to be on a stormy winter day. Our favourite place to stay on Pender Island.

It would be impossible to overstate the beauty of this place in the woods. The host described it as paradise, and I can’t help but agree. Although the guest house is very close to the main house, and those looking for seclusion may be disappointed, the host was sensitive to issues of privacy. The house itself is a fascinating work of architecture. Those who are familiar with the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, Antonio Gaudi, and even Mies van der Rohe, will find interesting parallels in this space. (I thought of Mies every night, getting out of the shower in front of a shadeless picture window.) The furniture inside consists of artfully selected pieces chosen especially for the space—beautiful, but not especially comfortable. I was very glad I remembered my hammock and could enjoy the forest and a book while lying under the trees rather than trying to relax inside the house. The location of the rental just above Limekiln State Park and West Side Preserve is ideal for hikers.

Ann and her family are the best hosts!! This place has a perfect location. I would recommend it!! And Elmo... he made us feel at home!! He's the best!!
