Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Southern California

Nicole is a very friendly and responsive host. Her place will make you feel right at home! Right when my friends and I walked in, we were in awe with how gorgeous it was! Has everything to make you feel right at home! Very nice decor, views, and comfortable beds! Would recommend anyone to stay here, and would definitely stay again if I happen to be in the area.

Ellen was a tremendous host! Extremely responsive and helpful with any inquiries. The home was as advertised, and it was cozy and accommodating and just what we needed. We traveled to San Diego for work and family visits with our pup, and the house was our home base and work space. The yard offered a space for our pup and for us to stretch our legs. And there was a comfortable and dedicated work area which made WFH easy. Lastly, it was unfortunate that there was an issue with the hot tub just prior to our arrival. BUT, Ellen resolved the issue quickly and had a replacement ready the next day. We greatly appreciated the effort and quick turn around. It spoke to how much attention she paid to the site and the guests experience.

It is located in a beautiful neighborhood. The backyard was peaceful, and my dog loved laying in the back while we lounged. There were no loud noises which was a plus for our dog who has anxiety. The area is safe and had many areas to walk my dog. Everything was clean. The driveway is small, but we were able to park our 4Runner in the driveway with no problem. It was a wonderful stay.

We traveled from SoCal for spring break and had wonderful time at Greg’s place. The home was walkable to downtown and was close to the beautiful winery valley. Overall the stay was very good.

The check-in process was smooth, and the owners are friendly and communicative. They kindly allowed us an early check-in. The house is conveniently located near the main attractions and shopping. We enjoyed staying at this property. A few things to note: be aware there is no washer/dryer on-site. We did notice that in the listing, but thought we’d mention it in case other potential guests miss that. The kitchen was missing a few essential cooking items (pizza pan, pizza cutter) and condiments (cooking spray). We could have used more towels and blankets, but were grateful for the beach towels provided! A little house manual listing the nearest coffee and pizza places would be helpful!

Great, relaxing stay. Close to trails, coffee, grocery, and lake. It was nice to find a place that you can come back to after a morning hike, have lunch and rest, and get back out to another hike. Comfy bed, warm home, and relaxing.

This is a beautiful private retreat in the heart of Atwater. That is was also dog and family friendly was such a huge bonus. We needed a place to stay near our home while our floors were being refinished. And this place was wonderful! We were able to walk to multiple restaurants and coffee shops. We’d had a slight issue with the AC on the first night, but Eloísa and her crew were very responsive and the issue was resolved within hours. She also gave us a slight credit for our trouble. The spaces are well proportioned and it feels like a home that folks live in. Clean, bright and functional! Big tables to play games at and plenty of places to unwind. The sofa has seen better days but the master bedroom mattress is divine! Definitely going to recommend her place to friends and family visiting from out of town.

We had a wonderful stay for three nights. The host was incredibly helpful, providing clear check-in instructions. The property was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated, with a cozy atmosphere. The bed was comfortable. The location was perfect, offering peace and quiet while being close to stores and restaurants at walking distance. Overall, the experience was seamless and enjoyable, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I think the cleaners forgot to push trash bags out so I suggest that’s checked before people check in. Also, a trash can in the bathroom and a portable heater in the living room would be ideal. We had to take our trash downstairs several times and it’s very cold on the first floor. We look forward to staying at one of Olga’s Airbnb’s in the future.

I felt safe walking around at night in this neighborhood. The host always replied very quickly and was helpful. Recommended!

Maxime's apartment was incredible, extremely clean and with wonderful amenities in the building. I do appreciated the last minute accommodations at such a late hour. Downtown LA is not the best area in general but Maxime's apartment is a little piece of heaven amongst the chaos of downtown area.

I had an amazing stay at this property! The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk to the beach, shops, and a great selection of restaurants. The space itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. Everything felt fresh and inviting from the moment I arrived. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made it so easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep after a day of exploring. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect beach getaway!

This apartment is one of the most comfortable and affordable airbnbs I’ve been, excluding the area and city it’s in. Inside of the airbnb was very clean, quiet, and easy access. Compound Capital was very quick to respond, nice, respectful, and instructions were very clear.

Georgetta was very pleasant and answered very quickly. Place is close to all the places we wanted to visit. Will book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spot. My daughter, partner and I loved the heated pool, hot tub, ping pong table and the rest of the elegant yard with a stunning view of San Jacinto Mountains. At night, we enjoyed the fire pit while looking at the night sky. The kitchen was very well stocked with all manner of gadgets and we enjoyed cooking and grilling nearly all of our meals. Shane communicated very clearly and promptly addressed a small maintenance issue that came up. Highly recommend!

Hidden Gem in Sugarloaf! Would definitely stay here again. Quaint neighborhood, quiet, and great for morning walks with the dog. You even might encounter a wild Donkey here or there. 15 min to all Big Bear has to offer. Walking distance to the country market and a local bar.

It was very cozy and had the necessary utilities such as pans, spatulas, wine glasses, cups, plates and the fire pit worked easily and perfectly I would definitely book again for a little peaceful getaway

Thank you Dena, my family and I had an amazing weekend at the cabin, kids were entertained with all the toys and games inside. It did surprise up with snow so we got to use the sleds outside as well. The dogs had a great time too exploring the area. We will definitely book again. And that was very cool of you to decorate for my wife’s birthday. When it warms up we’re gonna use those lake passes you have.

My family had an absolutely wonderful time here! We cooked up great meals in a kitchen that had everything we needed and the rooms were warm and cozy. The common area upstairs is filled with so much light and great views all around, we couldn't have been happier! Thank you Amy!

My husband and I enjoyed a nice little getaway at Astrid’s cabin. The house has a lot of character with a fun, cozy vibe. It felt private but is also just a quick drive away from town. The bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds, and the upstairs loft is a great place to hangout and play board games or listen to records. The living room is also a nice to place to relax and watch tv. The house was very clean and contained all listed amenities. The hot tub was a lovely bonus, especially after a long day of hiking. It was clean, and the water was already set to a perfect temperature. It’s a great place to take in the beautiful surroundings. Astrid was very responsive, quick to answer any questions we had. She made us feel right at home. We look forward to coming back in the future with our kids and would certainly recommend her place to friends.

absolutely loved our stay at The Daydream Cabin! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless and beautifully set up. The location was peaceful, tucked into a quiet cul-de-sac just minutes from Lake Gregory, and the space itself had everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen (with cooking basics, coffee makers, BBQ tools) to cozy outdoor seating and a fire pit we really enjoyed in the evenings. The smart lock and security cameras added peace of mind, and we appreciated how easy self check-in was. Renee and Jason were incredible hosts—kind, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful. We always make sure to leave an Airbnb the way we found it, and this one made that easy because it was so well cared for. We’ll definitely be recommending this place and would love to return again. Thank you both for making it such a special experience!
