Vacation rentals with a kayak in Southern California

This place was great for a girls weekend. Shops and restaurants right across the street. Main busy street of Ocean Beach and the beach itself was a 10 min walk. Ramona was super nice and accommodating. The pull out sofa in one of the bedrooms was very uncomfortable for one of the guests though so they ended up sleeping on the couch which was better. Would stay here again and again!

We had an amazing stay in Oceanside with our family of five! The home was perfect for a fun and relaxing getaway. The pool was a definite highlight—clean, inviting, and great for both kids and adults. We also really appreciated all the games available, which made for some great family bonding time. The decor was beautiful and full of original touches that made the space feel truly special. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Just wow, the outside space here was amazing. We loved the evening fire and sitting in the hot tub in the evening. House had everything you could think off. Real bonus being able to walk into town for a drink and some good food. Highly recommend this place.

This is such a stunning place and perfect for large families. 360 views and beautiful sunsets. Lots to do at the house: sandy beach area with volleyball and firepit, fishing off the dock and kayaks. The hot tub is great and there’s so much space at the house. Reyna is great and super helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay again!

Toms place was great for us. They put great detail into their guide to help with everything you can think of. I appreciated that everything we interacted with was high quality and well maintained.

Had a great time staying here. Very peaceful neighborhood. Lots of fun things to do close by.

Sherry’s house had everything we could need, and more! I wish I would have known beforehand, I could have packed much less! There were lots of extra touches, even fresh ground coffee provided and plenty of laundry detergent for us to use. We really appreciated having anything we could need there. Went to the grocery store and prepared most all of our meals there. We really enjoyed the short drive to Sunset Cliffs each night to enjoy the sunset. I would definitely recommend having a rental car but there are some places several blocks away.

Had a wonderful stay! The place is very well stocked and designed. The lake is an easy walk away. Would come back!

A beautiful location. The landscaping was well designed and continued a large variety of plants and trees. That along with a couple of fountains really made the place relaxing. Very little noise and good privacy.

Our stay in Big Bear at Jon's cottage was nothing short of perfect for a work/play trip. The house is super comfortable and highly functional. We deeply appreciated all the amenities such as the bikes, ping pong, hot tub, snacks, coffee, full spice rack, ice in the freezer, great Wifi, and central heating. The location is great being close to the ski areas and the three grocery stores in town. Our dog loved spending time on the deck looking for squirrels and chipmunks. We look forward to returning for another family trip someday.

We are already considering another stay when time allows. Dahabada was extremely quick in helping with any issues we had, going above and beyond to make us happy and comfortable. The location is a dream for anyone that loves nature.

Such a great location. And very lovely cottage. Perfect for two adults, two kids and our dog. Cheryl was responsive and friendly. Can’t wait to stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage as a young family - great location, cute home that feels like grandma’s house in a very endearing way, and is filled with family-friendly toys, beach accessories, movies, etc. J-me was so responsive and welcoming.

We had an incredible stay at Dawn's home in Mission Beach. She was extremely responsive before and during our stay when we had a question or needed help. The location of her home was perfectly situated for our family- closer to the bay side but only a block or so away from the ocean side. The included toys, games, and books were amazing for our seven year old. We all enjoyed a great bike ride around the bay, too! The kitchen had lots of extra small appliances and amenities that made it easy to cook many meals during our stay. The outdoor firepit and patio made for relaxing evenings with a view of the Sea World fireworks. In the listing, Dawn mentions that the garage is a tight fit for larger vehicles. Parking our minivan was very tight so we appreciated Dawn's heads up that we could keep the garage door open so that we didn't need to use street parking.

We had a great time! And the place was wonderful as were Robert and Lynn! Very helpful and responsive. There place is awesome. Exactly what we need for our little weekend get away.

This cabin is very nice and is very reasonably priced. It was very kid friendly with the provided baby gates to keep the little ones off of the stairs and also the outside jungle gym and play room. We were visiting to participate in a Spartan race and this cabin was about a 5 minute drive to the venue. Paul, the host is very responsive and is the instructions and rules are very clear and reasonable. We’ll definitely be staying at this cabin again in the future.

We loved staying here at this cabin. Excellent location close to the lake and town. Really comfortable beds and couch in the living room. The deck was very nice to relax on and the jacuzzi as well. My favorite part was the dock access and kayak. The host communicated to make sure we were comfortable and we were very.

Dream come true! Tamara suggested we listen to music from the 1930s-40s, and that really sealed the ambience. I've always wanted to take a vacation to the past, and I did! Along with comfortable beds, bathrooms, etc. Lots of extra touches. Loved every second! Would highly recommend!

This place was the best. If you are looking for a place on the lake with a dock. This is it!. Cory was great! This place was so much fun. We played all day on the dock swimming and fishing. Can't wait too go back!!!

This is probably one of the best prepared Airbnb‘s that I have stayed in. It was clean. It has everything you need and more for your stay great location. Only complaint we had was the shampoo, conditioners and land soaps were not in all the bathrooms or filled and a couple of our people didn’t bring stuff based on that they thought this would be there. This was a very small complaint as to all the wonderful features this house has.
