Aparthotel vacation rentals in Southern California

Stayed at the Broadlind Hotel in mid April 2022 with my boyfriend. Beautiful room and awesome location. Room specs: comfortable queen sized bed, a small desk, a five drawer dresser, kitchen area with a microwave, fridge, stove and oven and two full length mirrors in the main room. We had a corner unit so there was lots of light. No elevator in the building as an fyi for heavy luggage. It did get a little noisy at night because it's near restaurants and bars but it wasn't too bad. The communication with the host was excellent. Only thing we requested were extra towels and they were provided right away. No keys are needed - just access codes to enter the hotel and the room itself. There are washers and dryers on the second floor as well as an adorable common room and patio. There is a grocery store/market right across the street as well as plenty of coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Our favorite two local spots were the Blind Donkey (a bar and they have a few arcade games and a photo booth) and the Breakfast Bar for brunch. Another spot a little further is Rose Park on the Pine, 800 Pine Ave. It's a coffee shop during the day and serves dinner at night. If you like seafood, check if they are serving local shrimp from TransparentSea Shrimp Farm - delicious shrimp! Thank you Broadlind Hotel!

Decent place. Overpriced, but so is everything right now so I didn’t hold it against the place, plus I booked pretty last min. Only complaint is the bathroom was super tiny and there was that old building smell, but it wasn’t terrible. Communication was fantastic. My daughter even accidentally locked us out of the bathroom and a woman who lives in the building was there in just a few min to help us out. I recommend.

Beautiful historical hotel was amazing. Close to the ocean, restaurants and shops!

Perfect location for a business meeting at the LA Convention Center or sporting event at the Crypto Center. The Condo is beautiful and secure; VERY CLEAN. Large bathrooms, great size bedrooms, living and kitchen space is plenty in this 2 bedroom condo for 4-5 people. There is plenty of parking nearby for your car or rental. Freeway access is within 7-10 min drive. Traffic wasn't too crazy. Groceries, gas and restaurants everywhere close by. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We recommend this condo for any downtown LA stays.

Quiet and clean

This was a great stay for the price. Its a Wyndham time share property, so if you have ever stayed at one before, you probably know what the experience will be like. The amenities were great. As noted by others, the room is pretty small. I had to rearrange furniture to use the sofa bed. And the door wedges on the sofa before opening all the way. A bit cramped but certainly not unworkable. The only complaint I have is that the mattress pad on the sofa bed is not thick enough to be comfortable for adults. Imagine a plywood box with a 2" foam pad and that will give you an idea. I ended up putting the course cushion on top of the pad which were then too spongy, but the lesser of the two evils. Beyond that, the room was great. There's a sink in mini fridge. Coffee pot with coffee, toaster oven and I think I remember a microwave, but not totally sure about that one. Extra pillows and bedding in the closet. Iron and ironing board. I've spent a lot more for a whole lot less in Anaheim.

It had everything we needed. It’s a quick 3 minute drive to the beach and close to so many restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops. San Clemente has a very chill, relaxed vibe and you can’t beat it for the price! We will definitely be back!

great place to stay within walking distance of the convention center. quiet which was perfect for days and evenings spent being very social. and so much more space than nearby boutique hotels I've stayed at in the past!

If I'd stay again Good place in good location. Things they could improve: In one room for 4 there should be 4 towels and there was only 2. There is no door in the bathroom shower and all the water comes out. There is a cook in the room but absolutely no usencili, pans, plates or glasses. But they sell them to you. And the refrigerator in my room was throwing water. But everything is fine :)

I am not reviewing the unit I reserved. The host changed from the unit that I reserved at the last minute, but they were communicative, proactive, and accommodating about the change. The unit that they gave me was probably better than what I reserved. It was a whole one-bedroom apartment, with a full-sized kitchen and bathroom. Both the living room and bedroom had smart TVs in them. The furniture and bed were comfortable. The neighborhood wasn't the greatest, but inside the apartment was a good escape, and the location was a short walk to the restaurants and bars on Pine or to the Pike. The beach is also within walking distance. Parking was not easy, but that's to be expected. The people in the apartment attached to this unit often kept their front door open. I felt a little awkward about that, but it was never a real problem. Overall, this was a nice stay, especially for the price. I would definitely stay again.
