Vacation rentals with a fire pit in South Savo

The house is simply unique. The view of the lake is breathtaking and it is great that you are right in the forest. Incredibly beautiful. We felt super comfortable and would have liked to have stayed longer. Kari is very accommodating and even organized a child's life jacket for our daughter at short notice. Thank you! The hot tub and sauna are in top condition and the kitchen is very well furnished. All in all, it was a great, relaxing vacation for us and we didn't miss anything.

Excellent place, greatly decorated and clean, make you feel at home straight away. The view and location is breathtaking. a piece of heaven. great for family and friends. ..the best Sauna experience that I had in Finland so far.

We spent 5 nights at Erik‘s place and it simpley was an amazing time. If you want to enjoy nature and take a break from hectic every day life, this is the right place to go! Also the outdoor sauna was a very cool experience :) 10/10 would recommend!

Aovo’s House is one of my favorite place to stay in Finland. Perfect place in every espect! Will come again soon 😀

The apartment was really clean. Everything was as described. Great steam in the sauna. The car was driven right in front of the door. Arto provided clear instructions with photos, responded to messages promptly. I can highly recommend

Hannu’s place was spacious and located in beautiful, peaceful surroundings — definitely worth the 500 km drive! The view from the living room window was absolutely stunning. The cabin had everything needed for a short or even longer stay. Having hot water, an indoor toilet, and a sauna was a big plus. Our dogs loved running freely in the large yard. Although we couldn’t fully enjoy the lake due to melting ice, there was plenty of equipment available for winter ice skiing and summer activities like fishing and rowing. The nearest shop was about 10 km away and had everything we needed.

We had a pleasant and relaxing stay in the Mökki of Emelia. The place is beautiful and very quiet. We loved the place, the very comfortable Mokki and the sauna with lake views. Rested and disconnected...we enjoyed these moments of tranquility. Thanks to Emelia who is very responsive and allowed us to stay in her pretty and comfortable Mokki. Kitos! Laure and Matthias

Cozy and cozy cottage by the lake. The beds are excellent, both in the cottage and in the barn. Great steam in the wood sauna, the firewood is prestigious. Well-equipped kitchen. Hosts very nice and friendly.

Anniina and Juho are very nice and accommodating hosts. Communication was always straightforward and fast, Anniina inquired about our well-being during our stay and if everything was okay. Juho instructed us on arrival in the use, there was nothing missing! The accommodation itself leaves nothing to be desired!

Gentle steam in maybe the nicest sauna we've been to. 😀 Just the kind of sauna we should be in a 👏Lovely cottage and an atmospheric outhouse - what else does a person need for their weekend 👌 Plus some really quick help with the heater ☺️

Mirva and Timo’s place was prefect for our open-air getaway from the bustling city. Heaps to do and well set up for families. Super peaceful and relaxing environment combined with very friendly and proactive hosts meant nothing was left wanting. We maximised use of the spa and sauna and outdoor activities. Thanks a bunch for a memorable stay ❤️

We had a quiet and relaxing time at the house. Unfortunately, we had a bit of bad luck with our travel date, as it thawed heavily shortly before we arrived and then froze again. The result was a rather demanding journey over heavily icy forest roads. With four-wheel drive, no problem and on site you could do well with spikes. But you think twice about whether you have to go shopping by car or not. After it had snowed again, that was no longer an issue, mind you with four-wheel drive! The house is quietly located directly on the lake. If you are looking for a break from everyday life and relaxation, I can only recommend winter as a travel time. We used the cold days for the sauna and took a few trips to the beautiful frozen lake landscape. Sanna was always easily accessible and provided us with information about the location and everything around it 👍 In terms of amenities, we didn't miss anything and we could imagine coming back 👋👋👋

The cottage is like something out of a fairy tale, really beautiful, and the surroundings are admirable. We had a few accidents, but the host's (Jukka's) proactive, understanding, and progressive actions helped resolve things quickly. Warm recommendation!
