Kanerva has been basking in the evening sun and delighting guests since 2006. The laminated log cabin is located in Mäntyharju, on the shore of crystal-clear Lake Enonvesi, surrounded by magnificent pine forest. The kitchen-living room is perfect for spending leisure time even with a larger group, and the bedrooms are ideal for taking sweet naps during your holiday. The heat-storing Tulikivi fireplace provides an atmospheric experience, and through the windows, you can enjoy magnificent lake views. From the soothing steam of the wood-heated sauna, it's refreshing to dip into the crystal-clear lake to cool off. In summer, morning coffee and dining on the western outdoor terrace are excellent while listening to birdsong and enjoying nature. In the yard, there is a woodshed and a garage for one car with an electric plug connection. Outside, you'll also find a gas grill where you can prepare the best summer delicacies and a separate wood grill where you can cook sausages, pancakes, or even the fish you've caught with your fishing rod. Additionally, various outdoor games can be found at the cottage, with which you can determine who is the most accurate frisbee thrower or Mölkky champion of your group. In summer, you'll find a quality pier at the shore, from which you can take a refreshing swim, and a rowing boat for activities like worm fishing or trips to the Hämeensaari islands. Around the villa, there is diverse forested terrain with pleasant forest road routes and good berry picking areas. For enthusiastic fishermen, fishing permits for the clear and fish-rich Lake Enonvesi protected area are sold at Lahtela Farm. The allergy and pet-free Kanerva is located on a west-facing slope, with a path leading to the shore, from which stairs lead to the pier and the water's edge. Access to the pier is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Please note that our other rental villa, Vanamo, is also located nearby, with partial visibility and audibility between the villas.

Detached house in the countryside

A detached house in the countryside. A peaceful location. Here you can easily stay overnight along the way or spend a vacation. 17 km to the center of Heinävesi, where you will find stores and other necessary services. Two double beds, one of which can be split into two. Bedding and towels are included in the price. In winter, there is the opportunity to go snowmobiling from the yard directly to the Heinävesi snowmobile trails. Good opportunities for outdoor activities. Even a truck can fit in the yard. Hot tub rental is possible for stays of more than 2 nights.

Log cabin on the shore of Lake Saimaa

Hand-carved 100 sqm log cabin built in 1995 on the shores of Lake Saimaa. A peaceful environment just a few minutes' drive from the services of Varkaus city center. The place is well suited for a weekend of relaxation, as well as for a longer stay. Basic amenities and cooking utensils. In connection with the cottage, there is a very spacious wood-fired sauna. The hut in the yard and the barbecue shed are freely available. The cottage is suitable for year-round stays, but in the middle of winter it is worth bringing woolen socks with you :)

Cottage in Pitkäjärvi, Parikkala

The cottage is located near the border zone in Parikkala's Kolmikanta, on the beautiful shore of Pitkäjärvi. The center of Parikkala is about 10 km away. The cottage has a kitchenette, a sleeping alcove with a 2-person bed, and a 1-person bed on the side of the living room. The cottage has a wood-fired sauna. The beach is child-friendly, moving on the water requires a border zone, which can be requested free of charge for the duration of the visit. - Electricity - freezing toilet - car charging facility - 2 SUP boards - Rowing boat

Villa Iltarusko

A lovely 66-square-meter log cabin that has retained the cabin atmosphere, although there is the luxury of electricity and water. The cottage has a large, atmospheric fireplace. There are plenty of board games for rainy days. In summer, the best things are swimming, rowing, splashing around in the lake, sunsets... In winter, from the cottage you can access snowmobile trails, go skiing on the ice and go snowshoeing. You can also see the northern lights from the cabin. The northern lights are most visible in early fall and late winter.

Peaceful and truly unique place to relax and enjoy Finnish nature. This house has been entirely renovated by two local designers and is decorated with subtle French and Finnish influences.
