Apartment in an old school

Apartment at the sheltered end of a former village school. The apartment has a kitchen-living room, an open bedroom, and a bathroom. Sleeps four. Double bed in bedroom and sofa bed in living room. The apartment has a teacher's podium and outdoor stairs, so it is not accessible. The outdoor sauna heats up for an additional fee. The apartment is located in a quiet area, 8km from the center. The rest of the building is for the host's own use. There's room in the yard to hang out and grill, for example. Also great for families with children.

Kaislan Tila

Kaislan Tila is located in the countryside, 22km north of Mikkeli. We live in the main building of the farm and there is a 65m2 separate apartment in the yard. The farm has animals and is surrounded by thousands of lakes in Eastern Finland and forest areas rich in natural resources. The nearby lake offers recreational opportunities, fishing, swimming, boating, etc. In the woods, you can ski, pick berries, pick mushrooms and just enjoy the peace and quiet. In winter, you can go snowshoeing, skiing and skating, weather permitting.

Two-room apartment near Lake Saimaa

Bright top-floor one-bedroom apartment in the immediate vicinity of Holiday Club Saimaa and the golf course. Spacious bathroom with washer. A secluded, glazed balcony. The house has an outdoor equipment storage and a drying room. Peaceful condominium. Adventure Park Atreenal a few hundred meters and Ukonniemi - the diverse sports facilities of Karhumäki a few kilometers away. From the home door, directly to the golf course, to the forest trails, or to the light traffic fairways for outdoor activities.

Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Villa Rautjärvi (Free transport from Mikkeli)

This wonderful lakeside log cabin is located 25 km north from Mikkeli. The cabin, finished in 2014, invites you to relax and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Finnish nature. It's cosy and decorated with high-class natural materials and comfortable furnishings and is fully equipped with a modern, compact open plan kitchen, two bedrooms, each with 160 cm x 200 cm beds, loft room with a king size bed, an inviting living room and dining area, bathroom, sauna, separate toilet and a terrace.

Cottage in the middle of nature with a view of Lake Saimaa

The rock house is naturally built from a nearby tree in a natural way. The hut is a warm hut on a cliff surrounded by nature and forest animals. The terrace overlooks about 4 km from the lake in the direction of the sunset. On the terrace, there is a separate landscape sauna and a glazed atmospheric barbecue hut. The cottage is perfect for couples and really good for small families. Big deck around the house. Part of the terrace is glazed. My well water is potable.

The house is part of an old farmyard. The finnish-german couple welcomes its guests the year round, for only one night or for longer stays. The farm and its surroundings offer plenty of activities. The farm hosts a model railway, a farm museum and an organic beekeeping with honey sale. You may book the farm sauna for your own use. Swimming at the lake on demand.
