Vacation rentals with a fireplace in South Savo

The house is simply unique. The view of the lake is breathtaking and it is great that you are right in the forest. Incredibly beautiful. We felt super comfortable and would have liked to have stayed longer. Kari is very accommodating and even organized a child's life jacket for our daughter at short notice. Thank you! The hot tub and sauna are in top condition and the kitchen is very well furnished. All in all, it was a great, relaxing vacation for us and we didn't miss anything.

Excellent place, greatly decorated and clean, make you feel at home straight away. The view and location is breathtaking. a piece of heaven. great for family and friends. ..the best Sauna experience that I had in Finland so far.

We spent 5 nights at Erik‘s place and it simpley was an amazing time. If you want to enjoy nature and take a break from hectic every day life, this is the right place to go! Also the outdoor sauna was a very cool experience :) 10/10 would recommend!

Lea is a lovely host - very welcoming, warm, friendly, accomodating, easygoing and flexible. I had no issues whatsoever with her or my stay in her house. The house and her property by the lake is just gorgeus, the view is so calming and beautiful to look at. She takes great care of her garden too. I found the house having a very peaceful energy to it, I felt very relaxed there. The only slight downside for me personally was the double bed itself in the bedroom I stayed in. The mattress felt as it had seen it's better days, didn't feel quite firm enough for me, but then again this might not be an issue to other guests at all. I personally happen to have certain back issues and a good bed is something that's very important to me (I had forgotten to ask about the bed prior to my trip). I spoke to Lea about it after my first night and she was just wonderful with the whole thing as with everything else - didn't get triggered or provoked at all. She offered one of the other rooms to me as the single beds are firmer and that I could pretty much choose freely what ever works for me best as I was the only guest in the house during my stay. I found her to be very easygoing and just lovely in every way. I had some very nice conversations with Lea as well and we shared some great laughs too. She was also very kind to me, for example when it rained hard upon my arrival and my only shoes had gone soaking wet, she offered to dry them in the sauna for the next day. Also on another day when it kept raining, she offered me her own rain coat and rain boots so that I wouldn't get wet as I was taking part in the music festival as a singer and getting sick would have been very unfortunate. She also allowed me to practise freely in the house. Brewing a cup of coffee in the morning and the use of basic condiments such as salt and pepper while cooking in the kitchen was also included in the price. I am very pleased with my stay at Lea's beautiful home. She was a superb, fun host and seemed like a wonderful humanbeing overall. I felt great in her house and have no complaints about her whatsoever.

The stay was even better than we expected from the photos. There was plenty of room for eight and the setting was great. Great scenery right from the deck and it's easy to take a dip straight from the sauna. Highly recommended!

Very beautiful apartment in a great location. The view from the window and balcony to Olavinlinna Castle made the place a fairytale. Everyone matched the description. Very clean and well-equipped. A dedicated parking spot is a plus. Linda responded to inquiries immediately and everything went great. This is where I'd like to stay again.

It was a great pleasure to spend more than a week in Anita's large and very comfortable home! This pastel blue house with character seemed to us to be one of the most beautiful in Savonlinna and in one of the best locations. Plenty of space in this house - living room, kitchen, bedrooms, all are very nice rooms - lots of light too, in a very elegant setting. The house is also perfectly equipped. Last but not least, Anita, our host, welcomed us with warmth, kindness and solicitude which really made us very happy. Regarding the environment, special mentions for the central island of Lake Saimaa, Linnansaari, which can be reached by boat and can be toured on foot, and for the Punkaharju region which is home to the amazing Forest Museum.

I stayed several weeks and I'm very satisfied: the apartment was clean and tidy, in a quiet location near the center, and for example, the intermediate cleaning was done flexibly and well. Pekka took good care of the guest, responded quickly, and asked to let me know if there were any flaws-it wasn't. I'd love to come back to this if I need a place to stay in Mikkeli.

Cozy apartment. Lovely old-fashioned vibe. Everything was clean and tidy, and everything you need was found. Peaceful place close to everything. Can only recommend!

Excellent location and very beautiful home. It had everything you needed, and there was room for three people to stay well. Old dogs also had a wonderful time

Hanna's house was one of the loviest place I had the chance to stay at! The environment around is a dream, even under -15 degrees: the frozen lake you can have a beautiful walk on, the snow and animals... In itself, the house has the most beautiful view and everything you need to spend a great stay and feel at home! I recommand 1000%, will be back there in the future!

A wonderful place in nature and swimming was easy, low departure, sandy beach. A sweet, idyllic ensemble is Villa Strawberry and a friendly host.

It was a great place with a peaceful surrounding to enjoy vacations. The place was easy to find and had everything needed for a good time. There was a boat available but we could not use that because of bad weather. I would definitely recommend this place.

The experiential view opened up as soon as you entered through the living room windows to the lake! High-quality and cozy ensemble with hot tubs. The host responded quickly to messages. Warm recommendation !

Wonderful place, beautiful house with funny details. Nice environment with private beach. Spacious and comfortable house, perfect for family get together. Working kitchen, with enough of everything. It was an experience to stay here. The hosts great, I admire all the work they put in this unique place.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa and everything that goes with it. Great villa, great amenities, the two saunas are outstanding. Everything modern and very clean. The location and the lakefront property are beautiful.

Artur was really helpful , was very supportive from the start , the cottage was really nice , and will loved to come back.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Pirttilä. House is very modern and tastefully decorated, beds very comfortable, everything sparkling clean. The beach sauna is wonderful and we enjoyed swimming in the clean lake. We will be happy to come back ☺️
