Vacation rentals with a fire pit in South Lake Tahoe

We enjoyed our stay at Mark and Chelsea’s cabin. The spa and flat back yard were lovely. Everything was cozy. My only suggestion would be to offer guests the garage during winter. This was the first cabin we stayed in where the garage was not offered to us as guests and we spent a lot of time shoveling and blowing snow to get our car out of the 44 inches of snow that accumulated constantly over our 3 night stay. That combined with the long steep driveway and the plow blocking us in each day by dumping the driveway snow in front of the parked car outside the garage wasn’t totally ideal, but on the bright side the powder was amazing for skiing, sledding, and building snowmen so hard to complain too much bc we had a great trip!

This is the cutest (updated) Craftsman, it felt unique to be lodging in older Reno history, so close to the riverwalk (less than 2 blocks) and quick access to all the cool artsy vibes and flavors Reno has to offer. I especially appreciated and enjoyed the refreshed kitchen full of useful gadgets. Kelly keenly fused furnishings of the time with modern comforts. Beds were newer, soft, yet firm enough and comfortable. I especially loved the hard wood floors, in the front of the house, vintage windows, tile work and unique rugs. Neighbors were kind/patient with AirBnB. This was a perfect fit for our needs; two full bathrooms, two quality beds, kitchen to work in, a washer & dryer, a spot to enjoy morning coffee and centrally located to the riverwalk. Super cute and comfortable place to stay in Reno. The house was located in a nice quiet neighborhood and nicely decorated. We stayed with multiple families and we never got in each others way. Would stay here again if travels bring us back to Reno!

The house was great and easy to find. The remodel was lovely and had a great feel throughout the house. We would definitely go back again. I would highly recommend this home, you won’t be disappointed!

We had a wonderful stay at Harry's place! We loved the relaxing cabin vibe with the view of Lake Tahoe through the trees and enjoyed the hiking trail in walking distance to the house. Harry was a very responsive and accommodating host - definitely would recommend staying here!

This home was beautiful and spacious! We stayed here for a short weekend trip and the house was quite big and very clean. Host provided so many amenities that I haven’t seen at other air bnb’s that we’ve stayed at. This is a new neighborhood and it felt very safe and we felt right at home. This is a great place to stay that’s in the middle between Reno and Lake Tahoe as it’s about 25-35 minute to each so it’s great if you don’t want to pay Tahoe or Reno prices but still get a high quality air bnb. The check in and out instructions were very clear I didn’t really have any questions. 10/10 I would recommend to stay here!

We had a fantastic stay—conveniently located in Carnelian Bay, making it easy to come and go at any time. Lori was a great host, very communicative, and provided an excellent guide to local activities, restaurants, and shops. You can’t go wrong with this beautiful cabin.

The place is beautiful with lots of room. Well stocked and super clean. Neighborhood really nice and close to everything. Highly recommend.

Mark was an amazing host. Very attentive and responsive. The location was amazing. Tucked away in the corner of the hotel. Easy to get to the local shops once you get orientated. Close to the lake and right next to the Heavenly gondola. Would definitely stay here again.

We have been going to Tahoe for over 25 years, and this was it! Beach a short walk, food and stores a short walk. Place was cozy! My family enjoyed the pool and spa. It was a bummer they closed it down the last 2 days for repairs, but we enjoyed it the first few days. Staff were friendly and overall, we really enjoyed our experience. Thank you for the amazing vacation. My daughter’s had a blast!

The place was as described and looked like the pictures. Erica was very responsive to questions we had. The unit also had some extra bathroom amenities like eye makeup remover and Q-tips besides your usual shampoo/conditioner and body wash. They also gave a small s’more’s package. The kitchen had standard supplies but had some plastic dining ware that we were able to use for the kids. They also had a toy and book basket with games that my kids loved. Very family friendly. The location is a little farther from the ski lifts but completely walkable and in the village. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Jeffrey’s Hotel for one night and had a good experience. Everything was clean and in good condition. The kitchen could have been better equipped. I tried using the toaster and it started smelling and smoking a bit, but other than that we really liked it here (the beds are really comfortable), I just wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay.

It was a very nice quiet place. Didn't hear the train. It was close to Sugar Bowl Ski Resort where my Son and Family skis. Also it was just down the road from my Son's ski rental house. We didn't spend much time in the rental. We were gone every day and usually got back after dark. We enjoyed our time there. Thank You Very Much.

We had a great stay at Lori’s place. The condo was as described, with plenty of space and close to the Northstar shuttle stop. The shuttle was easy to request and usually available within a few minutes even during ski week. One morning we did have to wait 15 minutes, but that was unusual. Lori was responsive when we needed help with something. We would happily stay again.

This is a beautifully designed and comfortable home. It has the best equipped kitchen I’ve ever encountered in an AirBnb, and we had a great time cooking here with our group.

Chris let us check in early. That was much appreciated. We did not realize we could walk across the street to Gar Woods.. a restaurant we frequent when we visit Tahoe. The place was clean and matched the photos. We used all 4 bedrooms for our 3 families and enjoyed spending time together. We lucked out on both weather and traffic.

Absolutely amazing! Linda was so sweet and accommodating. I really love the atmosphere of this place as you can truly get away from society! If you’re looking for just that, AND to be close to everything - her air bnb is perfect for this. You can hear the creek from the cabin. It’s truly beautiful and peaceful. There’s spices, hot chocolate, and many more amenities for cooking and relaxing. Lots of choices for movies too! There is lots to do. I truly recommend their cabin! Thanks so much Linda. Lovely little cabin. Lots of charm and all the things you need are available. Tahoma was relaxing and beautiful and the host was super responsive.

Cynthia’s place was perfect for our family of 5 during our 5-day stay! The house had everything we needed to feel at home, even as 1-2 feet of snow fell outside. We cooked every day, and the kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use. The extra-tall garage was a huge bonus—it fit our SUV with a Thule box on top, keeping it snow-free. Inside, the high ceilings extended to both bathrooms, making the space feel open and comfortable. The living room had plenty of room to relax, and we enjoyed streaming YouTube TV and Prime Video on the TV using our accounts. After the snowstorm, we visited a nearby bike park and had a blast sledding with the sleds and boards provided at the house. The location is in a charming community, just a 10-minute drive from groceries, restaurants, coffee shops, and the lake of course. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we’d love to come back again, A+!

Great place. Close to town, clean and homely. Great outdoor deck and fire pit. Would definitely book again. Susan was very responsive and left a bottle of wine and some snacks that made you feel right at home.

We really enjoyed our stay here (1 couple and a friend). It’s perfect spot for a small group only a short walk from the lake. Very easy drive to Palisades with minimal traffic. We would definitely stay again.
