Pet-friendly vacation rentals in South Historic District, Savannah

The beds were very nice and there was plenty travel toiletries left in case you forgot something. The home was clean and well appointed with necessities. The home is an older Victorian looking home that was lovely with a lot of windows and a lovely private backyard. We could hear the upstairs neighbors in the second rental -so be prepared for that. It is a walk to get to the downtown and a 40 min walk to river street. Quiet neighborhood with Kroger and a Starbucks less than 2 blocks away. It is a very nice place and the host was very responsive and friendly

My husband and I and our border collie enjoyed our stay. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Grocery stores and restaurants were nearby. Kitchen had what we needed. And it was an easy drive to get to the historical sites. John was a very responsive host.

Great, spacious place! Kids didn't have to fight for the top bunk! Wonderful location to downtown Savannah, easily walkable.

Carlos and Marci were fantastic hosts. They responded promptly to our messages and put together a wonderful itinerary for our trip. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed. We’ll definitely book with them again!

We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. We visited with our Son and Daughter in law, and twin grandsons and the home was perfect. The toys at the house were a hit with our 20 month old grandsons! Thank you so much.

This was our second stay and it did not disappoint. Shawn is a welcoming host. She checked in with us to be sure we had everything we needed. The location is fantastic. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The sunlight infused apartment is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed relaxing there each morning and evening. The kitchen is well-appointed with coffee maker, coffee filters, ground coffee, pots, pans, some spices, etc. It’s a comfy kitchen to cook in. The mattresses are very comfortable, great pillows, high quality sheets, and a bottle of wine to start your stay. The location is 15-18 minutes from Tybee Island and to Historic Savannah. The house was perfect! It was close to everything we wanted to do. It was very clean and had plenty of pillows and towels. Would stay again.

Cozy little frog! Quick ride share to downtown. We appreciated the privacy fence while we enjoyed the fire pit! And when the rain changed our day plan, it was a very cozy day inside. Alex’s communication is exactly what you’d want in a host!

Milan’s home is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable for a family stay. Although we weren’t able to use the pool during our visit, the home itself was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Milan was extremely responsive throughout our stay and was very accommodating when a few small mishaps came up. His quick communication and willingness to help really made a difference. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Milan’s place to others. I’m giving our stay a 4 out of 5!

We highly recommend this property. Nancy was a very responsive host and a pleasure to work with. The house is very spacious, clean, and the backyard and pool area was great. If I had to nitpick, I'd say there could be some better cookware, but that's about all I can find any fault with. The beds were very comfortable everything was spotless on arrival.

Had my bachelorette party here and I loved it. So close to downtown Savannah and Tybee island! Laura and Andy were accommodating and very responsive. Would absolutely stay here again

Highly recommend for anyone staying in the area. Spacious, clean and perfect for the family. Kids enjoyed the pool and of course, ping pong. Amenities were plentiful! Hristina has all the details covered. We will most definitely be back!

We had a nice stay at Raquel's play within the Glenwood Grove section of Berwick Plantation. We have family in the Stonelake Townhomes section just a short distance away, so the proximity was very convenient. The floorplans of both locations are very similar, with dining, kitchen, living room, restroom, and master bedroom downstairs, and two additional bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Raquel's place includes a bonus playroom and laundry room upstairs. Communication was timely, access was easy, and the home was clean with all necessary supplies and amenities. The location is about 20 minutes from downtown Savannah (Bay Street/River Street), which was fine for us.

We had a wonderful stay at Marci and Carlos’s home in Savannah! The house is warm, welcoming, and comfortable — it truly feels like a boutique hotel, with all the coziness and convenience of a home. It’s fully equipped with everything you might need, the pool is inviting and relaxing, the beds are extremely comfortable and there’s plenty of privacy. Marci & Carlos were kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The location is also great — just a short drive to the beach, downtown Savannah and a nearby grocery store for any last-minute needs. We highly recommend staying at Marci and Carlos’s home!

Unit as described. Efficiency apartment above the garage. Perfect for 2. Garage below was a bonus as it made parking easy (for a small car). Within 5-10 min walk to many cafes and parks. Very pedestrian and bike friendly spot. Excellent communication throughout the experience.

Booked a last minute trip to Savannah for an anniversary and wanted to bring our dogs. Chloe & Michael’s place was so convenient and exactly what we were hoping for. I do wish that the fenced in courtyard had some sort of grass area for easy bathroom breaks for pups, but it was perfectly easy to walk around the beautiful neighborhood, or go a block over to Forsyth. Would definitely stay again on another trip to Savannah. The convenience and beauty of a historic neighborhood and still well within walking/biking distance of anything you’d want to do around the city

I stayed at the Peach House in May of 2025 with my two children and my parents. The two separate bathrooms were a real draw for us, and I loved being so close to Forsyth Park. The kitchen was more than adequate for our needs and the outside space was wonderful for my morning yoga. We brought two cars, so I inquired about street parking. Just be aware that it's possible you'll need to parallel park on the uneven brick road that runs in front of the house if you need more than the one provided parking spot. The large closet in the en-suite bedroom was great for bags so you could have more floor space. My 11-year-old daughter loved the day bed. Shower pressure was good, and between the windows and kitchen lights, it was a well-lit space.

What a cute and charming Airbnb! I would 100% recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in Savannah. Walkable to everything, clean, and relaxing. Hope to come back in the future!

Had a easy and spacious stay at the Airbnb - it was in an awesome part of the neighborhood and super convenient for the two of us!

Christen’s place was perfect for us 4 adults. The location very near Forsyth Park and a large Kroger‘s was both quiet and convenient. The well-fitted out kitchen, comfortable living room, large bathroom with plush towels & plentiful hot water, and comfortable bedrooms made our stay pleasant. We appreciated the good A/C and ceiling fans. The back deck with table couve enjoyed, and we watched a Netflix movie on the large screen. Christen and her husband were both responsive and welcoming at our arrival.
