House vacation rentals in South Historic District, Savannah

This is a real gem!!!! Perfect location and beautifully charming, tastefully designed home. Wish we could have stayed longer!!! Michael was helpful and responsive host.

Overall this home is exactly as described. Very large with plenty of space for all 10 of us. The two palm trees in the front yard on either side of the driveway have been taken out which isn’t a huge deal except I was hoping to hang a banner between them which didn’t happen. The yard plants need some trimming and the front deck has a damaged board or two, but the inside of the house was very nicely done. All of the furniture was in great shape and very sturdy, durable, and comfortable! The pool was nice but a bit too chilly for us to enjoy when we were there. The screen on the pool enclosure needs to be replaced due to storm damage but we were informed of that prior to our visit and it didn’t make a difference in the pool area or our enjoyment of it. Having two staircases to the upstairs bedrooms was very nice and convenient. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and it was very convenient to Kroger and Starbuck’s. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home.

Had a fantastic guys weekend away. Really enjoyed the pool table and poker table for our evenings!

The property was just what we needed and was as advertised. I was especially appreciative of the touches like towels provided ( I had packed my own thinking there wouldn’t be any available ). The pool was a nice bonus feature and the place felt like home. I highly recommend

The house was beautiful and feeding the turtles was a huge hit with the kids. Just far enough from downtown Savannah to have a peaceful getaway after a day out.

LuKa’s home was perfect. We loved the location, it was perfectly located between Tybee and Savannah giving us multiple options to go eat, explore, and be touristy. This house was perfect for our family with kids ranging from 7-14. They each had something fun to do that kept them busy and entertained, and of course the pool was a bonus! Even without the pool being heated, it had zero affect on how fun we all had. The home was cleaned and well stocked of everything we needed. We honestly cannot wait to come back!

Location - about 15 minutes by car to historic Savannah and also about 15 minutes to Tybee Island, so it is easy to navigate or use Uber/Lyft. We walked daily in the cute, safe neighborhood. We also walked to and through the Wildlife Reserve just two streets down from the house. Pool and hot tub were wonderful! Charcoal grill and seating for outdoor meals! Plenty of lounge chairs poolside. Also two loveseats and two chairs under shade (which was perfect for the 7 week old with us). Plenty of pots/pans/utensils/storage containers. Also olive oil and basic spices made cooking so much easier than if we would have had to buy those only to use small amounts. Private back yard in a quiet neighborhood. House has lots of space to spread out!

We loved our stay at the Victoria House! Beautiful house, and very walkable to Forsyth park, restaurants, the squares, historic neighborhoods, etc. we had such a great stay, and enjoyed sitting on the porch quite a bit! Would definitely stay again if visiting in the area.

This home was perfect for our needs. Our two families travel together for our kids sports and really liked that this home was close to where we competed and to the restaurants we enjoy. We also liked the secluded location. The neighborhood is nice and safe. The kitchen has all necessary items including a coffee pot and a kcup coffee maker. We were greeted with fresh flowers and cookies, which the kids appreciated most! We will stay again.

This charming historic cottage was everything I hoped for and more. Tucked away in the heart of Savannah, it offered the perfect blend of Southern charm and modern comfort. The space was immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated, and full of character—from the cozy furnishings to the little historic touches that made it feel truly special. The location couldn’t have been better. It was peaceful yet just a short walk from all the sights, restaurants, and shops in the historic district. I loved starting my mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee, soaking in the quiet beauty of the neighborhood and Green square. Shower was hot, kitchen was functional, plenty of towels and coffee and washer/dryer was a bonus. Wi-Fi was strong. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, allowing me to check in early. You can tell there’s a lot of pride in this property, and it made our visit to Savannah feel like home. Highly recommend —I'd stay here again as this one one of my favorites!

This really is the perfect Airbnb. The house is beautiful and in excellent condition. The location is great. You can walk everywhere you would want to be as a tourist but are not in the thick of the crowded areas. Communication with the host was easy. We could not have been happier with our stay.

We had a wonderful stay as a group of six celebrating my sister’s bachelorette weekend - split between downtown Savannah and Tybee. As posted, it’s about a 15/20 min ride to either location. Super convenient! - The back deck was perfect for a relaxing morning with coffee or evening beverage while listening to the wind chimes and taking in the beautiful scenery at the lake. - The three main bedrooms were great and spacious; however, the middle room with the pull out trundle bed was a bit tight. The middle room was also warm compared to the others (likely just due to the amount of sunlight in the room - perhaps a change in curtains would be beneficial). * Overall… we had a wonderful long weekend and would absolutely stay again!!! Great communication and ease of check in and out. Thank you so much to the hosts for such a great time with friends/family!!

This was the perfect home for our Spring Break! The mid-century inspired design was super fun, the house was pristine and pool and yard were great for many relaxing hours for our family, including daughters 11 and 8 and 2 dogs. The amenities provided were thoughtful and plentiful, from pool towels and floats to a well-stocked kitchen. The home was easily accessible to downtown and Tybee - would definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful house that really made the icing on the cake for our stay in Savannah. So much stylish attention to detail. Each bedroom was nicely decorated. We enjoyed just exploring the decor and details of the house. Easy to find, and an easy drive into downtown Savannah or Tybee. Walkable to Bonaventure Cemetery (.5 mile), which was a delightful realization and worth a visit. This would be an ideal location for a girls weekend for three people, or more if you are willing to share beds. I would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Christine's place! Pictures were accurate and the place was clean and had very cute decor - perfect getaway to the beach. Beach equipment included was nice. We felt right at home!

This place was wonderful! The house was perfect and it was only a short walk to the beach. Sitting out on the porch in the rocking chairs was our favorite. Such a beautiful and peaceful location. Tony was great! So hands on and very responsive. One of the best hosts we’ve ever had. We were sad to leave as we had the best time staying on Tybee Island. But we will definitely be back and we would definitely stay here again!

Raquel's place was amazing! Believe the other 5 star reviews. We booked this place last minute coming to Savannah from Pennsylvania. We were completely amazed at how much this place looked like the pictures and how much care went into this place for rentals. Our kids were beyond comfortable! All the extra things provided within the house you can tell that Raquel has definitely thought everything out. The area was quite. The playground was ok. Whats really good is there is a market and many other things across the street so this is the perfect location if your looking for privacy and easy access to food. I recommend this host 10 times over! I would rent again any day! This rental is definitely in the top 5 in the area!

Had a very nice stay. Garry is a great host and responds quickly. Lovey house with alot of antiques made you feel like you stepped back in time. Perfect location, super easy to walk to everything. Walking through the park was just beautiful. Felt very safe too. The beds are most comfortable I have ever slept in. Do be sure to read the description carefully. No bathroom or kitchen on first floor. Kitchenette is really a laundry room with a fridge, you really couldn’t cook there. I feel there is only one bathroom with a useable shower and you must go through one of the bedrooms to get there. Others don’t have one that any of us felt safe climbing in and out of. The care taker who is in the property lives in the house on the main floor. Hence, no bathroom or kitchen as I’m sure he has them in his quarters. This house really makes you think how it was to live like gentility. Nice stay.

We had an amazing stay and the host was super friendly and communicative!

We used the place for of groomsmen, bridesmaids, and close friends for our wedding weekend so we could spend more time with them. This place is perfect with several rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was great and there was plenty of seating throughout the house. The outdoor are is beautiful and very useful. The only issues we had at the house were the parking and the “noseeums”. Parking was confusing but they do have a large driveway and the concierge will walk you through it. The “noseeums” were bad but they were terrible everywhere we went in Savannah. So, I highly recommend this place but also recommend bringing lots of bug spray.
