Absolutely perfect stay at Nyree and Jeff's 🌿 Two hosts as we rarely meet: human, warm, discreet, smiling, of genuine kindness. You immediately feel that you are welcomed with kindness and attention. The accommodation was impeccable: clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and above all exceptionally quiet. A true haven of peace. Special mention for the garden, perfectly maintained — a little piece of heaven conducive to total rest. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this refreshing stay. I'll be back without a second thought.

Perfect accommodation for a total rest, very nice. It is in the middle of several iconic places to visit, which allows you to do a lot of things in a weekend! The breakfasts we ordered are excellent, thank you again! We'll be happy to go back!

i think I've never rented such a clean place and what a pleasure! The house matches the description and even better than the photos. The kitchen equipment is top notch. We felt right at home and it's not easy! Quiet house but shops are 5 minutes away by car. We found the hot tub nice to spend the new year. Thanks to Pauline for his availability and hospitality. Relaxing and refreshing family stay. Do it again in summer for this time to take advantage of the swimming pool.

What a fabulous gite in a wonderful location to explore the best of the Dordogne. 10 minutes from Terrasson, a beautiful old town on the river, spoilt for choice for great restaurants… or simple chilled evenings taking in the views. Jenny (& Fleur) is the perfect host, going above and beyond to ensure you have a perfect stay. Not intrusive but if you a fancy a glass of wine she will be on hand! (thank you for ours) We would return in a heartbeat and hopefully soon. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful building, superbly renovated. The environment is very peaceful, the cottage is very well equipped inside and out, with beautiful decoration. Communication was excellent with the host who is responsive and pleasant. Really a great discovery!

We had a very nice stay with Sofie and Irm. After a long drive, we arrived very late at night, in the dark. Nevertheless, we were received with great kindness by Sofie and we immediately saw: this is a beautiful place. The gite has all the comforts, is super clean and very nicely decorated. The grounds are very large, beautiful and definitely worth exploring. Monpazier is within walking distance with many good restaurants. Sofie and Irm are very sweet hosts. They are always up for a chat, give valuable tips, and gave us fresh eggs every few days. You can really see that they enjoy hosting guests and making them feel comfortable. a 4-day weekend with friends we had a great time lots to visit the river is nice and Christine was very kind everything was there we plan to come back next summer to visit a little more and be able to recharge. Thank you again

We stayed a week in gite des Mathieves. A beautiful gite on the edge of the cozy campsite. Private garden with hammock, BBQ and lots of privacy. Birds, butterflies, all kinds of insects that we could watch for hours. Occasionally, the 2 cats came to visit. Everything present in the gite and very clean. Everything was thought of. There were even delicious natural scents in the bathroom. Sarlat is 7 km from the campsite. Very cozy city with many restaurants. On Saturday when there is a market, it is very busy. Then it is wonderful to return to the tranquility of the gite. On one of the outer walls was: "I am zen". Well, we certainly were after that week. Next time longer!

We had a pleasant stay in Caroline and Bruno's charming house, in the heart of Cahors. What a pleasure to have coffee in the courtyard under the eyes of the neighborhood cats!

My husband and I stayed at this charming cottage a year ago and loved it so much that we returned, this time joined by UK cousins who took the second bedroom and were equally charmed. We're planning a return next year. See how appealing it is in the photos? It's even better in person. Sitting in the flower-filled back yard with wine, cheese and, of course, baguette, even I, Type A personality, relaxed to the point of melted butter. We could smell newly mowed hay and hear cows and beautiful birdsong. It's a quick drive to the medieval market town of Le Bugue, where you can always stock up. Patrick and Jacqueline are ideal hosts. Friendly, just a few steps away on their rustic property, giving you privacy if you want it but always happy to chat and help. I'll mention again that Patrick is happy to help guests obtain tickets to the caves with prehistoric art; take him up on it! They're not so easy to obtain. And if a hot wave hits, the pool is a beauty.

Wow, what a place. The view is fantastic. The cottage is fine. I'm glad there are two showers. We were allowed to use the pool and that was really great! The hosts are very nice and offer help where needed.

Great place to stay if you plan to come to the Lot. The house is very beautiful, tastefully decorated and very well-equipped. Birdie was very available and responded favorably to all our requests. The garden is very nice for dinner in the evening. We will definitely be back here if we return to the area.

We had a wonderful week at Coucou Cottage. The cottage is very well equipped and is beautifully styled and furnished throughout. Thédirac is a peaceful village, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. We enjoyed our morning trip to the boulangerie and there was so much to do in the area, we need to come back so we can do more! Rachel is a wonderful host, who made us feel extremely welcome and at home, we throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Very nice place, surrounded by nature. The accommodation was beautiful and you can sleep with the window open and the sound of cicadas. Jean-François is very welcoming.

Staying with Carl and Tara was a highlight of our road trip. Too much to say in a little review like this, but suffice it to say, you won’t regret staying here 1 bit. I’m sure we’ll be back!

We had a great time in the countryside at Anais's. The cottage is impeccable and located in the middle of a plot of land in the middle of nature, with forest, ponds, orchard… and lots of animals! And this is close to Gourdon which makes all shops very accessible. Anais is very welcoming, I highly recommend it!

We had a great time, a soothing environment and breathtaking views. A cottage that could not be more pleasant, cozy and very well-equipped. A wood-burning stove that gives real charm to the cottage as well as its pool. Our host's recommendations were good advice. A beautiful area that you will easily fall in love with and a pleasant local population. Lots of places to visit, all of great beauty.

David and Caroline were fabulous hosts and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived at their beautiful property. It was lovely to have a selection of local products, including a bottle of wine, upon our arrival. They explained everything clearly and were always available if we needed any help or had questions. The pictures do not do this property justice. The chateau itself is super charming, comfortable, and is equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need while on holiday. The fact that there was AC in the bedroom was a very welcome surprise as well. The grounds are immaculately maintained and it was delightful to just sit on the varanda and watch the birds while listening to the distant sound of running water. We can’t say enough positive things about our stay - we would absolutely recommend it and can’t wait to go back.

We really loved our stay in this property and would love to return! The villa was very spacious, clean & fully equipped with everything we needed (the bbq & cooking tools were a definite highlight for us!). It is a short walk into the picturesque town - we tried out a couple of the restaurants and they did not disappoint! We loved the pool and it felt incredibly relaxed & peaceful away from any noise. Tim & Linda were very helpful with their recommendations & gave us a warm greeting on arrival to the property. Would definitely recommend this property - one of the best bookings we’ve made on Airbnb so far!
