Looking for some quiet and solitude our cabin is located in the country sitting on 20 acres of wooded land with walking trails, wildlife, and solitude. But we are still just a short drive to nearby communities for numerous activities to enjoy. We have kayaks and a canoe for rent enjoy an evening on a nearby lake watching the sunset and listening to the loons or enjoy some fishing from the kayak. In the winter enjoy our Outdoor Sauna, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, or ice fishing.

Our stay at loon landing was fantastic! The house/cabin are quaint and the sunset views were just what we needed. Plenty of room for our group of 4. Everything in the kitchen works which we cooked in every night. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors we met were very nice. If you’re looking for party cove, please look elsewhere… for everyone’s sake. A nicely paved trail for walking/biking/skating sits just a block away and we used it everyday. The winds were strong during our stay so we weren’t able to use our rented pontoon much but it fit on the dock well. Would definitely stay again and we would even consider staying during the winter if it’s available.

From the moment we arrived, this cabin proved to be the perfect lakeside escape. The cozy, spotless interior and thoughtful amenities—from the fast Starlink Wi-Fi to a crackling fire pit—made our stay seamless. I even proposed to my then girlfriend (now fiancée) at sunset on the dock. Hosts were incredibly responsive with clear check-in instructions. The private dock and fire pit were highlights, and the pet-friendly policy was perfect for our pup. Five stars all around—we can’t wait to return to this hidden gem!

The place is beautiful and located in a private spot in the lake. the place was as pictured and very clean upon arrival. we appreciated the canoe that was available for use and the corn hole game in the yard. I highly recommended staying here. Lots of space inside for everyone to spread out.

Beautiful home in beautiful surroundings. Jan and Mark are the consummate hosts and very responsive. The lake views are gorgeous and the back deck quickly became our favorite place to gather. There were 7 people in our group and the home was perfect for our needs. If we ever have the opportunity to return to Bemidji this will be our go-to place for lodging.

We were in town for a family gathering. This place worked out great for its proximity to our family. There were plenty of beds, all very comfortable with great bedding. The place has numerous levels with stairs up and down. It was fine for our family, but it’s not handicap-friendly. We enjoyed the cowboy theme, coming from the east coast.
