What a fantastically beautiful place! Erle's house really has a breathtakingly beautiful view. We really enjoyed this! The children loved playing outside and loved the sweet dog. The house was cozy, very special to see such a long history back. The only thing we regretted was that based on the photos, we thought the sea would be closer. Otherwise an amazing place!

Highly recommend this home. Cozy and spacious. Close to many good km of cross-country skiing. Everything works fine and nice family on site. We'll definitely be back

Great home for kids - our kids (6 and 9) had a blast. As did the adults. The tram is a few minutes from the front door, great location.

We had a lovely week at Arve's house! The house is spacious, quiet and comfortable, the environment is beautiful. Feel free to take the ferry to Bergen, it's easier than by car!

A few weeks later and we are still dreaming about this place. The home itself is so idyllic and traditional, we felt so lucky to stay here. Sandvikstorget is so peaceful and quiet and if you stay here then it’s easy to strike a balance between hygge and the bustling city atmosphere. Strolling around this area we saw an abundance of beautiful architecture and nearby was Falske Reker wine bar which is perfect for watching the sunset plus the amazing Bakeri 29 for breakfast / lunch. The house was spotless and although it was small, every inch of space has been used efficiently which made it feel more spacious and cosy. We particularly loved the bathroom layout. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need to make a home-cooked meal and the supermarket around the corner was so useful. We truly cannot fault this place and have recommended it to all of our friends. We can only hope you return again in the future!

Fantastic great apartment! So clean and nice and very cozy apartment close to good restaurants and shops. Super nice and incredible communication with the host both before, during and after the stay. We would gladly came back 😊😊😊 We really enjoyed it!

perfect size for two people, perfect location to myrkdalen resort (easy beautiful ~15 minute drive), good water pressure, space efficient, heated bathroom floors, ample storage. Adequately equipped kitchen (kettle, paper towels, napkins, cutlery and plates, fridge, etc.). Has everything you would need for a short trip. Ample EV charging stations as well. Would come again for the views and value for $!

Otherwise is a perfect host who is helpful and very flexible. I was allowed to use the boat and even the Hings (boat as indicated for a fee). Beautiful location for walks and (for me especially) fishing (cod, pollak, Leng, squid, scarf and even a shark).

Excellent apartment in Highland Lodge with great hosts too. We really like the the private feeling at the top floor and the amazing view of the valley and mountains. The kitchen is super well equipped and comfortable furniture in the entire apartment (they even have a baby crib and Trip Trap chair for toddlers). Monica is also a great host making you feel very welcome. Can highly recommend staying with her.

Felt right at home staying here! Mindaugas is a great host, welcoming, warm and friendly. The view is incredible and there’s a waterfall on the property. I highly recommend staying here!

Marte was extremely helpful and responsive to our last minute accommodation requests. The apartment was perfect and the bus stop was just outside. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful time in Norway and especially in Theresa’s cabin. Everything from the arrival to the departure was clear and simple. Theresa was very polite and helped us in every way when we had questions. We really recommande her ! If you want to disconnect from everything and be connected to nature, we recommend you this place. Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

Great space.. lots of room, very hospitable, and central to all of the activities we did in the area.

Christen met me near Bryggen and pointed out all the eateries and the French bakery along the route. During checkin he provided thorough and helpful about the apt plus a look at a detailed guidebook he designed for area activities, entertainment and dining. Best yet is Jorunn’s lovely apt thoughtfully and tastefully decorated in a 40’s vintage style and feel immediately at home. Spacious with window views of red tiled rooftops and harbor. Period kitchen cabinets and new appliances. China plates, prints, needle point and paintings on the walls with shelves of pottery and plants. Colorful print duvet. Heated bathroom floor. I love Bergen, but this apt was a highlight of my stay.

Quaint and beautifully furnished old farmhouse. You can see the attention to detail and the history of the house everywhere. In the evening you can help feed the goats and chickens. Here you have absolute peace, but be sure to think about mosquito spray.
