Vacation rentals with breakfast in Sogn og Fjordane

Wonderful stay in Bergen. Rose was an amazing communicator. She thought of every little detail and told us ahead of our arrival. Rose went to great lengths to arrange a key pick up convenient to us when our train arrived really late. She gave us a heads up about maintenance on the building and great detail in directions to her place. This is Rose’s home and it’s such a pleasure when someone opens up their actual home to you and invites you to help yourself to what is there. Like the old days on Airbnb. The kitchen was fully stocked and we enjoyed coffee each morning. The apartment is a 20 minute walk to town but the price of the accommodation made it worth it. The flat is in a modern area close to the waterfront. The grocery store is down the steps literally a minute away. We loved the 2 full bathrooms each with a shower. The beds were super comfy. Would highly recommend Rose’s flat for families, couples or anyone looking for a very nice and comfortable stay very reasonably priced.

Staying in the small cabin is an adventure by itself. The surrounding forest and lake are beautiful. The cabin is clean and you find everything you need (outside toilet, no electricity and the beds are a bit hard). The cabin is not so big, so if the weather permits you should be outside (we had a fire, …) which is great. Bring mosquito repellent. We had one really rainy day and therefore a very cosy time with four people in the cabin. We would highly recommend using the sauna (for a fee) and jumping in the really cold and clear lake. The city of Beitostølen is just a few minutes by car and there a some restaurants and super market. The best part is the connection to Beito Husky farm (next to the wood) which we - and especially our kids - really loved. We spend a day with the dogs and had a serene canoe tour. It was a great stay and our kids where really sad leaving the dogs behind.

Really amazing! The house was very spacious, clean and stylishly decorated. The host, Kate, was super friendly, helpful and quite an impressive lady. There was already a lot of food in the house (almost more than we have at home ;)) and the coffee machine was great. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was amazing. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. Myrdal itself is stuningly beautiful and a great place to stay to visit the surrounding area with short direct train rides to Flåm, Voss, Finse etc. We can’t recommend it enough!

What a wonderful home away from home for a long weekend! The house is part of two different worlds - one the rural Norway of the past and the other very much the present. Being on a working dairy farm also made us reflect on the sources of our food and how much we take for granted day-to-day. We enjoyed convenient access to kayaking, hiking, cruising the fjord by ferry to Geiranger, and cooking local foods in the well-appointed kitchen. Special thanks to Synnove for fresh home-baked bread and sending on our way with slices of cake for the journey.

A fantastic place to stay and a lovely host who made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The house was warm and cozy and felt like home each evening we returned. The views are stunning and Ole is charming, helpful and interesting to chat with. We highly recommend both Ole and his terrific home.

Merete was a great host. She is super responsive and stayed up to check us in. She was very friendly and the breakfast setup was simply great!

As soon as we had parked and got out of the car, we got butterflies in our stomach just from seeing the Skifterud farm. The couple on the farm with a skilled intern welcomed us warmly, shoulders lowered, the pace went down and the resting pulse arrived. They have an absolutely magical atmosphere. You'll hear the waterfall in the background, a small goat choir, and happy hens tripping around. There is wildlife, insect life, plant life. You'll wake up refreshed and look right at the lush valley and trees waving in the wind. We greeted those goats and walked to the waterfall that is close to the farm. We were also served organic, self grown, delicious food, as well as an unforgettable intimate concert with Rupert. Gaby is skilled in the subject, and we learned a lot on her classes that we'll take with us in our everyday lives. The farm is a rare jewel that everyone will have a unique experience on, whether it is to get knowledge, be inspired, or just get a break in from a busy everyday life. We are truly grateful for the stay and look forward to returning.

Absolutely super apartment in a central location. Clean, tidy and very comfortable to stay in. Everything worked properly and I would definitely rent again.👍
