Vacation rentals in Socorro

If I could only use one word it would be PARADISE! We’ve been traveling and staying only in vacation rental homes for 10 years now. THIS PLACE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST AND MOST BEAUTIFUL EVER! This cabin is all the way at the end of the road in towards the mountains! Very private with 360* views! The property is just covered up with mule deer, and there were stellar Jays and adorable little furry eared squirrels! There is no way to describe how wonderful it is to be in the woods of the Manzano Mountains! So peaceful that all you can hear is the wind in the pines! Guy, his wife, mother and all the staff are wonderful people and so eager to make your stay perfect! They also have miniature donkeys, fluffy faced cows, a gym, a zip line, a store where you can buy souvenirs, and apple cider made from the apples in their orchard. We will be back for sure, hopefully next year and for a longer stay! Check out all of their other rentals here on this 140 acre property! YOU WILL NEVER WANT

A beautiful little casita. All amenities as described. Margaret is a wonderful host with recommendations for local spots to tour, books about the area, and restaurants (hint: try the Buckhorn in San Antonio!). Quiet country location with easy access to both Bosque del Apache and Socorro.

We would definitely stay here again. The home was lovely and comfortable. Many nice, beautiful touches. The kitchen has everything we needed and the kitchen appliances all worked great. The hosts were thoughtful to leave coffee and breakfast treats. The property is peaceful with beautiful cactus and other plants. We enjoyed just sitting at the dining room table watching birds. There is a closed in porch that is quite comfortable and a nice place to sit and chat as well. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. The property is nice for those who like to get away from towns, but close enough to town to easily grab a burger at the Owl. Bosque del Apache is only about 15 -20 minutes away.

Very nice home, close to the NM Tech. The facilities worked very well for us. Thank you for maintaining this place in such great condition for us to use.

Oasis in the desert. Carol's place is a nice homy place in the middle of the desert. The mobile house has everything you might need to cook, plenty of room, and a comfy bed. The Roku TV offers a vast selection of channels. Coffee pods are available, and you can wash your clothes if needed. Another bonus is the shaded carport. Wi-Fi is not excellent due to the limited wireless service in rural areas. I used my iPhone as a hotspot and stayed online. The view from the house to other backyard ranches and the gravel parking area is not the best, but there is still plenty of space to walk around the property if you feel like it. No doubt, I will stay at Carol's house again.

Charming house on the road to White sands (we had landed in Albuquerque). Very clean and equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. Beautifully decorated, it was also full of little touches that visitors are sure to appreciate. I highly recommend it.

We had a great stay and felt right at home. The area was spacious and private. Our party was staying in the area for a hunting trip at the White Sands Missile Range. We were 30 minutes from the range which was convenient for the occasion. We would gladly stay here again in the future!

The airbnb was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. House had a good layout. The host was very helpful and communicated well. We recommend this airbnb.
