Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Skagafjörður

Es war ein super Aufenthalt, wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen! :-) Zu viert hatten wir gut Platz, die Ausstattung war wie beschrieben und den Pool haben wir geliebt! 😍 Wenn es etwas zum Aussetzen gab, dann höchstens die Türen - es war teilweise etwas unangenehm, dass die Schlafzimmertüren und die Bad-bzw. WC-Türe keine richtigen Türen waren. Dadurch, dass sich diese Räumlichkeiten alle gegenüber lagen, war das oft sehr hellhörig. Wir haben unseren Urlaub aber trotzdem sehr genossen und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! :-)

Die Unterkunft liegt in malerischer Umgebung. Sie ist klein, aber fein - es ist alles da,was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt braucht. Die Gastgeberin ist hilfsbereit und sehr gut erreichbar, der Hot Tub und die Sauna am Haus standen uns zur Verfügung und es wurde sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung 🥰

This property exceeded all of our expectations and the photos don’t do it justice. Clean, comfortable and extremely private. We experienced a yellow alert (severe blizzard with very strong winds) so had to stay in the house for an entire day… and it was the perfect place for that! The driveway got completely snowed in, but the caretaker was able to help dig us out and couldn’t have been kinder. We will most certainly stay here again if in the area. Communication was fast, friendly and very thorough.

Séjour inoubliable avec nos 2 filles dans une vallée au bout du monde sous la neige, accueillis par Mickael aussi chaleureux que l’ambiance de son chalet. Si vous aimez les grands espaces à l’écart de la civilisation, ce lieu est fait pour vous. Aurores boréales le premier soir, baleines à Davlik, bains chauds à la piscine de Davlik et des balades enneigées. Nous repartons enchantés. Merci Mickael.

We had a magical couple of days at the hidden cottage. We came up to the north hoping to do some skiing with the kids. We had a beautiful drive up from Reykjavík and drove into a valley creeping into spring. We woke the next morning to a thick blanket of snow! It meant it was tricky to leave the cottage with our vehicle but the kids enjoyed a day in the snow and a bit of a hike up the valley. The cottage was clean, comfy and warm with beautiful views and we had everything we needed. The hot tub was fun. When we had to leave early the next day and were worried about the roads, Lea was extremely helpful. After a bit of snow shovelling we got on our way. The 4x4 we hired managed the main road into town no problem. We enjoyed looking around Siglufjordur on the way in and went via Akuyreyri on the way home where the kids had a fun swim and we managed to get on the slopes in the afternoon. We rented ski equipment on site. Wish we had had a couple more days to explore the towns a bit more!

Wir hatten einen top Aufenthalt und würden die Unterkunft sofort wieder buchen. Wir haben es komplett genossen dort Gast zu sein.

We loved staying in Daníels cabin! He is an incredible host, friendly and helpful and welcoming. We felt comfortable and welcome from the start and he provided us with anything we needed. The cabin itself was very warm, spacious and had everything we needed and more. There were beautiful big windows all throughout the place where we could gaze outside at the stars and northern lights. We also enjoyed the hot tub outside and the sauna, and the location was peaceful. The perfect getaway!

Sehr gute Basis zum Erkunden der nördlichen Bereiche Islands. Für das relativ ländliche Gebiet gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im nächsten Ort mit gut sortierten Geschäft und einigen Restaurants. Der Gastgeber unterstützte auch bei der Planung der An- und Abreise. Unser Urlaub fand im Winter statt, bei teilweise extremen Wetter, zum Glück hatten wir das gemütliche Haus. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

Die Unterkunft war grossartig! Als wir ankamen ist sofort aufgefallen, dass in Zwischenzeit einiges renoviert wurde, was uns positiv überrascht hat. Man fühlt sich glwich sehr wohl und es hat alles vor Ort, was man benötigt. Die Aussicht und der Hot Pot auf der kleinen Veranda waren ein ein Extra der super Klasse.
