Apartment vacation rentals in Skagafjörður

It is one of the best Airbnb for the location. It was private. The cafe and restaurants were also in driving distance and we loved our stay in this beautiful place.

The stay was amazing, beautiful surrounding and perfectly renovated house. Even if we had a small incomprehension with Einar about the number of guests he rapidly suggests a solution, giving us an extra room, this was really appreciated. I want to suggest this stay to all the couples who love peace and silence. Stunning view from the bed!!!

Absolutely lovely place to stay - our second time here. Spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable, lovely to come home to at the end of each day. Great shower! 2 mins walk from a lovely cafe and public swimming baths with hot tubs. Special thanks to Kristjana for buying 2 yoga mats for the house so that we could use them during our stay.

We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay in Hauganes. The apartment was neat and very clean, probably the cleanest rental we have ever seen. The location is great, you have access to restaurants, whale watching, art museums, hiking and more with just a short drive. Would certainly come back next time we are in the Akureyri area.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. We loved the house and it eas wonderful having the hot tub each evening. The Hestasport team was fabulous at answerig questions on the rettir and helping arrange activities. In 4 days we went horseback riding, helped with a aheeo sirting, went whitewater rafting, explored the area, and ate at seceral fantadtic local restaurants. The hotel steos away from our house serves amazing food. Every part of this stay was wonderful. We highly recommend!

Everything was great. We would always come back and felt very comfortable in the yard and in the apartment. Everything well equipped and very large living and dining area. Great view and very quiet location

We had an amazing stay in this wonderful apartment 🫶🏻 It was cozy and we felt right at home - watching the ships depart from the harbour while snow is blowing around was the exact retreat we needed. Micheal was really friendly and gave us some good tips to make our way through Iceland even more scenic. If you are driving the ring road and need a place to stay, we recommend you stay here. We hope to come back here someday.

We spent 11 days in this cosy apartment and really recommend staying here. It is located in a quiet and beautiful area close to Akureyri. The beds were comfortable and we had everthing we needed. Anna and her team were always very friendly and helpful. Our daughters enjoyed the horse back riding very, very much. We would like to come back again.

The guest house is as described and is located in a great location to explore the north of Iceland. Having stayed 3-nights, coming back to relax in the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day. Steini and Gunna were fantastic hosts who welcomed us when we had arrived and made us feel at home. I highly recommend this place!

What a dream! This was our second visit to Ólafur’s home. So cozy, comfortable and well appointed. The view out the living room is gorgeous. Still have not managed to see a whale in two visits, guess we’ll have to book a third stay! Thank you for having us, we loved every part of our stay!
