The unit was super clean, convenient and perfect for two people. Vivian was great to communicate with on any issues.

Absolutely wonderful find!!! Elk! Deer! Super quiet and peaceful surroundings. The house had everything needed to cook wonderful meals. The couch was fantastic for lounging on while enjoying the wood burning stove. If you’re looking for a place that is close to town, this will not be your place. It takes close to an hour to get to Montrose. Be sure to get all of your groceries and supplies before heading to the cabin. If you’re looking for solitude, you found the holy grail! I’d, absolutely, stay here again!!!!

We had a great extended stay at Chris’s place. The house was honestly bigger and nicer than I felt like came through in the listing. It also feels cozy like a place people live in or have lived in, or at the very least he took the time to make sure the house was well stocked (especially the kitchen). Chris was always quick to respond to any questions and seems like a generally friendly person. If we are back in Ouray, we will check his listing first!

This was my third time at Michelle’s studio, and I had another great stay! Location is super close to the trailhead for the Silvershield trail, which leads to the longest continuous set of dinosaur tracks in the world…how cool is that! Michelle is a great host who really cares about her guests. I hope to return again next year for another stay!
