Jagath is one of a kind. He was such a welcoming host and always had a good balance between being helpful and supportive without intruding your own space and plans. If you are interested he can explain a many things about this part of Sri Lanka. He has huge knowledge about history, traditions, food, plants and also current issues. Also the whole estate reflects his interests with a beautiful garden, historic artefacts and an excellent cuisine, we are still missing. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Renuka’s place is fantastically located a pleasant 20 minute walk from lions rock. With amazing views of the rock from the back garden. The accommodation is super clean and modern. With great AC and WiFi. Renuka and his family made us feel so welcome, with tea on arrival. The food they made for us was delicious, especially the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. The location is quiet and beautiful and you can sit on the evening watching the sunset over Lions rock listening to all the birds. Would highly recommend Renuka’s place as a tranquil place to stay.

We had a wonderful time at this unique Airbnb! The location is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy peace and nature. We were particularly impressed by the excellent cuisine – every dish was a real highlight. The pool area invites you to relax, and during this time you can observe the surrounding wildlife, which is a very special experience. The house is open and very secluded, which made the place charming for us. However, this could be unfamiliar to some guests. But if you are looking for the combination of relaxation, nature and excellent food, this is the place to be! We will be happy to come back.

Had a lovely 2 nights at Yohann’s place. The house and grounds are beautiful in a very secluded area but easily accessible by car on well maintained tarmac. Chamara and Sampath were on site to help us check in and show us around the accommodation. They also provided a lovely bbq dinner on our arrival with excellent subsequent meals made completely according to our preferences. Would love to stay again and I’d highly recommend Yohann’s place.

What a nice place! We stayed here for one night in a beautiful, new cottage. The view of Lion's Rock is very special. What made our stay extra special was the welcoming family. We were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. Cooking together, laughing together. It felt like we were part of their family. The contact with their daughter (the host) was also very pleasant. Everyone cares with many worries and with a lot of love for their guests. A special thank you again to their sweet mom, dad and son! In a short time we made beautiful memories here. And as a bonus, my Singalees have also gone ahead! My Sudu and I really enjoyed it. Recommended!

We had a great stay at the Treehouse. Before we checked in, the host responded to our inquiries promptly and was very helpful with every question we had. The Treehouse, in general, was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was a homemade meal prepared by the host themselves, and it was absolutely delicious. We felt right at home and would gladly come back.

We really loved to stay here! Very nice people and the host can arrange everything you need. Delicious food and if you want to go on excursion I recommend you book it via the hideout. The tuk tuk driver and the jeep Safari driver they arranged for us were very friendly, helpful and had good knowledge.

The Treehouse was a lovely break from city life however still local enough that in 10 minutes you had shops and restaurants. The treehouse itself was absolutely lovely & we really enjoyed it. Prepare yourself to embrace every part of nature, I know it can’t be avoided due to location and venue however be ready for ants !!!!& don’t forget your bug spray
