This a beautiful and peaceful Airbnb that had everything you could imagine. The curated video game consoles and arcade games as well as the pool were the features we enjoyed the most! This was the perfect place for my laid back 40th birthday party!

Recently had a road trip and stayed at this cabin. I definitely recommend it. Well appointed, cool game room, and great location.

Our family had a wonderful time at Heidi and Steph's place to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Heidi and Steph really made us feel like at home. They're the most wonderful hosts we've ever met. The view from the front porch, facing the river, is beautiful. Great place for fishing and enjoying the beauty of nature. We caught 6 trouts in two days. Yay! Thank you for showing us the spots and for everything else that made our trip an amazing one.

Perfect weekend getaway for my family. Wendy and Alan were super responsive when we needed help with a locked door, and my kids loved the place and didn’t want to leave!

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to slow down and enjoy the simple things, this is the place. We left feeling refreshed and already thinking about our next visit.

Our family (ages 3 to 66) had a wonderful stay at the Old Station Cabin. The kitchen was easy to cook in and had everything you needed. The beds were comfortable and even had chargers in the drawers in case you forgot them. The hot tub was an added bonus! We loved it! It was nice being near the places we planned to visit, as well as a gas station and store less than a mile away. Joy was top notch with her communication and response time from the time I booked the trip up to check out. We are already planning our next trip!

Peace and quiet surrounded by the woods and beautiful vistas. Only a 5 minute drive from Dunsmuir, avoiding the disruptive sounds of the trains that run through town.

If you have this place on your wish list or are considering staying here, DO IT! It's one of the most amazing AirBNBs we've ever stayed at. The home is lovely, the location was spectacular and the pool just takes the cake. We were a group of two families (4 adults and 4 kids aged 2-8) Plenty of room for all of us. We visited during a time of bad weather which was fine because the house is so cozy and there was plenty for us to do at the property. The location is the perfect launch pad for lots of outdoor adventures. On the days we stayed in, the kids were easily able to busy themselves with all the activities and games in the house. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked well enough to support the meals we made! We stopped in Redding on the way in to get our groceries (as a heads up there isn't a grocery store nearby!) The neighbor was so helpful and even had some firewood available for us when we arrived. Can't wait to come back!

We stated here for 2 nights while visiting Lassen national park. This cabin is located in a peaceful place. You have few neighbors around the area, so you wont feel isolated. Todd and Becky had the place set up with a keen eye for details. If u have forgotten to pack anything for your hike at Lassen, you may be able to find it here for use during the trip. They have binoculars and hiking sticks and torch etc which is not something we have seen at other stays. Kitchen had all the necessities. There was a bottle of wine for us. There was water in fridge. Bedroom was nice and comfortable. The other room had games and coloring books for kids. They were very responsive hosts. Overall it was a great stay and close enough to the national park. We would definitely recommend it and come here again!

I can’t say enough good things about Tim and this incredible property. From the very start, Tim was exceptionally responsive, genuinely friendly, and incredibly accommodating — all green flags before I even arrived. As for the property itself, it’s nothing short of breathtaking. The listing does a great job capturing its charm, beauty, and peacefulness, but honestly, words don’t quite do it justice. There’s something truly special about this place that you can only feel once you’re there. It’s no surprise at all that this property has earned a near-perfect 4.99 rating — it’s well deserved in every way. I’m already looking forward to returning and spending more time there.

We absolutely loved the space—such a beautiful cabin in the woods! The backyard was especially amazing; we had a great time around the bonfire under the stars. Everything about the place was fantastic, except for the hot water situation. Since we were a large group, the last few people had to take cold showers. Other than that, it was an incredible stay!

The host was really kind and provided detailed information around the house. I highly recommend this place!

This is definitely a perfect getaway! I was roadtriping and stopped by Shingletown. Candess’s farm is huge and very beautiful. It’s for sure a wonderful place to have friends gathering, bbq, pool, animals, and all the natural beauty! The cabin is super super cute I literally screamed out when I stepped in, it’s exactly what you would imagine in the tales. Only thing was it didn’t have any service and I happened to get some work to do, and they kindly invited me to use the guest room which has internet. The night was amazing!

Ron’s cabin is cozy and private. Check in was simple and the cabin was exactly as described. Although there are some houses nearby it’s very peaceful at the cabin. The kitchen is well stocked which made making multiple meals easy. We slept well in the comfy bed. It was nice to be able to have our dog who really enjoyed running around the property. We would love to stay again!

Not enough space to mention how awesome this place is. My kid wanted to visit Lassen Nat'l Park for her college grad gift. Manzanita Lake was just over 6 miles away. We kayaked & jogged happily daily. The local grocery store wasn't too far either . This home is insanely beautiful and very well kept. It had everything we needed. We used the grill, fishing poles, washer/dryer, all the kitchen appliances, and EXCELLENT wi-fi. 2 full baths for 5 is always a plus . Every morning & evening we sat on the back deck snuggled in a blanket, listening to the creek and drinking coffee provided by our hosts. We even enjoyed an evening with board games and wine made by the hosts as well! My hubby and I kept remarking about the cool little things we kept finding in the house, just little touches that made the home more charming and fun. The host answered our texts promptly and was super funny. Felt like a true family vacation, loved every minute. OH and all the guys LOVED playing the N64!

Amanda’s Airbnb was lovely!! She was super accommodating and brought in furniture that would fit our family of 5 (including a 1-year old, she brought us a high chair and a nursery bed!) Her home was lovely and located right across from a playground, perfect for young kids! Would highly recommend!!

This is the third time we have spent time in Lisa's cozy cabin, as Dunsmuir is an ideal stop for us en route to our son in Portland. We love it! Although we never play any of the games she has provided, we love the comfortable bed, the shower amenities, and (at Christmastime) the Christmas tree! Lisa was particularly accommodating this time, as I had forgotten to mention our pet when we signed up. PS Pizza Factory in town = great pizza!

Very easy and pleasant stay at the south entrance of Lassen National Park.

Katelyn's cabin exceeded our expectations. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The cabin is gorgeous, modern, spacious, and very well stocked. I have stayed at many Airbnb's in the past and have often been underwhelmed with the kitchen. I love to cook and the cabin had everything I needed to prepare every meal. Proximity to beautiful waterfalls and National, as well as State parks is good. It is the perfect location as base camp for our many excursions, whether it was beautiful and secluded Potem Falls, to majestic Burney Falls and water activities at Lake Britton, to floating or fishing on Hat Creek or hiking Mt. Lassen or hiking upper, lower, and middle falls on the McCloud River. We enjoyed ourselves so much thanks to Katelyn's hospitality. We look forward to our next visit.
