Waterfront vacation rentals in Shimogyo Ward

It was a great place for us to stay at! We are a family of 7, 4 adults and 3 children and it was big enough to accommodate all of us! The place was clean and well maintained, having the washer and dryer was a plus! It was close enough to all the tourist location, but far enough where we didn’t have to deal with the loud night life! Location was great, it was walkable to get to many places!

Miwako met us at the door, infinitely better than the automated system at the next place that felt like an escape room. She helped with an unusual request but undoubtedly one of the highlights of our whole visit to Japan was the sushi night - my only regret was that I could not speak Japanese to communicate better.

The location is in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from the Keihan line, which runs up and down the city and will take you all the way to Osaka if needed. If you like walking, you can get to Kawaramachi and Kyoto Station and beyond. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-furnished, equipped with everything I needed and more. The coffee table and entryway were stocked with a number of travel pamphlets. The building itself is charming in a very '80s way, but the elevator is smooth and quiet. Last but certainly not least, Sumi is a true superhost, bringing much-needed Kyoto hospitality to Airbnb accommodations. She was ready to help with anything related to my trip, even things I hadn't though of yet.

The place was amazing and they were very responsive hosts! We forgot an important medication from our previous hotel and they were very helpful and arranging a next day shipment! Really nice and we were in such a beautiful location!

Thanks to suiton hotels for providing a quiet and comfortable rest environment for my mother and I's trip to Osaka. Although the B&B is not within walking distance to the shopping district, it is only two stops away to Umeda shopping district by train, which is very fast.The Host was very nice and proactively helped us, 100%!!🥰 I highly recommend staying here if you come to Osaka.

Guys, just get this place !! If you’re afraid of the bright lighting, it does not look like that at all 😂 it dims, I promise ! The wooden bath was so amazing, we didn’t even end up using the outside one. Place was honestly huge for the price too! The bedroom was also extremely comfy. Beautiful riverside and gardens nearby. Seriously, get this airbnb and you will be happy with your stay 👍 trust me

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment - perfect for our family of 4. Some of the local restaurants were outstanding and authentic compared to restaurants in the city. Highly recommended.

Such a quiet and beautiful oasis in Kyoto. Spending the mornings sipping coffee on the balcony, was definitely a highlight to our time in Kyoto. In addition, it was easy access to public transportation but also a short (and beautiful stroll) to various points of interest in town. I adjusted the timing of our Kyoto visit to accommodate this reservation, and I am so happy that I did.

It was our first time visiting Kyoto and this place with conveniently located to good restaurants and train station. The place was comfortable and clean. It comfortably accommodated 6 people. The host was great and responded quickly. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Kyoto and need a private and quiet place to rest. Neighborhood was peaceful and safe too. I would stay here again.

This was the most spacious and comfortable Airbnb I’ve been to in my 3 trip to Japan. Enough room for everyone and very accommodating as well. Lots of wonderful restaurants just a few block away. The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful this stay is would recommend to anyone who’s visiting Kyoto.

Had a great time, very clean and quiet location. I didn’t expect the stairs to be so steep, but that was my ignorance! If mobility is an issue this isn’t the place for you but otherwise ticked all the boxes. The shower is big for Japanese standards which was great!

Beautiful clean room, super comfortable and spacious especially for Japan standards. Bus stops (5 min walk) near by and train station (15 mins walk). Was also able to do laundry for free. 10/10 spot would recommend and go back.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The location is near lots of good food and historic attractions while still being in a quiet neighborhood.

This place is not fancy, but it is roomy, well appointed and comfortable. It is in a great location close to four different train stops, and you can walk to restaurants and sightseeing. It is two units on two floors with steep stairs, and was great with multiple kids. Would rent again.

We stayed for four nights and it was a great experience. The support team was very clear and responsive before and during our stay. Having a shuttle from Kyoto station was a very big plus! Location was good. Close to bus and metro lines, walkable to many restaurants and a grocery store. The space is not perfect, there are some stains on the furniture and carpet, but overall it was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Beds and bedding were cozy and the heat worked very well. Loved the big bathtub!
