Cottage vacation rentals in Sheringham

Thanks to Max for letting us use this lovely space. Myself and my partner booked in to get away for a few days and this place was exactly what we needed. Quiet, cosy and tucked away but still able to access all of the activities we planned in Norfolk. The house was spotless clean and you can tell Max has put a lot of thought into the amenities provided (even down to the ice lollies in the freezer!) The hot tub was a perfect touch to relax in the garden with some music on and some bubbles. The stay was amazing. Thank You!

Thank you Mary for letting us stay at your cottage, we had a great time and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway! The hot tub was immaculate and we also enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was tidy and comfy, and the location is great - close to some really nice walks and villages. Hope we get the chance to come back!

We had a wonderful stay here, the property itself is beautiful and in a perfect peaceful setting. There was nobody staying next door whilst we were there so it was very quiet and didn’t see anybody passing the property. In a great location, plenty of national trust sites nearby and not far at all from sheringham. William was very responsive and helpful when we had queries. Property was great for our little dog Monty, with plenty of garden space for him. We only wished we were staying longer, so would love to come back!

We had a lovely time here our first overnight trip with our new baby. Brilliant hosts, the bread and eggs were a nice touch. Interesting cup lights in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend. Thanks :)

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful little town full of things to do and see (and the beach is not far away). The cottage is really well-appointed and full of cool things. The hot-tub was also a complete luxury!

Lovely few days staying in South Creake. I visit Norfolk often for the beautiful scenery, villages and coast and this stay did not disappoint. A quintessential cottage in a quiet village but spacious and modern enough for 4 of us. We loved the hot tub too! About 20 mins drive from Wells and Brancaster beaches, lovely restaurants such as The White Horse at Brancaster. Clean and well equipped stylish cobbled cottage.

Beautiful cottage, looked just like the pictures and much more spacious once we got inside. Lovely garden and the hot tub was a bonus. Our dog loved sunbathing on the grass outside and had loads of nature reserves dotted around for us to visit and take the dog on a walk. 10/10 would definitely recommend

Highly recommend for a peaceful break. Watching the stars in the hot tub with an owl flying over was particularly magical.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Thatch Cottage. An excellent base from which to explore the area. Liz proved a very attentive host and was concerned that our stay was the best we could have. The cottage was lovely and very well equipped. We appreciated the 'gift basket' - a nice touch that makes the visitor feel welcome. What was especially important for us was the 'dog safe' garden. Often host describe their rental as 'dog friendly' but they haven't provided a secure garden area. Liz made sure that her garden was well fenced off and we felt very happy that our dog was able to be free and safe. Thank you Liz.

A lovely cottage. Very handy for wandering up and down the coastline. Spotlessly clean. Very well equipped with top quality equipment. Elaine was very helpful and attentive. Thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Very quaint house in beautiful village. Ruth was the best host, left us some nice bits on arrivalx eggs, milk etc. Really quick to respond and help us when needed. Would definitely return to both the area and the house! Thank you James & Charlie

Really clean and Beautiful. We had a really lovely weekend with our doggie seaside lots of walks. Black boys pub was great food and an easy walk too. Would highly recommend to anyone else thanks:))

Fabulous cottage in a great location near Blakeney Quay, 5 mins from great cafes and restaurants and walks. Garden is a regular suntrap all day. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Blakeney.

I stayed here while working in Norfolk and chose it based on the great reviews—and I wasn’t disappointed. The location was ideal, and Harriet’s instructions were clear and helpful. The cottage was spotless and in excellent condition. A lovely touch was the tea, coffee, milk and biscuits on arrival. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower and amenities were great. I’d definitely stay again if visiting Norfolk.

Hushwing at Row Hill Farm provides spacious, bright and modern accommodation with private enclosed garden with views over countryside, an enjoyable smart kitchen merging with dining and comfy living room, lots of space for your travel items, treats and a much-appreciated feeding table for the dog, and wonderful books on nature, cooking, & Norfolk tourism to round out the welcome. Plus, the wine glasses are the best we've ever seen in any hotel room or AirBnB! Jo and Tom are excellent hosts, friendly, accommodating and helpful. A lovely base for exploring the delights of this county!

We stayed at mark’s place from the 16th to the 20th June everything was as described We couldn’t have wished for anything else we will definitely be recommending to our friends and family

We enjoyed a comfortable stay in this beautifully decorated cottage. At the start of our stay the weather was pretty cold but the heating was very responsive and the addition of gas fires in the fireplaces was lovely. All in all a lovely stay

Just had a fabulous few days in Blakeney exploring the North Norfolk Coast. We chose the Tap Room for the positive reviews and great location. The accommodation was as described and just what we needed: a quiet and private setting. Everything had been well thought out and we couldn’t fault a thing. The welcome pack was a lovely touch! George was incredibly accommodating and communicative before and during our stay. His local information was really helpful and we enjoyed some lovely meals from his recommendations. We would highly recommend the Tap Room, and any future guests must try ‘Two Magpie’ bakery, which was absolutely fabulous and open every single day! 😊

We have just had a long weekend at Diane and Colin's cottage and it was wonderful. The setting is beautiful; rural, quiet and peaceful, but also close to amenities and the coast. Inside the cottage is just perfect for a getaway with very warm and welcoming decor and furnishings; a real home from home with everything you could possibly need. Diane and Colin are the perfect hosts, they have thought of everything, nothing was too much trouble and the welcome goodies were much appreciated. We thoroughly recommend a stay here and hope to be back again ourselves. Thanks for a great few days Diane and Colin (and of course Merlin 🐕).

Marjorie Cottage was the perfect, cosy base. It’s situated in a quiet street, with easy parking and yet only 5 mins walk to the beach and town. The welcome pack was most appreciated. Marjorie Cottage had everything we needed, in comfort. An added bonus was Sky TV and a smart speaker in a few rooms. Sue and Kelly were very quick to come back to us with answers. Would love to stay again.

The location of the cottage was perfect - just a few steps and you are on the high street and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The cottage was clean and comfortable with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The only negative I have is the towels left were not soft and fluffy and in my view need replacing. I would have no hesitation in recommending.

I managed to lose keys of property. After hours service second to none. Made me feel as if this could happen to anyone and that I was not an idiot!! Thank you for being there and helping me

Buttercups is a perfect gem! Stylish, peaceful, uncluttered, and spacious with beautiful light flooding every room. The roomy dressing room is perfect for yoga a well kept garden is an added extra to enjoy. It feels like a well loved home with charming artefacts and art work all chosen with care to create a harmonious restful space. The cottage is perfectly placed in a quiet lane giving immediate access to walks to Blakeney and Cley on Sea. Warm, comfortable and quiet: we loved it and hope to return.
