Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Shenandoah Valley

It was a very quaint place. It felt like I had my own place as there was a small living room. I hope to come back if I need to stay in the area in the future.

We enjoyed our short stay in the mountains! Beverly was very friendly and welcoming. The cabin was clean, cozy, and peaceful. We hiked Crabtree Falls (only a 10-minute drive!) and had a great meal at Devil’s Backbone (about 25 min away).

Hidden gem! Both the market and the bed and breakfast are amazing. The market has a quant bar and restaurant with great food and drink. It also has normal things you would expect at a market with additional specialty products from local vendors such as goat milk soap, local kombucha and other fun touches. The surrounding town is filled with activities that any history/outdoor enthusiast/wine lover will enjoy. Overall great stay, great communication and individual attention and looking forward to coming back soon!

Pamela's place is in a lovely old building right in the heart of historic Frederick. Historic sites and restaurants were an easy walk away. The apartment was clean and well furnished. We're glad we found it!

Matt's place was easy to access, close to the stadium 🏟 and comfortable! He was a fabulous host. He was responsive to our questions and easy to communicate with! Definitely recommend.

Autry’s place is quiet and private. It is in a beautiful neighborhood with a lovely wooded backyard that feels like you’re in a forest. Driving along Lee drive to get there is an experience in itself and highly recommended, although you can approach it from the other side too. It is a very clean and comfy place with lots of room. The shower is gorgeous! Just turn the lever a little to get the water as hot as you want. Looking forward to staying again soon!

This was a perfect place for my short one night stay in Richmond. Only one block from Cary St., where there were lots of cool shops and restaurants. Loved how easy it was to go exploring! The house was clean and had everything I needed for this short stay.

Our stay at Hidden Haven was exactly those two words, hidden and an absolute haven! Super cozy spot with so much character! We loved the clear amount of care and effort the hosts put into making the space as enjoyable as possible for the guests, it seemed like they thought of everything. Definitely an amazing spot for a weekend getaway and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some time away!

My family stayed here over a weekend to see the Richmond area without staying in Richmond. With two little kids, we needed a yard where they could run around safely and privately, a house they could run around safely and a short distance to attractions. We moved a few things out of toddler reach and it was perfect. During nap time, the screened in porch was a mini vacation for the adults. The neighborhood is on a small loop, the house situated at the end (no car traffic). Felt private and yet food and groceries were nearby. Getting to anywhere near Richmond was a cinch since the location is close to the highway entrance. The house was super clean and had what you needed. A welcome basket of snack was VERY appreciated by all after a long car ride. My husband complained the coffee cups were too small (lol) and wished the living room had more lighting but truly nothing that would deter us from recommending this place for a family looking for the same thing we were.

Beautiful setting. Spacious home. We were short a sheet and comforter, Nicole responded and was at the house in under 10 minutes.

They were amazing to work with. Had to find a place on short notice. They were great! Too our last minute reservation and gave us recommendations for the local area even with weather conditions not being the greatest!

Hands down the cleanest and one of the best appointed Airbnb stays I have ever had. Patrick is a terrific host and very easy to work with. His apartment is a terrific value and in a peaceful and convenient area in Richmond. His yard was perfect for our small dogs. we can't say enough good about our experience!! Just stay here if it's open!

We had the best stay!! Beautiful house and Dolly and her husband Brendan couldn't have been better. Great communication, always responsive, great local recommendations, AND Brendan even came and personally mowed the property for us- after their lawn crew didn't make it out before our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked and a great space to cook family meals. We also loved that they provided many of the basics- hand/dish soaps, dishwasher tabs, TidePods (which we didn't use, but nice to know they had if we needed) etc. We felt right at home! Only thing to mention is you can hear traffic out front from the nearby highway, but you'd never know once you're out back.. and it wouldn't stop us from visiting again!
