Vacation rentals with beach access in Shenandoah Valley

Fantastic accommodations - apartment seemed close to new with plenty of room & private bathroom for each bedroom & big walk-in closets. Nice common area between bedrooms. Great dog park & areas to walk dog. Would definitely stay with Anna again & highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay at this spotless apartment with a lovely view of the confluence of rivers. The host was responsive and helpful. We felt at home with everything we needed, from the well-supplied kitchen to the comfortable living room, spacious dining room and luxurious bedroom suite with its own deck door. We had breakfast and coffee on the huge deck while enjoying ducks and boats on the water. Heard trains but slept fine. Being able to lock our bicycles in designated storage was a huge plus, as was the convenience of having bikes right outside the door for a beautiful ride on the treelined Great Allegheny Passage trail to OhioPyle in the state park 10 miles away. A fawn nibbled berries as we arrived for an incredible dinner at the Riversedge Cafe, a short walk from the apartment. The Confluence Convenience mart was open when we needed supplies on a Monday evening. And so glad we stopped at the nearby Tissue Farm for Chai, scone and art on our way out to Kentuck Knob - a must-see!

Wonderful!!! We have such a relaxing weekend at Peter’s place. From the moment waking in we felt relaxed and at home. Peter had jazz music playing and the fireplace ready to go for us. There was plenty of wood available and Peter even provided fire starters for us to use. Peter’s place was spotless, the bath towels were soft and smelled so good. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, we slept so well. We loved the attention to all of the decor. We appreciated the plentiful seating in the living room. The couches were so comfortable and made relaxing so easy to do in front on the fire. The attention to detail and little touches that went into making this place amazing were appreciated. There were plenty of games, books, comfy blankets and pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with a wide variety of pots, pans, baking sheets, cups, plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery. We especially loved the views from all the windows. We can’t wait to return for another visit.

Great place if you’re looking for a stay in the Smowshoe mountain village. Located in one of the resort buildings with immediate access to slopes and ski storage. The village was also easily accessible just outside. The room was very cozy and well kept, with enough space for three people to comfortably fit all their equipment in for the stay. Corey the host was awesome! He was very proactive and answered all our questions within an hour usually. Would definitely stay again!

I loved staying here. The lake is beautiful, the loft feels cozy and welcoming and Denise stayed up late and welcomed us even though we got there late. Really felt like I was with family. The area around is cute. The only thing that would have made it better is maybe a bowl of snacks for people coming from far far away but I think next time I’m in town I’ll be coming back :)

We’re an outdoorsy family and we all loved our stay in Glenn’s home, right by the water with easy to launch area for the kayaks, no light pollution at night to watch a blanket of stars in the sky. Our fur baby loved it just as much and took a liking to Glenn. Thank you and hope to be back this summer!!!

A comfortable, spotlessly clean little apartment. Everything was as described. Diana was responsive to our questions but was not intrusive at all. We had a bonfire outside, sat on the front porch, listened to the trains, and walked around town. Enjoyed a couple of great meals at the River's Edge Cafe, just a short walk away. A great experience. Very impressed! The speed with which Zazi responded to my questions prior to leaving my home was less than 10 minutes, and because of that, we had no questions when we got there. The home had a rustic country look and feel to it. We were very comfortable. Everything we needed, other than food of course, was provided. Internet was great. Cellular coverage was weak, but we were already aware of that. It's a mountainous area and that's to be expected. The heat was on when we arrived and the house was a comfortable temperature. We loved it and have another trip planned next month. Honestly, we will probably make this a yearly trip!!! Thanks Zazi.

Another great stay. Always look forward to our stay here. The place is always as described. The view of the river is amazing either from the house or down on the dock. Highly recommend if you looking for a nice quiet place to stay. Janet is always helpful with anything you may need.

Beautiful home a short walk down to the lake and dock! Clean and comfortable. Very nice residential area. A great relaxing getaway! Screened in porch and fire pit are awesome! Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at Lynn’s house was so easy. We had 4 families staying together and there was ample space and activities for both adults and kids. The kitchen was so well stocked it made cooking meals for 15 people a breeze! We would definitely stay here again!

We found a "six" star gem walking in the door at Woodhaven. The photos, though true to life, could not adequately convey the warmth and coziness of the living quarters, cleanliness of the rooms, well appointed furnishings in the kitchen, high end bedroom linens and abundance of puzzles/games to keep one entertained and engaged. Wendy's attention to detail, hospitality AND ability to orchestrate a "blizzard" was beyond our expectations and imagination. When we connected in October as owner/renter soon changed to feeling like friend/family in February. We thank you for being instrumental in adding to our treasure trove of memories.

My friends and I had a great time over the weekend staying at this home! It was very cozy and the surrounding area was very peaceful! Patricia was very responsive and helpful with everything we needed while being able to answer any questions we had quickly and effectively. Would highly recommend this location for others looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway!

Jacqueline and Nate were more than accommodating during our spring getaway. We encountered a flat tire traversing the WV mountains and needed to stay another night to have it fixed. Jacqueline was quick to respond and was able to grant us another night, which maybe we just truly needed :) would recommend place to any families with small children. Absolutely beautiful !

Manish was the perfect host. The condo met the description perfectly and had everything our group needed. Manish communicated frequently, answered all questions quickly, and the instructions provided were helpful. Also, the location is amazing! Literally right on the slopes, and super easy access to everything Snowshoe has to offer. Thanks Manish!

I wish there was an extra star for the Host! Lorena was super helpful, always responded less than 30 minutes, and made us feel welcome into her home. Personal touches say a lot, and she had written us a nice thank you card that was on the table when we arrived. It was also nice that we did not have to run out and get toiletries immediately as they were readily available upon our arrival. Lorena was also upfront with an issue involving the oven, however there was a toaster oven readily available if we so choose. I highly recommend her condo to anyone with a small group of people/small family that plans on staying in the Deep Creek area!

Very convenient and located close to all activities

The best vacation spot with a beautify condo! Had a blast at this place and will definitely be coming back for sure. The house the view the furniture, everything about the trip was amazing!!

Location, location, location! It's an old lodge but the space has been updated some and you can tell it's rented a lot. But the location is worth it not being brand new. You walk out the back door right at the ski lift. Restaurants , shopping, all within a short walking distance. The space had everything we needed to cook, plenty of linens, blankets, pillows, and towels. It even has a boot warmer! We had a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay at this place again.

We stayed for a weekend of snowboarding and had no issues at all finding the things we needed or getting around the area! Everything was simple, the home was amazing, and the communication was great. I would stay here again and plan to!

Great place to stay for a ski vacation! Very convenient location right next to the village & Ballhooter lift. Condo is well stocked with everything you’ll need. Shuttle picks up right at the front door. I would definitely recommend staying at Kristin’s place for a trip to Snowshoe!
