Apartment vacation rentals in Shenandoah Valley

This is our second stay and we will return in the Fall. We love the location and the neighborhood. The place is cozy and relaxing . Mark is very responsive and the place is stylish and immaculate. Its a great place!

Beth & Stephen were super friendly and responsive...made us feel very welcome. Great informative YouTube videos on check in and parking also, which help a ton if you're not familiar with the area. Booked the apt for my husband while he was on a work trip and he said the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and he slept like a baby. Will stay again for sure...looking forward to the next trip when I can stay myself!

Fun weekend trip! I was in Staunton for a show at the American Shakespeare Center and stayed an extra day to explore the area. It just happened to be opening weekend for the farmer's market as well as the start of the outdoor shopping/dining season on Beverley Street. Martha's place is the perfect central location for exploring this very walkable town - I enjoyed seeing the Woodrow Wilson Museum (and garden in the back with lots of spring flowers blooming), Mary Baldwin campus, Trinity Church, etc. Martha's apartment is so comfy and clean, and has all the amenities. The bed is amazingly comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and the living room couch/tv setup is nice for relaxing with a show or movie in the evening. There are so many little touches throughout the apartment that let you know that Martha has thought of everything to make her guests feel at home. I can't say enough about this charming place and wonderful host!

carrie's place is very inviting and clean, also peaceful, you will hear the dog occasionally but didn't bother us, bed is comfy , bathroom is big, loved the hot hair fan. it has everything we needed.

We couldn’t have picked a better place for our stopover. In fact, once we arrived we wished we could stay longer! The apartment is beautiful with wonderfully picked antiques and accent pieces. And the beds! I sunk into my bed and didn’t move — it practically hugged me. The parking is conveniently right behind the building with plenty of space. And yes, it’s a long walk up the stairs to the apartment, but they are not steep and there’s a sturdy handrail. I’m not the most mobile person but I didn’t have any difficulty. The windows were open a wee bit upon our arrival which was nice after a warm day. There is activity in the streets in the morning so consider closing the windows before you go to bed so you don’t get woken up. I didn’t hear a thing 😴 — but my daughter heard street sweeper machines in the early morning. She enjoyed her bed too much to really care though. All in all we loved it and are thrilled with our stay. Easy to get back to the highway in the morning, too.

What a beautiful spot! We had a lovely stay while we showed our granddaughter around Gettysburg. Only minutes from downtown and the battlefield, the gorgeous property feels private and peaceful. The friendly ducks and kitty were very entertaining and the apartment was spotless and cozy. The fireplace was so nice and little touches like earplugs, coffee and popcorn were appreciated. I would love to visit again and will highly recommend Abigail’s place to other travelers!

Jayne's place is all you would wish for your home away from home. Comfortable, nicely furnished, well stocked with personal touches. Beautiful porch with views on the wooded area around. Jayne is super friendly and responsive. We would definitely return if we are in the area again!

We spent a great 2 nights in Richmond at Mark's place, while moving our daughter to the city. The apartment looked exactly like the pictures and was extremely clean. The neighborhood is vibrant and the location of Mark's unit was perfect. Shout out to Tarrant's Downtown (excellent dinner) and Lift Coffee Shop (breakfast on Saturday and Sunday), both on Broad St. Mark's unit was a fantastic value, especially considering easy parking behind the building was included. The building itself is beautiful and we appreciated that unit #4 was on the second floor, so an easy walk-up the stairs. Definitely recommended!

Alex and Rebecca went above and beyond expectations and were flexible when we needed to extend the stay another day. They were fantastic at communicating to ensure that we were able to get into the building and sent multiple recommendations on things to do and places to eat while we were there. Beyond amazing hosts 10/10 would recommend staying here. Thank you Alex and Rebecca for being so great!

This is our third time staying here! Perfect weekend getaway location to hike, see the stars, and enjoy the company of friends.

Absolutely 100% Top notch! Immaculately clean, quiet, comfortable and Joe is a great host. I can't say enough about how perfectly this was setup.

Robert was very responsive to my questions. The location was primo! Quiet & private. Don't miss the poetry fence at the end of the block. There's a grocery nearby, and when we went to restaurants, we'll, the food was fantastic! Gustave Boulangerie had excellent sandwiches, huge quiche, and GREAT pastries. Del Ray Cafe- mmm- French kiss. The recommendations in the guest book were very helpful. And it's very close to DC, so easy to go sight seeing. thank you Robert!

Daniil and his team’s communications and instructions were clear, proactive, and helpful. We’d love to return!

Place was exactly as described! Lots of space, clean, and the location was close to everything. Be aware that the space is part of someone’s home, so you’ll probably hear some noises during the daytime, but it didn’t impact our stay at all. Hosts also were nice and communicative.

Great cozy spot in Lovingston! Ed was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. Despite all the rain we were able to have a lovely weekend getaway. Wineries and restaurant options close by.

Our stay on the farm was peaceful and quiet. The view was amazing. The suite was clean and private. Kam was super responsive to an issue we had with the jacuzzi tub and was there within 15 minutes along with her maintenance man. Definitely recommended Haley Farm if you desire peace and that down on the farm feel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Unit was exactly as pictured/described. Comfy beds, plenty of hot water, well stocked kitchen with good quality pots, pans, etc. Great amenities and nice touches like stocked coffee, creamer and popcorn. Owners were very responsive and flexible. Thank you!

The location is excellent, within 15 minutes of most amenities, and has pleasant surroundings. There is only one television, which might be challenging with children, but the abundance of board games was a welcome addition.

This was the perfect little getaway for me! I just wanted a cozy place to relax, read and enjoy a hot tub and that’s exactly what I got. Bonnie was so sweet and accommodating. Very responsive and helpful! I will definitely be back
