Apartment vacation rentals in Shenandoah Valley

Deidre and Scotty’s place is such a delight! I only stayed for one night but it was so comfortable and well designed that I wished I had time to stay longer. The space was so easy to relax in and if it weren’t stormy out I so would have been hanging out on the beautiful porch. I will definitely try to come back!

My husband and I love staying here and come once to twice a year. Butch and Lynn are very responsive and the nest is cozy and clean. We always look forward to our stay!

This was PERFECT for our family of 5. We brought an air mattress and the two beds were so comfortable! Everything was well labeled and instructions were clear there are other lofts on the same floor but it was quiet. We always bring a sound machine and it was just enough we didn’t hear anything. The only thing I’d recommend to be aware of as a parent traveling with kids is this is an old converted school house with the original hardwood floors so they creak with every step. If you have young kids who sleep lightly just be aware. But truly, it fit our needs and was quite charming to be staying in an old schoolhouse!

My wife have enjoyed so many great AirBnB locations but this one may top them all! Such a nice space for guests, nicely appointed and more space than you can imagine. SUPER kind and helpful hosts. Cumberland is a MUST place to visit and we look forward to staying here in future. 10/10!!!

This was our third stay at this airbnb and won't be our last! Have stayed upstairs twice now, downstairs once. Our preference is the upstairs because it has two bedrooms. Love the path that is just outside the door - and the spring bridge just over the way. Be warned -- there are a lot of steps to the upper floor - so those with mobiility issues will want to choose the downstairs option.

We had a wonderful stay at the Foxglove Retreat for Memorial Day weekend! You can’t beat the location, convenient to wineries, breweries, town, and nature. The place itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed, we especially enjoyed the beautiful scenery. I appreciate how easygoing Baker was as a host, it helped maintain the relaxing feel of the weekend. I only wish it was warm enough to take advantage of the amazing pool! Next time :)

Very comfortable accommodations in a beautiful setting. The design of the space was convenient. Amenities were plentiful. Beth was a great communicator. We’d go back when in the area!

Nice, clean place. Convenient location! Great if you want to fish or spend time on or near the river! Nice covered porch if it’s raining, great fire pit and chairs!

Joyce’s place exceeded my expectations. A beautiful, fully equipped and cozy space with idyllic views of the landscape from her property. You could tell the place was meticulously cleaned and much love and care put into the design both in the home and on their land. She has gone above and beyond to make guests welcome and I immediately felt at home. I also enjoyed walking around and observing the deer and birds after a long drive. I will definitely be back next time I need a stay in the area!

Great place for stay in Warm Springs. Close by the warm spring pool, restaurants and other amenities. Clean and comfortable house. Great for couple enjoying a little get away from the city.

We had a lovely stay on the river in historic Occoquan. The apartment’s location made it easy to walk to dinner and stroll around town. The place was comfortable and clean. The self check-in was easy with the video instructions, and Isabella responded quickly to questions and requests. We appreciated having access to the designated parking area (parking on the street gets tighter on weekend evenings). We were grateful for the coffee, which we believe should be a standard part of all Airbnb experiences. Other than the WiFi being a little spotty, we found everything very well prepared for our stay.

Debbie’s place is a very nice pet friendly apartment. Just as described and nice restaurants within walking distance. Just what we needed to rest after a long day of driving.

This was such a great find! The space is incredible with a great view and plenty of space for 5 people. It was also extremely clean and had fun games/streaming services available. Corey also gave great instructions in advance and was really responsive when I ran into an issue at check out. I would definitely stay again!! Thanks Corey!

Ed and Camille were amazing, they have a sweet apartment with a great Jacuzzi and pool. We were in town for a wedding and were blessed that Ed’s spot was open as it was only 15 minutes from the wedding venue. The apt was clean and everything was working, the kitchen was spotless as well. Ed and Camille were great, very communicative and nice people.

We arrived late after an evening graduation. Easy self check in. Welcome package was a nice touch. The place was equipped with what was needed for a enjoyable stay. We had a car issue and owner messege me with solutions. Fortunately our family picked us up and we were able to continue celebrating. Was able to charge battery with her charger and extension cord. Maya assistance kept the graduation celebrations the focus. Much appreciated !

It was a cute little carriage house apartment. The jetted tub was nice, it had a coffee pot and blackout curtains. Though we didn’t use it, there were EV charging stations and worth noting. It’s about 5 miles from Oakland proper and 10 miles from the touristy part of Deep Creek, so close enough but far away enough. If you are looking for a place to get away with amazing views and to check out from the real world, this is the spot. Kam was responsive when we did message her. Definitely would recommend.

Bryan & Heather were awesome hosts to work with. Very prompt with responses to questions. Their place was exactly as described and very comfortable for my husband and I. The views getting to the condo were amazing!!! It was very peaceful with only a few people around since we stayed off season for skiing. We would stay there again if return to the area in the future and their condo is available. Thank you again Bryan & Heather for sharing you condo. *Note to others considering this condo: Heads up; winding road up the mountain with many sharp turns could be a challenge in stormy weather.

We had a great stay. The amenities gave us all the comforts of being in a home at the end of a long road trip to DC. We could spread out, rest and recover each day after seeing the sights of the district. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly like the listing described. The metro station was only a couple of blocks away, and there were lots of options for food. Arsham was a great host, and we plan to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Yoder School House. It was so peaceful and relaxing, especially the hot tub with a lovely view of the farmland and watching all the birds at the feeder and in the field over coffee in the mornings. The house had everything we could need - Rhoda is very thoughtful in stocking the kitchen and even leaving fun board games. We loved the proximity to the Casselman Creamery, and it was a great location for day trips to hike Mount Davis and explore Ohiopyle State Park in PA. WE would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Awesome place to stay if you’re looking to get away from the city or have a quiet weekend away. The place was very clean and cute. We also enjoyed watching the animals. loved this place!

We came to Ohiopyle to raft and this was the perfect place to stay! Right in town close to restaurants, close to the GAP trail if you want to run or bike, and close to the rafting company storefronts. It’s walking distance to everything you need, clean, and Andrea is super communicative. Can’t recommend enough!
