We found 7 1/2 acres here, on the Central Coast, with spectacular views of verdant trees covering rolling hills that reach all the way to the distant mountains south and east of Arroyo Grande Village. The country meets the sea in this laid-back, picturesque surf town. Shell Beach is halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles on California's Central Coast, which makes it the perfect stop for some wine tasting and outdoor adventure. Within walking distance there is a beach (best to visit at low tide), restaurants and coffee shops. My home is an original 1950s bungalow. Per guests requests, I made few upgrades — new windows, space heaters in every room and a dishwasher to boot!
