Great secluded area within 30 minute drive of what must be 25+ hikes. It’s rural, stock up before getting in. Very comfortable home sitting right on a stream that is amazing for reading books at night or drinking coffee in the AM. Serviceable kitchen/bathroom/bedrooms. Pet friendly is a plus. If you’re coming in the next month be prepped for bad roads, seems you have to take the gravel backroad into this place which is a tad rough to say the least, but manageable. Loved being on the farm around the animals and guard dog. Only was able to tackle about 10 hikes so will definitely be back!

Sally is a great host and very responsive. The place is very nicely done and comforting with the 3 bedrooms and a large living room. Nice additions of games as well as a really cool property. We loved saying hi and petting her dog and cat. It is super close to some of the best hikes like Garden of the Gods and Rim Rock. Definitely make sure to grocery shop before you come. We were there to do all the hiking but you are 30 minutes away from a grocery store and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. Worked great for my family of 2 adults, an 8 year old, 10 year old and our dog.

I can not say enough about this place, second time we have stayed there and will be back for sure!! Loved the privacy, the nature, the cleanliness of the cabins and the grounds honestly to many things to list but I can tell you if you want to go for relaxation this is the place!!! The perfect place to stay for a Garden of the Gods trip! Alice was so welcoming and really thought ahead with both the tea/coffee station and a blanket for my dog to sleep on the bed. Also a great place for post-hike naps 😅. Thank you Alice for sharing your home with my dog and I!
