Kate's Place has been my go to place to stay when vacationing in Southport. Kate is a thoughtful and friendly Host. Kate's Place is perfectly located from downtown Southport, the Ferry to nearby Bald Head Island and Wilmington. It is only a short drive to Oak Island. Kate's Place is a perfect place for a single visitor. I always feel right at home.

I booked this Airbnb for a family of 8. It was nearly perfect! Hosts were phenomenal. So proactive, so detailed, and so accommodating! The place was clean and had great amount of space. We used the elevator a lot and never had a problem with use. We felt extremely safe & comfortable. Less than 10 minutes from the beach and a ton of access points & restaurants & the boardwalk. I can’t say enough great things! We will DEFINITELY be back!

This rental was exceptional ! We had a wonderful time and felt right at home. The cooking pans, cups, plates, utensils, oil, coffee made it very easy to be there!. It was clear this family just wanted us to share in the beauty of their convenient location to several beaches and fun, while being able to get away and enjoy the peaceful place. The linens were very clean! We had someone staying above us and never even heard their feet. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place.
