Unwind with fabulous views in the Scottish Borders

SharonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just home today after a lovely stay at The Longhouse. We were a family group of seven adults (and one little dog) and the house was perfect for us. It was warm and cosy, very well equipped, modern, spacious and had everything we needed. Natalie was very helpful when I messaged her and replied immediately. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay at The Longhouse.

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage was beautiful, in a beautiful setting. It was so cosy and very homely. Alasdair was friendly and helpful, brought logs promptly when asked. Lovely walks on the doorstop and had a really lovely holiday, would come to go back and stay again.

Cottage is just above the bay - a short walk down steps to the beautiful beach and the path to St Abbs. Great for swimming and trying to spot a Minke whale, powerful hot shower for afterwards. Would come back.

Groom's House on Country Estate

TillyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We spent a lovely bank holiday weekend here, Marjorie was really responsive and welcomed us when we arrived. The house was lovely and clean, and we really appreciated the chocolates left for us! The house is in a beautiful location, easy to get to the local villages or even a day trip to edinburgh. We also had the joy of meeting some of the newly born lambs! Thank you Marjorie, we had such a nice stay!

Stylish city centre flat , clean and welcoming

Yusuf OrhanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Speaking of Skye, She was quick and clear with responses to my questions. Since we arrived early, she offered flexible time check-in and it worked out great for us. I would say he is understanding. There were a lot of things in the house for our need. I would say we didn't feel lacking. In addition, maybe a quick coffee maker would be much nicer. But there were filter coffee supplies to keep you from staying without coffee. The neighborhood of the house is close to many places. There is a nice park nearby and it was great to have a grocery store right next to us. It's a little difficult to say something negative, but to criticize it, maybe having a lot of decorative items in the house can criticize. Apart from that, we were very satisfied, I think the price is very convenient and sufficient in terms of performance, and a clean house. Thanks again to Skye for having us. 🙏🏻

Stunning Tollcross Apartment

MarekRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Edinburgh was the first stop on our Scottish road trip. Yvonne place is located a walking distance from all of the city attractions. It’s a very spacious apartment that served the family of 4 perfectly. The street is very quiet, you had an amazing breakfast place just at the corner, right next to a great pub and a grocery store. Yvonne herself gave a us an extremely warm welcome and she was super responsive before, during and after our visit. I can highly recommend staying with Yvonne!

Private Entrance, City Centre, Apartment.

MegRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A nice, private place in a quiet neighbourhood. Great if you want to be near but not in the hustle and bustle of the Old Town. The flat is very spacious. Two generous bedrooms, big living space, kitchen diner, bathroom and separate toilet... we were really impressed. It's extremely well equipped and comfortable - all the mod cons from the kitchen to excellent shower, comfy beds that are a dream, and blankets to chill on the couch with. A lot of nice touches to welcome you. We didn't need to bring any amenities which was really helpful for a backpack only kind of city break. There's no outside space included which was a shame, use of the garden is not permitted. The upstairs neighbours are early risers and so it's pretty noisy first thing, but other than that was very peaceful and a restful space. The host is super responsive when needed and leaves you to it otherwise which is nice. It was a good Edinburgh find, and we enjoyed staying here. Thanks!

Spacious, lovely top floor one bedroom flat

BethRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Roy’s place was lovely. Very clean and comfortable, with all the things you could need for a stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. A very good placement with a bus stop about a 1 minute walk from the house and only taking about 30-40 minutes to walk to Princes St. The record player was very sweet - with lots of records to choose from - and beautiful big windows to let in lots of light. Everything was very functional and comfortable!

Flat 6 3/4 Self-catering Studio with bed & sofabed

SaraRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The description of the apartment is very accurate. The apartment was extremely clean and has some touches which makes you feel the owners want you to feel "at home". For example, leaving an umbrella or the availability of a couple of travel adaptors for electricity, etc... We also appreciated very much to be able to leave the luggage in the apartment and pick it up later in the check-out. Therefore we totally recommend it for anyone visiting Edinburgh and who does not mind to walk 20 min to reach the center.

Wallace House

MelanieRating, 5 stars5 months ago
we have just left Howford house after a lovely 3 night weekend stay to celebrate my husbands 40th. we were a family of 14 adults, 2 children and a newborn baby and we had the most peaceful comfortable stay. the house is fantastic, it has everything you need and the location although super private and peaceful, it was near restaurants, the coop supermarket, Traquair House and land which we got discounted because we were house guests, and lots of walks and hikes. the surrounding acres were stunning with the frost and autumn leaves. we all loved our stay, the kids (and the adults) didn't want to leave. special thanks to Elaine the housekeeper who was brilliant with her communication and help. we will recommend and be back in the future.

Stunning Georgian Manor Retreat, Exclusive Use

RosellaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Nicks place was absolutely amazing! I will definitely be going back - hopefully at some point soon! The house was easy to find and so private - perfect for a large group who didn't want to bother any neighbours! It was ridiculously clean and had absolutely everything you could want. Everything was thought about - music systems, hot tub, karaoke, SO MANY FRIDGES! There was fantastic cooking facilities and everything you could need to cook. The coffee machine was very appreciated too. We didn't realise the house was in a dark sky reserve which meant the stars were soooo clear - helped that we had the best weather, day and night! The walks around the area were fantastic, local amenities were great and our overall stay was extremely memorable. Nick was exceptional, he even came over to help me out with the karaoke machine (which ended up being a "you just need to turn it on" scenario - sorry Nick) and nothing was too much trouble. ps. the beds were so so comfy and we all slept great!

Traditional stone Northumberland farmhouse

KennethRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The place was absolutely stunning. We were awestruck by the gorgeous interior. Visitors can expect a fantastic time staying in the accommodation. However, having a vehicle to travel is a must. There is parking available. Indoor heating (radiators) is provided in every room and common areas. Fireplace was used during our stay in the winter season. The host is very responsive and friendly. While the location provided is accurate. The drive up to the accommodation can erroneous as google map did not consider the closures at Forest Drive. Hence, it will be good to check with the host properly.
