Time - 5* Countryside Escape with Hot Tub

ClaireRating, 5 stars8 months ago
A fantastic family stay at this wonderful barn conversion. We couldn’t have asked for more. The location is great, just a few miles outside the main town of Galashields (which has everything in it….and some great delivery services) The property was spacious and catered for our needs and our wheelchair user. The hot tub is the icing on the cake, peaceful and tranquil at any time of the day. We would love to return in the future.

Whitfield Bothy Cottage & Hot Tub

JaneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely few days here. The place was very clean and we felt right at home. The garden is enclosed and there were even treats for the dog and a crate already here. The place looks so adorable both inside and out it was a gorgeous place to be. We relaxed at the cottage on one day, explored the neighbouring coast, and took the train to Edinburgh. Perfect Easter break.

We had an amazing stay at the Orchard hideaway - it is in beautiful, rural and peaceful surroundings, and is exactly like the photos. It is private, warm and very clean, the hot tub is great and well maintained, and the host has thought of everything to make it a comfortable relaxing stay. We would love to come back and 100% recommend!

Kennels Cottage, The Yair

HazelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful secluded location. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was everything you needed in the property. It was also very light and spacious. The covered hot tub sold it for us! 10 minute drive to shops and takeaway and 15 mins to Galashiels where there's a lovely cinema. We've already booked for next year!

Curlew Cottage and Free Shepherd's Hut

KimberleyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
A lovely cottage with all the amenities needed with out any fuss. Our son especially liked his bedroom with the balcony over the living room and the Shepard's hut was lovely to retreat to in the evening with the fire, especially when it was typical Scottish weather.. A lovely stay would come back for longer next time & Danielle was lovely when we couldn't figure out the bedroom blind and we even met the dogs on the last morning who were curious but well behaved.

This is a wonderful place to stay for us, convenient for city (walking & bus), great bus service so easy to explore further afield. Loved the flat's eclectic look, very functional kitchen with all you need if you want to cook. Gabriella was a great host, very responsive & welcoming. Left local map, lots of information & books to help get the most out of a visit to the city.

Lovely little house in Yarrowford - Yarrow Valley

VaniaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The cottage was really nice. It has great walks from its front door. It’s nicely equipped. Restaurants are a little far and a car is needed to go to shops, restaurants etc. However, if you are looking for a peaceful retreat it’s an amazing place to stay.

A House on the Hill: Highfield farm cottage (4+1)

MelanieRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

Gorgeous Quiet Garden Apartment, Sleeps 4

AndreaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a wonderful host! Jon was super helpful and communicative, as well as laid back and made sure we were right at home. The place was lovely. Clean sheets and super comfy beds, as well as cozy and warm. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials for cooking. He also has the nicest shower I’ve EVER had! It’s on a private, quiet street with lots of cafes and pubs nearby and as described in terms of distance to the city centre/castle etc. We walked there and it didn’t feel too long. 10/10 would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a lovely, home away from home, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world! Thank you Jon!

51 18 Caledonian Crescent

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The apartment is really bright and spacious and tastefully decorated. The living area and kitchen are perfect. The apartment has everything you need including a washing machine and dryer. Audrey explained everything very clearly to us when we arrived to drop off our luggage (the owners facilitated an early drop off before 4pm). In terms of improvements, the water boiler is quite noisy so if someone used the bathroom late, it could wake other guests. We would have appreciated shampoo in the bathroom - some of our party flew with hand luggage only with a small liquids allowance. We enjoyed our stay and it was convenient for the EICC, a 10-15 minute walk. The welcome breakfast pack was a nice touch. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including Napoli-themed Pizzeria 1926 with delicious pizzas!

Unique, bright 2 bed house with private parking

GeoffRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved this apartment. Its location was great. Quiet at night with restaurants and groceries nearby, easy access to the busses but also a nice walk into the old town. The apartment itself was beautiful, with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets to cozy up under while watching tv. The kitchen is well equipped and was more than sufficient during our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better apartment. I hope we can return to Edinburgh, and if we do, we'll stay here again.

Rustic Chic Victorian Edinburgh Flat

Sean and Sally's apartment is beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. It has very thing you need for a visit to Edinburgh. We were visiting for a concert in the Usher Hall and this was a perfect location and also a bit of sightseeing. We also went to a film in the lovely Cameo cinema nearby. I would highly recommend staying here.

The Bothy

MelodyRating, 5 starstoday
Had a wonderful stay at the Bothy. Sally and her husband were very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and inviting with thoughtful little snacks and extras. The street parking was full when we arrived, but after navigating a wrong, very tiny drive, the drive into the correct parking spot wasn't too scary. Make sure you look for the building that says "Nesby" on the side and save yourself the trouble of needlessly driving up a narrow drive. :) Great suggestions as to what to do locally. We walked along the river walk and over to an Indian restaurant that was only 3min away--food was great! Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend.
