The perfect rural setting for 2 people. At first, the area takes your breath away and then it allows you to relax. The Green House is well thought out and has everything you need for your stay. It is delightful to sit on the patio watching the chickens and sheep or listen to the rain. Lots of hiking in the area and sporting clays are also nearby. The local pub is open for dinner every night and lunch on weekends. You are on your own for breakfast

What can i say, we have just come home from a week at the tibbie shiels caravan and i feel claustrophobic. The view and the area is completely stunning. The caravan is exactly as shown and described (slightly dated, but homely and usable) (i also wouldnt want a bright white sterile place to stay when you have the loch and hills to come back from). Alistair and Eleanor were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and nothing was too much, even when they were fully booked with campers. The private little garden and gated area are just gorgeous next to the river facing st marys loch. We have stayed on site and travelled around the nearby towns and beauty spots. Weve had an amazing time....bring waterproofs. There were 2 adults, 2 big teenage lads, 2 kids and our dogs....it was a squeeze but we managed!! We will be back and we cant wait for the next adventure around the area! Thank you!

So happy to return to this wonderful accommodation! Amanda is incredibly thoughtful and great with communication. The area is fantastic - a quiet, private, lovely location - yet within blocks of bustling Bruntsfield and Morningside, with so many great shops and restaurants and an easy bus ride to all parts of Edinburgh. And nothing beats the view of Arthur’s Seat when walking through the nearby Meadows. Looking forward to staying again!

we had an amazing stay. the hosts were brilliant with directions, local things to do. we were staying for a wedding close by. They offered us a lift to save a taxi fare ( not needed but very much appreciated) pointed us in the direction of the river so my wife could go for a wild swim. the dogs are great and came with us whilst we were outside and super friendly. the accommodation was perfect for our needs and we will definitely return for another peaceful stay in Northumberland. we left super early to go collect the kids after the wedding and we were given bacon rolls in lovely cheese bread bun. so nice and got us through the long drive. 10/10 stay thank you so much for hosting us. Great little place for a few nights in an awesome city. a bus stop right outside, and close to another main bus route. The room is cosy, with a very comfy bed. Susie has left chest instructions on how to turn everything on and off. Very nice and private.

Absolutely fantastic stay and the host was extremely responsive and helpful. The pod and location was beautiful, couldn't fault it in the slightest. What a wonderful way to celebrate my wife's birthday and our anniversary! Would book again in a heartbeat!

I had a fantastic stay at Leo's place in Edinburgh! From the moment I arrived, Leo was incredibly welcoming and helpful, he took the time to show me around the house and explain how everything worked, which made settling in super easy. The property itself is modern, bright, and beautifully maintained. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, which made the space feel really comfortable and inviting. One of the highlights was the location—set up in the hills and surrounded by nature and farms, it was the perfect peaceful retreat while still being within reach of the city. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with a great host. Thanks again, Leo!

Had a beautiful child free stay for two days which was bliss in the most perfect surroundings. The pod was clean, modern and easy to get to from instructions given. It was well worth the drive up from Manchester and I'll definitely be recommending to friends and family. Hopefully I'll get to visit again. Thank you so much.

The place is small but quiet and nicely maintained. Veronica is very friendly and accessible. We mistakenly thought the place had a Kitchen and bought some groceries. But. the place has one table stove to lend and Veronica lent us wok and pot so we did not have to waste the food. You should not use the address on the airbnb site or use google map or apple map link from the site. They will take you to completely wrong places. Just follow Veronica's instruction or type in the property name in the google map.

We had a lovely stay at Dunty’s Lodge! The lodge is so cosy and clean, the hot tub was great and the area is so private and peaceful. I would highly recommend staying! James and Sarah were so quick to respond to any questions and gave detailed instructions for check in/safe use of fire and hot tub. Absolutely loved this stay:)

fantastic cottage that was spotlessly clean , so peaceful and the view from the patio was outstanding as was the abundance of wildlife to see . Julie was brilliant to liase with and I would highly recommend this place to anybody. Mark & Lynne .

On route I sent a message to the owner to confirm our arrival time. He ensured we knew where we were going and said to call him if we needed any direction. Once we arrived and got unpacked the owner came round to show us around and explain certain things such as the shower, kitchen appliances and hot tub. We brought 3 large dog with us and being able to let them run and chase the ball around the large enclosed garden was a blessing. Our dogs don't get on well with other dogs so this allowed us to relax stress free without worrying about other dogs. The garden house was clean and tidy and everything provided for including games, DVDs and lots of complimentary toiletries! We enjoyed breakfast with a cafetiere of coffee overlooking the beautiful scenery. The owner told us about some nice local walks by the river and a local cafe which we tried out. Overall we had a much needed lovely breakaway with our dogs who are all now completely tired out from chasing their ball all day long!

This place was absolutely beautiful & nestled in the most peaceful location. Our only complaint was that we didn’t book it for longer…hated to leave this gem!

What a little gem this is. Amazing design with the bedroom overlooking beautiful views of the coast. The hosts were so friendly and had thought of everything you could need. Very clean and spacious with a really individual design. Very secluded spot, good location and walking distance to Coldingham. Recommend to any couple!

Perfect little get away spot with beautiful scenery and all the essentials with the added bonus of donkeys nearby. Couldn’t recommend more!

We here for 2 nights to give our elderly dog Kiera a 'last holiday' and when we arrived, we were blown away by the cabin. The hosts vibe shines through in all the little details. Unfortunately, Kiera took a turn for the worse after spending just 5 hours here and we had to head home to the vets. Lotte was extremely understanding and compassionate when we had to leave the cabin early. We are gutted we didn't get to spend the full time here to appreciate it's full experience, but wouldn't hesitate in booking again. We plan to book here again every year to remember the time we had with Kiera. The cabin is located in a little piece of heaven and is exactly what you need to get off grid and forget about life for a while. the record player was a great touch too! 10/10
