Vacation rentals with breakfast in Scottish Borders

We had an exceptional stay at carol's house, we had been walking all day and got to carol's late on the Saturday night and she was very helpful, offered to pick us up but we thought we had come so far, what was an extra little bit 😍 We had a good chat then carol showed us to our room and private bathroom which were spotless and akin to a hotel room, very comfy beds, TV, fridge... She left us out breakfast in the morning as we were leaving very early, fresh fruit and cereal, it was so thoughtful and fortified us for the day ahead. We ended up walking 91km that weekend, with the equivalent of 2 Munro's covered in elevation... Carol's superb airbnb was essential in helping us do that. Thanks again.

Me and my daughter stayed here for two nights recently, to attend a local wedding. Vicky went beyond what was expected of a host. The dwelling was decor throughout to a very high standard and was very welcoming with some very personal touches . Personally I struggle to sleep with the road traffic noise on the front of the house, but my daughter Absolutely love staying there and we come back again as would I . Thank you very much Vicky, I would say Beeswing Airbnb is the best todate I have stayed in .

This is such a wonderful, clean place to stay. Just far enough out of the city to get some quiet, but close enough with a short walk to the bus stop and a quick 20min bus ride, or 15min Uber. The view from their street looking on to Arthur's Seat is stunning (especially if you get some sunshine). They had a lovely breakfast table set for guests. They had a basket of travel guides and some print outs that were very useful! Very kind, responsive, welcoming hosts. Their home was beautiful. We would 100% stay here again if we ever came back to Edinburgh.

Shiela, is a very friendly person and she gave me lots of advice about Edinburgh. I had travelled for 24 hrs and she readily accommodated my early check in. In terms of the place, it’s very peaceful and beautiful. While the city center is not too far, only 3 buses operate from there. So have to keep a watch on the schedule. I’d definitely recommend her place to my friends. But I’ll be honest, it’s a bit pricey. Maybe Edinburgh is expensive but Airbnb in England was cheaper.

Georgina was an exceptional host, nothing was too much trouble and we particularly appreciated the little details, for example, fresh flowers in our room, an array of tea and coffee making facilities, etc. together with her knowledge of the local area and amenities available. Georgina is sincere and friendly with many an interesting tale to tell, her home is clean, warm and has all the conveniences you could require, the surroundings of the property, in our opinion, are exceptional, we are looking forward to going back later this year. This place is CLEAN!! I don't think I've stayed in a cleaner AirBnB in my life! very well situated (I needed to be near the hospital), and quiet. Lovely little balcony, fantastic bathtub, spacious kitchen, and I love how deep the sofa is. Check in and out were very easy, and Javier gave loads of helpful tips. The info pack they had on the table was great. Really enjoyed my stay, great value for money :)

La habitación es tal cual se la ve en las fotos, impecable es poco, el orden, la limpieza, el cuidado en cada detalle se notan en cuanto llegas. Que decirles de Joice, nunca tuve una anfitriona tan atenta y cálida, siempre en el mínimo detalle, lo cual hizo que nuestra estadía se sintiera como estar en casa. Los desayunos que sirve mejores que en un hotel 5 estrellas y es tan atenta que nos ofreció bolsitas para prepararnos sándwiches para el almuerzo y llevarlos. Todos los días asearon la habitación así como el cambio de toallas. Respecto a la ubicación es ideal, te manejas a pie para ir a todos lados y la llegada desde el aeropuerto es super directa. Sin dudarlo volvería a alojarme con Joyce.

Clare's accommodation was as described. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Clare was great at responding to messages promptly and was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Spending a night in Clare's accommodation met our needs completely and helped our trip to be an enjoyable success.

The hosts (Debi and her mum) must be the two nicest ladies in town! Debi is incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. The room and the bathroom (which is for the guests solely) were spotless. Everything one would need is provided. The sleeping room is very nice, high ceilings, lots of space, tastefully decorated, with a beautiful view to the garden. We would have loved to spend some relaxing time in the garden, just the weather wasn't really welcoming during our stay. We were very thankful for the yummy breakfast - toast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, jam, cereals, milk and tea. This was a great start to our sightseeing days. Debi gave a lot of helpful recommendations. Just to mention the fantastic Indian restaurant only 5 minutes walk from the house. The commute to the city centre was very easy - just hop on the bus which arrives every other minute. The bus stop is a very short walk. We can recommend this AirBnB highly! If we ever returned to Edinburgh, we will definitely stay with Debi again

We were a group of 6 and the moment we walked into house, we all felt like home. A spacious home with an outstanding interior design, super cosy. The kitchen was well staffed (best kitchen we‘ve ever had in an Airbnb). For the first morning David and his wife left us everything we needed for a proper breakfast. Thanks again for letting us stay at your beautiful home 😊 Absolutely recommended.

Lovely place to stay—just wish I could’ve stayed longer, but it was only a short visit for a 60th birthday celebration. I’ll definitely keep it on my list for the next time I’m in Edinburgh. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings made for a perfect night’s sleep.

C’était un très bon séjour! Katrina est une très belle personne, gentille, sympathique ,au petit soin, et avions tout ce qu’il fallait à disposition . Peut-être reviendrons nous un jour à Édimbourg, cette belle capitale, et à ce moment, n’hésiterons pas une seconde pour retourner chez Katrina que nous embrassons bien fort . This is such a great place to stay, from the airport you can take the bus 100, and get down at Haymarket, from there you can walk or take another bus, Tom's place is really close to the bus stops that take you to the center and the buses go very often. The room was amazing, clean, big and comfortable, as well as the private bathroom. Tom was flexible with our check in and the communication was always great!

We had a lovely stay in Carol's beautiful, comfortable house. For us it was the perfect location. Carol was welcoming, friendly and very helpful.

We stayed one night at Margaret's place and we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at ease.The room was very clean and comfortable and also had tea facilities.The views from the window were stunning.We will definitely return.Her dogs were also extremely cute.
