Apartment vacation rentals in Schönbrunn im Steigerwald

Jörg and his wife greeted us very kindly. The space was exactly as we imagined it to be. The terrace or the entire outdoor area is the highlight of the apartment. We were very pleased and highly recommend a stay.

Very well equipped apartment for a weekend about 15 minutes by car from Bamberg. Everything was clean and lovingly prepared, in a quiet location.

We were super satisfied. Everything is clean and everything you want is available. In addition, drinks and local beers in the fridge for a small fee. Very recommended. Host was very kind.

We had a very pleasant time in the apartment. It is flooded with light, with beautiful wooden furniture and a well-equipped kitchen. It was all there, what you need. The possibilities to sit outside, covered or not, in the sun or in the shade, with comfortable garden chairs and a large table were a positive surprise for us, as this was hardly mentioned in the listing. You are very undisturbed in the garden and look in a lot of greenery and can contemplate the beautiful evening sky. We were there without a car, which worked out well. The buses to Bamberg, where we borrowed good bikes, run almost hourly except on weekends. The local shopping is well equipped. So highly recommended even without a car!

We were guests of Herbert and his family over the Pentecost weekend (we had contact with Franzi :)) and felt very welcome from the beginning. Everyone was extremely hospitable, which made our stay particularly pleasant. The accommodation was beautiful, tidy, very bright and friendly – you can tell that a lot of love for detail is put into the work here. We would like to emphasize the cleanliness – everything was really very clean and well maintained. The surrounding area is ideal for nature lovers. There are many beautiful paths for walks, which we have used extensively with our dog. He was also warmly welcome, which was a big plus for us. We were completely satisfied and can definitely recommend the place!

Beautiful, spotless space and calm little village. The room was exactly as advertised and had all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Easy to find with the instructions from Sandra. She was very responsive and a great host, despite us arriving so late (DB drama), she was very understanding and welcomed us with kuchen. Unfortunately our days were packed so we could not enjoy the accommodation to its fullest extent, but it was a great place to come back to after a day of activities. Would certainly return! Just a note, we came with a small van, and it was quite difficult to make the turn and get up the steep hill to the hof for parking. It would certainly be a lot easier for those with a smaller/normal sized car, but in case you are also in a bit of a bigger vehicle, just note you will have to turn a few times to make it work.

we had wonderful days at Stephanie's, a nice clean apartment good beds and kitchen and bathroom with what you need, you can sit outside it is a very quiet neighborhood and in warm weather we had 32 gr lovely cool house. the area is beautiful much to see with green mountains and valleys. Marc's apartment is a nice size and was very clean. We were greeted nicely, check-in is straightforward. We lacked nothing, the apartment was equipped with everything we needed. Beds are very comfortable. We had quite high outside temperatures, yet the rooms remained pleasantly cool. A parking space is available a few steps from the house, as well as the forest, in which wonderful walks are possible, so our dogs were also happy. Bamberg and many attractions can be reached quickly by car. We enjoyed it very much, we will be happy to come back. :-)

The apartment is very large and tastefully furnished. We felt comfortable immediately and will recommend it. For cyclists, the area is a dream. You can also easily take the train to Würzburg and Nuremberg.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully restored apartment. Peter met us upon arrival and patiently answered questions even though he had provided a detailed binder of information. He recommended Würzburg and places to see there, as we wanted a less-busy city to visit. Great advice. We had a very clean space. Good coffee and other non-necessary but appreciated extras. We’d definitely stay again.

We stayed 3 nights in this great apartment. Check-in went smoothly. Particularly noteworthy is the cleanliness, rarely found anything comparable. We liked the loving decor and the great terrace overlooking the countryside. Only the missing door to the open staircase (but it will soon be installed) is a bit unusual. Definitely 5 stars from us

It was a nice stopover on our trip from Hamburg to Garmisch. We felt comfortable and were able to take a nice hike directly from the apartment.

We booked Stefan and Gülay's apartment at very short notice. Communication was incredibly fast and very personable. The accommodation is located in the middle of the old town and is highly recommended. Everything is tasteful, carefully and stylishly furnished - exactly as shown in the pictures. Access by car, parking, etc. are easily feasible as described. We would come back anytime!

We used the apartment together with my husband both for the wedding preparation (my sister – at the same time my maid of honor – and I) and for the night after the party and were completely thrilled! Already at check-in we were warmly welcomed by Nia – she was super friendly, accommodating and immediately took care that we felt comfortable. When she learned that we were getting married, she even offered us quite simply to stay longer in the apartment on the day of departure – a really generous and accommodating gesture that made us start the day very relaxed. The apartment itself was clean, lovingly furnished and perfectly equipped – we had everything we needed and felt comfortable from the first moment. The hot tub in the garden is a real highlight! Location was also ideal. Thank you so much, Nia – for your warm manner and the beautiful apartment, which became part of our special day!

Check-in was hassle-free, we were allowed to use a parking bay directly. The apartment was very nice and the beds comfortable. The kitchen was really well equipped - everything you needed was easy to find. There is a 2nd small apartment, Liz also lives in the house - that's just good to know. There was a nicely laid out chicken coop, which our son was very enthusiastic about. It is recommended to have the whirlpool explained in peace. The surroundings are quiet and the view is beautiful - you can relax here! We highly recommend a trip to the zoo or Playmobil Funpark. In the Playmobil Funpark, it is better to take a change of clothes with you - because there is a lot to play with water. Liz was friendly and available for questions.

Gunnar’s place was charming and comfortable! We loved how close it was to the tram, very convenient!

Everything was perfect! Anna was quick to respond to any of our questions and the property was immaculate. Can’t wait to return next year.

Very nice and helpful family, whose great garden could be shared. Especially for small children, there were many great play opportunities both indoors and outdoors.
