Bungalow vacation rentals in Scarborough

Beachview is a great find. The bungalow is perched on the cliff with great views out of the living room window and a grassed sitting area on two sides. Spacious lounge / open plan kitchen with a comfortable sofa. Adequate bathroom with over bath shower. Bed and bed linen very good. Very quiet location a few minutes from the centre of Hornsea. We were blessed with fabulous weather and loved just relaxing at Beachview bungalow.

We have stayed at The Bay before. This lodge is finished to a really high standard and extremely well presented. We were really pleased with its size, layout and it is well positioned in The Bay. Close enough to everything and well placed for privacy and to enjoy a peaceful break. Andrea was a fantastic host and very responsive with any enquiries, we will definitely consider returning.

We stayed in a caravan at Primrose Valley for my son’s football tournament and had a fantastic time. It’s a great spot for families – the site is really well maintained with loads of activities to keep everyone entertained. The sea views were absolutely beautiful, and the beach was just a short walk away. Plenty to do for kids and adults alike – we’ll definitely be coming back!

Central and easily accessible. Good connection to Rail and Bus if required. Five mins walk to the center. Stayed for three days for a last minute break with three grandkids. Used the property as a base as we were out most of the time.

John provided excellent communication about how to get into the property, we were greeted with a lovely note which had all our names on, letting us know how to contact himself and Lorraine if we had any problems and also a lovely welcome pack. The property was lovely and clean, the beds were very comfortable, we slept well but also it was in a lovely quiet location, within easy reach of York. There were 3 of us, so it was cheaper to get an Uber than to use public transport to get into the town. There was a bench table to sit on in the garden, which was nice and enclosed and got the sun on it ( although we only really slept here as we had a busy couple of days planned, so unfortunately we could not enjoy the garden). I would recommend this property to others to have a nice stay.

We were attending a wedding at Howsham Hall so it was a great location. James was extremely welcoming and helpful, even offering to pick us up from the local train station. The place was just what we needed and the hot tub was great for a girls weekend. The area was nice and quiet.

Lovely place to stay for exploring the east of Yorkshire. The rooms were very clean. We had everything we needed. Jim and his wife are very nice people.

Bungalow was very welcoming, bright, clean, spacious. Lounge very comfortable with 2 recliner chairs (1 Electric) and long "L" shaped settee. Wall mounted XL television. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped.Driveway easy to access. Nice welcome Hamper. Garden neat and tidy. Would definitely recommend. Most relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Absolutely wonderful find, we loved the accommodation, the location and the hosts. The garden was enclosed for our little dog and he enjoyed his goodie bag very much! This bungalow is simply beautiful and so well equipped! The location’s perfect a few minutes from the seafront and in the early morning you can hear the sea when you sit in the back garden. We look forward to staying again! Thank you!

Rachel was very responsive to my messages and explained everything I needed to know. On arrival we were blown away with The Acorns it was in such a peaceful location surrounded by fields but within easy walking distance to Huby. Rachel left us with some amazing “treats” and the hot tub was a great way to relax and unwind before attending a family wedding the next day. A Yorkshire Treat not to be missed. 😁

Brilliant stay for a couple of nights for family weekend away with 6 adults. House very clean and well equipped and we enjoyed a nice evening in the garden. Location as described and only 10 min walk away from city centre. Host very responsive to questions and helpful. Certainly recommend
