To be honest everything about this place was better than we expected it to be. The house was bigger and the beach was more beautiful. It really is a fantastic place to stay and it is run by the people who really care. We would be very happy to go back there again.

this house is magically peaceful. You can walk all over Uvita from this location . You can hear the river from the house and sit by or in it in a few steps!

We loved our stay here! The pool and outdoor area is beautiful and makes for a really fun outdoor dinner and pool fun! It is spacious and pristine!

Juan was very helpful and responsive. The place was clean and had everything we needed, a really lovely place to stay.

Cindy was very friendly and helpful at all times. The house is as shown in the photos and is pet friendly, a benefit for those of us who always travel with our pets. The condominium is very safe and quiet.

It’s hard to sum up my feelings about this place. It was so special and wonderful. It’s hard to describe. I also hesitate about giving it so much praise because I worry that next time I want to book it it’ll be full! The place was perfect. It was right on a private beach at the end of a private road. The water was a perfect temperature. The sand was soft. The ground Keeper was so friendly and very helpful. He was very kind to my kids and we felt right at home! Also a huge added bonus were his dogs. My kids miss our dogs when we travel and they were thrilled to find dogs here waiting for us when we arrived. There were limitless activities for us to do. We could lay around on the beach or swim in the pool or do excursions that were close by. This part of Costa Rica is extremely beautiful! I would stay in a place like this over a resort any day.

Lori´s place is simply extraordinary. We have been a bit here and there and the house, the views, the space and the location (particularly how it is immersed in nature) makes this place the best. The homes were spotless. Very clean and well equipped. It's beautiful instead. You see birds and in the afternoon in the farthest se son monitos. The only negative thing I could say is that the place is a bit alone and that there is not like a mesh that privatizes the entrance to the house, but in reality I totally recommend it. Don Carlos and his family, who help in the house are also very friendly

We loved staying here! I’ve been to a lot of Air B@Bs and this was my favorite. The house is updated and has air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The view is amazing. This place is located in between uvita and Quepose so it was about a 35 minute drive to both. Taryn was an excellent host who was friendly and helpful.

The reservation was for my parents and family, who say they loved the place, the proximity of the beach, the house so spacious, and its comforts, in addition to the attention he gave us with Reginald 🩵

Well located, private and with everything you need. There is a restaurant just outside and amenities nearby. My pets, partner and I had a great time.

This place was cozy and relaxing. A nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city while still being close. it felt like a private resort and the pool was well maintained. welved all the nature and plants around the Casita.

Great place to stay. Plenty of room for my family. And we loved the yard and pool to splash around in when it was hot out. Fer was always responsive and answered my questions. Only things to note: the parking spot was very tight but was super helpful to have. There are a number of great restaurants nearby, but not really any sidewalks, so be careful! And lastly, it can be loud at night in the neighborhood and there isn't really a front door (it's a screen with a wire frame), so you will hear it. While we were fine, we thought how it would have been different when our kids were younger and woke up more often.

Incredible views and surroundings. The sounds of the jungle were AMAZING! Everything was so clean and pristine with nice furnishings and bedding! We loved our experience and would stay again when traveling to Uvita!

We loved our stay here, wish we could have stayed for longer. The setting is ideal, the mesh screen walls make you feel like you’re camping out in the jungle but with all the creature comforts of being ‘at home’. Wouter is a great host, friendly, kind & helpful & even gave us a lift down to the beach. If you haven’t got a car it’s still doable, Uber works here and Wouter also gave us taxi nos. So don’t worry if you’ve not got wheels, this is still a perfect option!

This jungle paradise is special. You’re truly nestled within nature and you’ll never forget the visits from the monkeys. The property overall is beautiful with a view of the jungle/ocean in the distance and it’s only a couple of minutes to get down to the main road. I’d highly recommend this place for a one of a kind stay in Uvita!

Before I dive into how wonderful this home is, here’s a tip: rent a 4x4 vehicle for your stay. The house is located up a mountain, and Ubers are extremely expensive—$30–$35 just to get to the base of the mountain, and up to $80 one way to visit the nearby waterfalls. Planning ahead will save you a lot of money and give you more freedom to explore. Now, about the house—it’s absolutely stunning. Spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, it truly felt like a luxury retreat. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Nothing was overlooked. The bedrooms are cozy and serene, with super soft sheets and very comfortable beds—we all slept soundly every night. The bathrooms are large, featuring double sinks, walk-in closets, and showers designed to feel like you’re bathing outdoors—with views even from the shower! If you’re looking for a beautiful, clean, & peaceful home with jaw-dropping views, your search is over!

We had a great stay! The house was spotlessly clean and exactly as described upon our arrival – very cozy and well equipped. I would like to highlight the pool, which was cleaned daily and was always in excellent condition – a real oasis of well-being. The host was exceptionally friendly, helpful and always available. He always responded to our questions promptly and with a lot of care. From the beginning, you felt welcome and well looked after. Clear recommendation – we'd come back anytime!

Great location, the beach is at front and with great access walking. The pool has a good size and the house is very well equipped.

Love the place. The host helped arrange a car rental which you must have to get to the place. We used an uber a couple of times - although the uber couldn’t get all the way to the place.

The location is ideal — close to Uvita, Dominical, Bahía Ballena, and Ojochal — with hidden beaches, waterfalls, and delicious restaurants just minutes away. Whether we were relaxing in the hammock, cooking dinner with a view, or exploring the area, this home was the perfect sanctuary to return to each day. The hosts were warm, responsive, and made us feel right at home. We are leaving with full hearts and memories we’ll cherish forever. Highly, highly recommended — this place is magic. We’ll be back!

Would rent here again without hesitation! The location is great. We loved being close to town and things to do but still having all the jungle vibes! We saw lots of monkeys right in the back yard! Alex and Glen were both very friendly. We also did the mangrove Kayak tour with Alex & Goldie (his pup)! Would highly recommend that tour! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here!
