House vacation rentals in Savegre de Aguirre

Our week stay in June was one of the best experiences ever in a STR. You GetHere property managers met us at the property, showed us how to use the amenities and were responsive to any questions. The home is beyond comparison. A rough drive up ( typical for CR) but after the first few times it is easy. Quality and cleanliness of the home was unmatched. We will be back. We used the suggested massage service and had them set up on the Zen deck. Very good deep tissue massage by professionals. We saw many of the other rentals we looked at and were glad that we picked this home.

This place was perfect for us, two adults and two kids (12 and 9 yrs old). We had originally planned on staying at another place higher on the hill until we realized the road to get there was insanely steep and challenging to navigate, especially during the rainy season. Eric’s place was easy to get to, with a friendly security guard monitoring traffic into the neighborhood. The view was AMAZING, the beds were comfy and the pool was clean and refreshing. Great location for exploring other beaches and the towns of Dominical and Uvita and an easy 1.25 hr drive south to Sierpe for a mangrove boat tour (which was awesome) or to access Corcovado NP. Eric and Fabiola were wonderful and very helpful hosts. First-timer advice: if you’re renting a car, go with a smaller 4x4, we got a Hyundai Kona. Barely fits our luggage, but easy to navigate on narrow Costa Rican roads and small parking spaces.

This home was beautiful, and the view unmatched! Oscar was so responsive and helpful with our very many requests. He gave local recommendations and booked anything we needed, even on short notice. It felt like our home away from home. We would definitely stay at this house again when we are back in town.

Drink coconut water straight from the palm trees, enjoy the fluttering of countless varieties of butterflies, the morning song of toucans or immerse yourself in the deafening sea of cicadas. Phenomenal property, beautiful, private, secure. We spent a lot of time in the great pool. Well appointed with every we needed. Expensive by Costa Rican standards but well worth it!

If Casa Serena is available BOOK IT now!!! The most wonderful, magical place I have ever stayed! The house and property are perfect with amazing views, wildlife, plants, waterfalls, comfy beds, beautiful pool, and more. Wai, the concierge, helped me from the moment I booked until the moment we left. He always responded quickly and helped me plan our itinerary, from activities, private chef our first night (did not want to worry about food after a long travel day), transportation, beach and restaurant recommendations. He was invaluable and can't brag on him enough! Gera the housekeeper is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She kept the place spotless including laundry, dishes and the best starfruit juice made from a tree right on the property! I know it can't be guaranteed but we did have a troop of Capuchin monkeys come and eat and play in the trees surrounding the veranda on our first morning. We loved Costa Rica and Casa Serena! Pura Vida!!!

Very clear instructions on where to go and how to get into the house when you arrive. Easy checking in and checking out. Location is beautiful! VERY short drive to a lot of restaurants and a large supermarket. We bought groceries and cooked breakfast most mornings and a couple of dinners. There was plenty of kitchenware, a great stove, and an outdoor grill that made cooking easy. The one thing to note if you are from the USA, is that this is a Costa Rican style home. There is no air conditioning in the kitchen, and no indoor living room. Sitting spaces are outside with no climate control. The bedrooms are spread out, and the only access to most bedrooms is from the exterior balcony or patio. All bedrooms had their own air-conditioning units and were very comfortable to sleep in at night. The neighborhood is very quiet and the property is gated. We felt completely safe staying there with seven kids in our group. If we’re ever in the area again we would definitely stay again!!!

Firstly, thanks Lissette for everything! WOW!! Is what comes to mind, this home has a spectacular view of the ocean, that we could of sat, watched and listen to for hours. It was very clean and cozy. I absolutely loved it. Lissette was very kind and helpful, even before my check in. She answered all my questions about the area she provided great recommendations. (If i would of had a little patience...lol.)Lissette also have a very helpful binder with instructions, tips, and restaurants provided for her guest. Lastly, don't second guess it, if you come across this listing book it immediately, you will not be disappointed. Pura Vida!!! enjoy Costa Rica is was amazing!!!!

Thank you to the hosts for creating a true paradise, this stay went above and beyond anything I had envisioned. My daughter and I felt at home the moment we arrived. The view of the ocean absolutely blew us away, and the peaceful jungle setting made it even more magical. We felt completely safe and private the entire time, which let us fully relax and enjoy every moment. This was more than a vacation rental, it felt like a retreat. We’ll never forget it. And one last thing, we HIGHLY recommend the tiramisu from Potz Bistro just down the road.

This place was incredible! Finding the house was a breeze due to Chris’s instructions. We were able to find it without any issues even in the dark. The house itself was the perfect size, had everything we needed, was clean, and had a beautiful atmosphere. There’s no AC but it honestly wasn’t an issue at all, there are plenty of fans to keep cool and the windows can be opened for fresh air. We also really enjoyed the outdoor setting, we spent a good amount of time on the back deck and in the pool. There was some cool wildlife to see around the house too! I have absolutely nothing poor to say about this place and would highly recommend!! Chris was very responsive and helped with any questions/concerns we had. If we were to ever travel back to Costa Rica, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this place!

Amazing house, pool, and location - close to everything in Uvita, yet secluded. The pictures of the view from the deck and pool don't do it justice. The house was very clean, and the hosts were easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this home to others.

Stunning location. Comfortable home has everything you need. we loved it!

We had a lovely stay. Stayed with our 2.5yo & was very comfortable. Monkeys visited multiple days by the pool and front yard and were very playful, fun to watch, moms had babies on their backs. Toucans in the trees, scarlet macaws & parrots flying by. Poison dart frog. Fabulous attentive host. Very well stocked home with milk, eggs, coffee, oil, bread, seasoning, containers, etc. Open air home (ac in bedrooms and family room), rain storms sound awesome. Tons of games & some toys. Pool is so wonderful with floaties and nice to have gradual entrance for toddler. Kids room is nice and has floor bed. One down fall is that the nicer master bedroom is on the first level and the kids bedroom is on the second, there is a another bedroom on second level where my husband & I stayed to be near our kid but it was the smallest room of the 4. But home is very nice and has tico touch which we enjoyed.

Cindy’s place was absolutely amazing. We loved every minute! The pool was SO nice, the views are incredible. It’s a short drive to the beach and town. Cindy was so great! She was so gracious and accommodating. We saw frogs, monkeys, iguanas, toucans and more all from the porch and pool. I really can’t say enough about the house and host! Thank you for an amazing time in your beautiful home!!!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home tucked into the jungle. The setting is very serene, with the sound of the river always in the background and the plethora of wildlife all around. The bed was very comfy, so a good nights rest was practically guaranteed. There are a few things I would note for anyone considering the home, especially if this is your first visit to the area. It is a 10+ minute rocky drive to the home off the main road, not a big deal with a sturdy car. Especially during rainy season, there’s a good chance you’ll lose power at some point, but seems to be restored quickly. Most places, including this home, discouraged you from flushing toilet paper, an adjustment from home. Being that this place is so small, there’s not a ton of privacy between the bathroom and bedroom, and the living area is not meant for lounging. That’s what the outdoor spaces are for! This was an experience unlike any other we’ve had in our previous visits to CR, I highly recommend it!

Jessica’s place was such a beautiful, relaxing place. Definitely recommend for a cozy getaway. Recommend getting a bigger car or truck for the hills heading up to the place. 10/10 recommend , Jessica was extremely helpful too!

Wow!10/10…. Beatas place has been the best place we have stayed in. Not only is the design beautiful but also extremely clean and spacious. Beata is also very detailed and reached out prior to arriving to ask if a crib is needed since I was traveling with my 1 year old, very thoughtful of her, as offer the crib and fresh blankets for baby were there as soon as we arrived. I can’t say much about the area as we were in town for a wedding and all activities were planned ahead of time, but we did appreciate the closeness of many restaurants and stores, we also got to go to the farmers market on Saturday morning which was great to see. Will definitely like to come back and do a humpback whale tour when their in season and baby is older to witness.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away! The place was exactly as pictured—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home (but better!). The host was incredibly responsive and kind, offering local tips and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.

I can’t say enough about this place! What a beautiful experience. If you want to be completely surrounded by nature in a modern home with an amazing view, this is your place. We were visited by toucans every morning outside the bedroom window and saw a number of different beautiful birds. I felt like I was in the tree tops with them. What a spectacular view! We also saw many white-nosed coati, a heard of peccary with babies, a deer and a group of capuchin monkeys passing by. The house was extremely clean and felt very comfortable. The host was very quick to respond with any questions we had. The drive up to the house is an experience! Make sure to arrive during daylight if possible. A 4x4 is 100% required! Half way up the hill is an adorable group of restaurants and a little market. We had a great dinner at Scala and breakfast at Sibu. Very convenient and highly recommend! Pool was very clean and a nice way to unwind at the end of the day! I would definitely stay here again!!!

This was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. The property is incredible. Josh and Cheyenne were super helpful and responsive. Josh showed my kids the chicken coup and greeted us with fresh eggs. He also helped us change our flat which was much appreciated. The property is very clean, tastefully designed with an incredible view. Would highly recommend a four wheel drive and finding it is a bit tricky but Cheyenne guided us. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Marta's home is the perfect place to relax. Easy access to Dominical and Uvita, Hacienda Ebona, Nauyaca Waterfall and Parque Reptilandia. Dominical has great restaurants and bars. Very laid back and relaxed atmosphere. The beds slept well and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The outdoor area is great and we truly enjoyed the pool, grill and outside dining area. From the decks you can see numerous hummingbirds, butterflies, toucans, parrots, hawks, capuchin monkeys and iguana. We enjoyed the chorus from the wonderful creatures found in southwest Costa Rica. From the deck you can also enjoy a bird's eye view of Playa Dominicalito. Watch the surfers, paragliders and visitors. The drive down to Playa Dominicalito takes maybe 5 min and it is every bit worth a walk along the beach at low tide. Plenty of space to relax on the beach as well with great trees for shade. Can't imagine a better way to experience Pura Vida!

My husband and I absolutely loved staying at Tim’s place! Eleanor was so responsive and helpful. They are both extremely warm and welcoming. The view is incredible and the home is picturesque, clean, and instantly makes you relax. We loved watching for birds while swimming in the pool! Would recommend to anyone!

Wonderful home, wonderful service from Esteban, in one of the most beautiful countries. Our experience staying here was first class. Esteban was so attentive and made sure that our every need was taken care of. The house itself is breathtaking. I feel that it's much more beautiful than what the pictures show. I recommend this place 10/10.
